An Informal Meeting

Meanwhile, an informal meeting was taking place.

Maria found herself within the Director's office, a place where he rarely finds himself in.

Their discussion involved the recent events that occurred, more specifically involving Yuki into something he had no knowledge of.

"Sir, do you think that was a good idea putting him into the youth program?"

"We'll wait and see."

"You basically gave him more motivation for becoming an agent than what he already had. He had no idea about the IJA before that day, sir."

"He had no home to return to, what was the problem with giving him a little push, it will keep him safe and busy rather than letting him sit in a disclosed location sulking over the loss of his father."

"But—you have a point, sir…"

"There is no need to worry, his father should have rubbed off on him someway, he'll do just fine as an agent if he makes it that far."

Training within the youth program continued, along with daily requirements such as endurance and combat training.

The youths continued this repeated process for the next thirty days with occasional resubmission into simulation training, which happened once a week.

Team three continued their process with Mr. Bob, eventually making their way to land a hit on him, which happened on the 24th day of their 30-day training process.

Each student accustomed finely to the training process, so much so that their preparation for the field seemed bittersweet, they all thought they were prepared enough for actual fieldwork.

The 31st will only be the beginning.
