Konohagakure

"Okay Raion, how would you feel about going back to Konohagakure-- our village?" The offer surprised Raion as Aoki was taking a while to think and Raion was already thinking of back up plans in case the village didn't let him in. 'I think a lot of my future success will depend on getting into one if the major hidden villages and konohagakure is the best one for me due to my knowledge of the future surrounding it, actually now that I'm thinking about it, what time period am I in? If we're actually in the time of Boruto, then my knowledge is useless!'

As Raion thought about it, he decided he would ask for some info on what is going on as soon as his position in the village was stable. Raion realized he had been thinking for a while and responded to Aoki, "Hmm, okay mister Aoki I think that's the best choice I have right now, can you take me there?" Aoki responded, "Sorry kid, I have to stay at my post in case of any attacks, but I can send Asahi to escort you there." Raion proceeded to bow and say, "That is very helpful of you mister Aoki, thank you very much!" Aoki chuckled and said, " no problem kid, and no need to be so uptight with the manners, no one is going to eat you here!" Raion laughed shyly while scratching the back of his head and repeated his thank you, "well still, I thank you for being so kind and welcoming to me! I will work hard and become a shinobi just like you!" As Raion was talking to Aoki he was thinking, 'might as well throw some suck up in there, it can never hurt.' Aoki chuckled again and responded, "That's good Raion! I can see you have lots of potential as a shinobi, so work hard!"

After the conversation with Raion, Aoki thought, 'if a kid with a chakra level like him works hard he could easily become a very powerful shinobi, I just hope he is talented in other aspects as well.' After thinking for a little bit Aoki spoke to Raion, "before you go, let me write a message to Lord Hokage to help you settle in a bit better." Raion thanked Aoki and waited until he wrote the letter which Aoki gave to Asahi before the two departed the outpost for Konohagakure.

After about 2 hours of traveling on Asahis' back saw the gates to what he recognized from his past life as konohagakure. Raions' eyes lit up as he saw the 3 faces made out of stone on the far side of the village and thought, ' haha! That's great, it's at least a time period I know. I don't have to be worried about living in this unpredictable world without any advantages; however, although it's not the time of Boruto-- the fourth hokage hasn't been chosen yet meaning its before the end of the 3rd shinobi war, which I'm not completely versed in. I think this cements the idea that I need to get stronger fast so that I can survive the war in the future.' As Raion was thinking Asahi spoke, "We're here, we will be going straight to Lord Hokage to see his verdict on whether you're allowed to stay; however, I wouldn't worry about it too much as the message from Commander Aoki should help your position." Raion responded, "Alright thank you Asahi!"

Asahi walked through the village with Raion for a while until they got to the Hokage Mansion where Asahi talked to an administrator for a while until they were guided to the Hokages' office. The 2 Anbu members standing in front of the door eyed the duo until the administrator confirmed their identities. As the 2 stepped into the Hokages' office Raion began to get nervous and thought, ' although you forget it sometimes because of how much hate he gets in the anime, Hiruzen is still a man who in his prime was called the God of Shinobi of his era just as Hashirama was! And that is the kind of man who gets to decide my fate on whether I'm allowed to stay in the village!'

Hiruzen Saratobi watched as the chunnin Asahi and the young child entered his office. Hiruzen has just gotten over his momentary surprise due to the large amount of chakra the young child had as it surpassed an amount that was normal even for clans with high chakra levels such as the Senjus of the same age. However, although he was suprised he had seen many surprising during his time as Hokage so he quickly regained his composure. After they entered Hiruzen spoke to them, " Hello, Asahi it's good to see you again and it's nice to meet a new little one as well! What is your name little one?" Raion responded, "It's Raion, Lord Hokage." After the introduction Raion thought, 'Hiruzens smile really does seem like an old and kind grandpa it's not surprising he's so good at convincing kids and shinobi to fight for the village and to beleive in the Will of Fire.' Despite his thoughts processes both Asahi and Raion bowed to Hiruzen and Asahi proceeded to give him the message Aoki wrote that was addressed to him. Hiruzens brows furrowed as he read the message due to the weird and unusual circumstances surrounding the child in front of him. He thought, 'I'm not sure he's telling the whole truth about how he got there, but I agree with Aokis' assessment of his potential and of not being a spy and to let him train to be a shinobi. We're already low on personnel as it is, to turn away a talrnt would be unfortunate and other villages wouldn't send a kid with this much chakra to another village just to spy. I think accepting him and instilling the Will of Fire into him should clear any problems any future, but just in case I will have an Anbu check up on him every once in a while.' Hiruzen got done reading the letter and looked up at Raion with a smile that seemed to be filled with pity and said, "I'm sorry to hear about your unfortunate circumstances that led you here Raion; however I hear you wanted to train and become a shinobi is that true?" Raion responded readily, " Yes Lord Hokage! I wish to become strong and be an awesome shinobi!" Hiruzen chuckled to Raion's enthusiasm and spoke, "Very well Raion! We will set you up with housing and an allowance to live on until you can enter the academy next year."
