Chapter 32

(I predict that my readers would reduce in half after this chapter. Hopefully you guys would prove me wrong.)

I had to deal with my two friends beside me and let them know that I am awake. Just when I was going to cough, to give them a sign that I am awake, I heard a voice say "You are awake now. I will inform this to Lady Aki."

This was my bodyguard who followed me almost everywhere. My mom obviously came to the academy to congratulate my graduation.

Another thing I found weird was that, my mom was the only person who came for the graduation test. I couldn't see any other parent.

My guard's voice managed to bring the two idiots back. They looked at me with shy faces and soon G's face turned into a surprised one.

He asked "Why is your mom here? Does she not know about the tradition after graduation?"

I was confused, because even I didn't know of any tradition. So, I asked "Even I don't know of any tradition. What are you talking about?"

G sighed and said "I didn't know you were this decent and uninformed. There is a tradition that after they make a three man teams, if there are any kunoichi in the team, they have sex.

This was introduced long back, to make the kunoichi not feel weird when they are on actual missions. Apparently it also helped ninjas build up teamwork, as the ninja of ancient times didn't have the concept of teams like ours."

Now I understood why all the girls were unhappy about the graduation. They didn't like this. So, I asked "Why are they still doing it? I can tell that no one likes it."

"It's just that, this was brought up many times, but immediately dropped by some horny ninjas in the office, just because they wanted their sons to have sex legally." T replied with disgusted look.

I didn't want to think too deeply into this. I wasn't a fan of forced sex. So, I asked the next important thing "Did they announce our teams?"

G looked at me with a smirk and said "Yes, we three are there in the same team. Usually we wouldn't be on the same team, but you failing the lariat test brought down your score and now we all are there in the same team 5."

T had a scared look and asked "So Hakuto, are you also going to follow the tradition?" and even G's face turned dark.

I immediately declined and said "I don't have anything to do with that shit."

(This may seem unnecessary, but some things in the future would only make sense if I wrote this.)

That was a foolish tradition. Forget about improving teamwork, it would completely ruin it. So, after I was in a walkable stage, I left the nursing room and returned to my mother.

We celebrated the occasion with a grand feast. My mom invited the best Orian in town and many entertainers.

It was truly an amazing day. Never in my life did I expect that I would die and come to a world as a root ninja and later have such a great life.

After the grand feast, I returned to my room, tired. I was tempted to collapse on my bed, but I didn't want to forget anything.

So, I sat down and started writing down the knowledge I received that day and was glad I did so.

If I had directly gone to sleep, I would have missed out on something amazing. So, as I was writing something, a white snake crawled to my desk and hissed at me.

I was shocked. Not because I had a snake on my desk, but because it was the snake of one of the creepiest character of the show, Orochimaru.

The snake kept staring at me and I did the same. I didn't want to miss any of its movements. Its belly then felt like it enlarged.

It seemed like it had something inside, which started moving up and the snake spat out a sealing scroll. I could describe the visual with a single word 'Disgusting'.

I didn't want to even imagine Orochimaru doing this. I slowly moved towards the scroll and after making sure it was a sealing scroll, I opened it.

When I undid the sealing, a huge scroll came out of a white cloud.

I opened the scroll and as I was going through the scroll, my eyes opened wide in shock. My hands were also shivering. I immediately used my Byakugan to check if anyone was nearby.

My bodyguard was stationed outside my room. This was the condition Aki had to agree if I had to agree to have a bodyguard following me.

I needed my private time and didn't want anyone snooping around. After going through the scroll, I immediately closed it and sealed it inside my own sealing scroll, as I didn't want to touch that saliva covered scroll again.

I could tell that the snake was connected with Orochimaru and I seriously needed a talk. I used my telepathy to connect to the snake.

If my hypothesis was correct, I should be able to talk with Orochimaru this way and it worked. I connected with Orochimaru, who was closing his eyes and had a hand sign.

He said "Not this again. I seriously hate it when someone gets into my head."

I knew it, Orochimaru really found out that I got into his head that day, or maybe I am thinking too much and he could be talking about the telepathy skill of the Yamanaka clan.

I said to Orochimaru "Hey Orochimaru, reply if you can hear me. I am Hakuto and I seriously need to talk. I need answers."

Orochimaru had a smile on his face and said in his head "Oh Hakuto, the Staff Leader of Root. How are you? Hope my snake didn't disturb you." in a creepy tone.

"I can already tell that you found out about me, so we can skip the useless talk and get to the important stuff. I first need to know what is going on in your head. Why did you contact me and send me that?" I asked in a serious tone.

Orochimaru had the same joyful and creepy tone while replying "I figured out that you didn't have your memories erased, the first day I looked at you.

At that time, I wasn't sure that I was right and I wasn't that interested. But slowly, I noticed something in your eyes. Something I had seen in myself, ambition. The ambition to do something.

I could tell that you were different. It was apparent with the tone you spoke to me. No one would talk to me like you did. Even the strongest Root ninja would be cautious when around me, but you looked like you knew what I could and would do.

So, I sent a special gift. I want to see where you will reach after this. You got me curious and excited."

Wow, I didn't know Orochimaru could talk this much, and this much bullshit. He almost put me to sleep. I guess he could be good at babysitting.

"I don't care about all that, but what made you send me the scroll of the S-rank and Kinjutsu(forbidden technique)?" I shouted.

Note:- I know I did say I would write three chapters today, but I was busy. I was learning how to drive a car, and the traffic drove me crazy. I wasn't in the right state of mind to write. I almost fought with a driver. So, tomorrow hopefully the driving experience is better and I am in a good mood to write. Hope that you keep supporting me. Thank you.
