Chapter1: One Month Left

In 1675 IY Emperor Sacramen III proclaimed the throne of the Aidesea Empire. Throughout his era, the Empire went through systemic changes. He reformed the coin system, centralised the military etc..etc...

Man, I can't get over all these emperors and their crap. How many more emperors do I have to learn about?

This is the worst. History and all its wars.

But why doesn't the textbook mention how those emperors accomplish things going through their contemporary socio-political changes.

It presents one side as bad and another side good.

But if I list down this particular emperor like Sacramen III he was not very particular any idealist as it's written.

From the given information if we draw a chart with the emperor at the centre while linking causes and then effects of those, we can interpret that he never plays any major roles, he was just there for his authority and approval.

From what I have deduced that this was basically due to the expansionism of the Vordarene Empire, and our Empire just copied its policies from Vordarene.

But I have to give credit to that man. Most sovereigns are so stubborn to adopt the changes of time or sometimes when they do they do, they changed so much on land, that it can't appreciate its history

Now if I list the economic inflation of that era we could.....

"Aidan Ranwell did you know how many times have I called you downstairs for the supper.

And what is this mess in this room it looks like a storm had come into your room?"

"But Grandma I was just getting on the good part.

But do you want to why crises of port Herman happened in 1789 IY...?" I couldn't say anything else, it had always been like this.

With an already bad mood and seeing the mess of the room Grandma just started calling out, "You and your weird questions.

Just why don't you study what's given in your textbook, or if you have some much time left?

Why don't you practice some mana channelling? Your entrance exams are just one month ahead?"

"But Grandma..." I said uneasily.

"Just clean up your room and come downstairs" Grandma declared and left slamming the door.

I don't know but she is somewhat right, I am lacking behind in many areas as the paper of Imperial Academy is seventy per cent theory and thirty per cent practical. I only know theory stuff and am completely blank in the practical areas.

Man, this room is a mess I think it can't be cleaned in hours or minutes, to say the least.

Fine, I'll clean this after dinner.

I walked out of the room and locked the room.

...

I entered the kitchen it was quite old. The ceiling is covered in black soot. I sat on the chair. Grandfather was sitting in front of me waiting for his meal while Grandma took out the hot stew and poured it into our bowls.

"Why didn't you cook any beans today?" Grandfather asked.

Grandma turned and replied.

"We were eating beans for the past three days so I made stew today"

"But I wanted to eat those today" Grandfather replied.

"You are growing old Grandfather you shouldn't eat too many beans every day" I added.

Seeing some resistance, Grandfather said

"But I don't eat that much."

"Like eating three bowls in one go doesn't count much," I asserted.

Listening to that Grandfather started to explain how he grew them.

"You don't how much I worked to grow them. I protected them from harsh weather, provided them with the best plant potions...."

"Do both of you want to eat or should I give it to dogs." Grandma interrupted with affirmation. A strong aura was resonating from her.

"Yeah. Yeah, we will eat. Heller eats up quickly" Grandfather mumbled.

"Yes, Yes " I murmured.

"Chew your food carefully Heller," Grandma said.

I replied with vexation

"Yes I know Grandma"

"So how are your preparation for the entrance exams going Heller," Grandfather asked.

"It's going well," I said.

"Ok Great, But I haven't seen you practising any magic or any type of magic, do you even know how to brew a simple metal dissolving potion?" Grandfather asked.

I replied.

"Yes, it's very simple we just have to burn volcanic ash in the presence of air then.."

"I know I know that you do that but try to also focus your practical training as it could affect your overall results," Grandfather said.

"I know" I replied.

After dinner Grandfather took the leftovers and some meat to feed the dogs and Grandma was doing the dishes while I was cleaning the table.

"Aidan tomorrow you are going to Swordmaster Arnon for your practical exams training." Grandma asserted.

"Swordmaster Arnon. What that old man could probably teach me about mana channelling and aura manipulation"

"I was in Imperial Knights and could help you to polish your skills"

"But Grandma..."

"I don't want to hear anything else. I and your Grandfather are worried about you. Be ready tomorrow, before the first bell understand. And also clean your room before going to bed"

"Yes, Grandma" I replied like always.

....

I returned to my room and locked the room

Now, where was, yeah the Empire under Emperor Sacramen III rule

He was the 6th child of Emperor

and he claimed the throne in the year 1675 IY

But how could he do that it was the 6th child Emperor with no political backing from any nobles whatsoever? And he couldn't have started a military rebellion as he was never popular with the military.

But if we go according to what has been written in the history books it says the Emperor granted him the throne seeing his pure heart gave him the throne.

Wow-what a good man ay the Gods bless him.

Who believes this crap. And also how only a few days after ascending the throne his siblings, as well as three queens of the previous emperor miraculously disappeared. I thought he was just another Emperor to be forgotten in the Imperial bloodline but this man is far more mysterious than I thought.

He not only somehow manage to

eliminate all his siblings and their families but also came out of all this mess without getting trapped or destroying his name.

But annexing the throne is bound to have some amount of allies and this

the man managed to have some of the best and most trusted allies without anyone noticing.

Now a big question arises who were those

allies?

We don't know.
