Control

The allowance given to those who need support when in the academy is 8,000 Ryo, and the housing is a small box apartment in shabby shape; however, even though it wasn't in good shape Raion was still happy with it as he inspected after getting guided there by the administrator from the Hokage Mansion. 

After Raion was done inspecting the apartment he thought, 'what an odd feeling, being given housing for myself without my parents constant abuse and pestering. Although some people always commented on the horrible living conditions Naruto had to go through, I can't help but feel grateful for this freedom that was granted to me, no matter what the condition of it is!'

After Raion got settled into the apartment, his first thought was to make a plan on what he was planning to do until he starts the academy next year.

'According to the words of Hiruzen I have about 1 year until I should start the academy, which should make this body about 5 years old, giving me plenty of time to train and get settled before I head to war!Until then I should train as hard as possible so I can graduate the academy early and get more time to train by myself while also gaining mission experience with my genin squad. 

While I'm training I also have to be careful of Root because I don't want any juinjustu placed on me or anything akin to that in order to keep secrecy. The question is, how do I do that? I suppose if they try to recruit me I could just reject them, but I also don't want Danzo as an enemy as he is quite scary as well as powerful. 

I think the best way to stay safe right now from Danzo would be to gain a backer who can protect me from him, a few candidates I can think of right now, would be Jiraiya, Sukomo Hatake, or any of the major clans could be good choices. Hmm, I'm not entirely sure of anything right now, I think training in secret for this year and deciding on any possible backers in the future is my best choice right now. 

Now that that is decided, I should first determine my chakra nature and then train my chakra control like crazy! As far as I can tell from the reactions I've gotten from Hiruzen and Aoki, something in me is talented and the only thing I can think of that can someone can instantly tell if you're talented is having a high chakra level. Which is something I should train to make bigger and use as an advantage in battles in the future. 

The first step in taking advantage of having a high chakra should be gaining better chakra control. As far as I can remember the main chakra control exercises were focusing a leaf on your forehead, walking up a tree, and walking on water. For right now I should probably focus on keeping the leaf on my forehead for 30 minutes before I start the other 2.'

After Raion decided on his training method, he decided he didn't need to know his chakra nature just yet and focused his efforts on chakra control first. Raion gathered a few leafs to practice holding it to his forehead first, but before that he decided to meditate first to get a feel for the chakra in his body. As Raion started meditating he felt the energy that was pulsing within his heart, he tried manipulating it out to his fingertips but struggled and eventually gave up for them moment and thought, ' Hmm, although it's difficult now, I at least got the feel for manipulating my chakra and can start training with the leaf technique.'

Raion got started with the leaf technique and it took him 4 tries before he was able to manipulate the leaf to stay on his forehead and it only stayed on for about 3 seconds before it fell again. Seeing how pathetic his chakra control actually was reaffirmed his decision to focus on his control for the next year. 

After about a week of practicing his control Raions' time changed from 3 seconds to about 1 minute consistently and sometimes up to 2 minutes. The increased control made Raion more aware of his body and its strength, he thought about the strength of his body, 'My body is much stronger than a kid my age should be, I'm able to jump much higher and move more weight overall even compared to my past body which was much older than I am now, leading me to believe the chakra naturally strengthens my body to be even stronger naturally,it does confuse me a little bit though as somehow when I first went to this body I couldn't feel any changes in ability, but I could feel the difference in height instantly. Which is weird and I don't understand it just yet.' 

Despite not feeling the changes in his body at first, he got used to them quickly and felt very comfortable with his newfound strength quickly. However after doing the same training for a week straight while surviving on grain pills led to Raion getting burned out, so he decided to take a break for part of the day and get an chakra induction paper to figure out his prominent nature as well as to get a bite to eat from Ichiraku, something he has been waiting to do since the day he got to the village. 

Raion decided to get ramen first as he was hungry, and sat down and ordered a bowl of miso ramen and after trying it thought, 'Damn this is good! No wonder Naruto always came back here!' 

After paying the 600 Ryo for the ramen, Raion thought, 'ugh, food is so expensive, I take it all back Hiruzen is a monster. he should really give me more money! Well it's unfortunate but for now I guess I have to live on grain pills.'

After leaving Ichiraku, Raion went around and asked a bunch of people for directions to the marketplace until he found a group of stalls. After searching around for a little bit he found a stall that sold the papers for 4,000 Ryo and decided to buy it, but thought, ' I really do need to find a way to make some more money, because being broke sucks as always!'

After buying the paper, Raion traveled back to his apartment where he decided to use the chakra paper instantly and thought, 'Well I wonder what nature I have? I don't really have any preference, so I guess we'll just see!'
