Guide Jonin

The crowd was astonished! They had never thought that Riku would be able to win against the Genin. But when Riku was about to leave an ANBU appeared.

"Please follow me to the Hokage's office," She said in a low tone.

Riku walked into the office and saw the Hokage sitting there with a smile on his face and he said "Good job Riku! I didn't expect you to be able to beat them. The Elite Genin you faced is one of the best Genin in the village! Also, what was that Jutsu you use?"

"Thank you, Lord Hokage, for the praise. And that was a Jutsu I created called Rasengan. It is an A-tier Jutsu.".

"That's amazing, to be able to create a Jutsu let alone an A-tier is proof of your amazing talent! Now, since you graduated early there are no other kids your age to be in a team with you. So you will be taught by a guide Jonin."

"I must get a good guide Jonin because of all the promise I just showed." Riku thought.

Hiruzen then said, "Ok you can come in now."

In walked an average height guy with spiky blonde hair. It was Minato Namikaze. It was also exactly who Riku wanted as a guide ninja. The number one speed ninja and in the coming war will get the name "Yellow Flash". This couldn't get better for Riku who wanted to become even faster than Minato, and he will also get access to Mount Myoboku for sage mode later on.

"This is Minato Namikaze! He is an Elite Jonin and will be your sensei from now on." Stated the Hokage.

"Hello, Minato-sensei!" Riku said quickly.

"Hello, you must be Riku! I'm very interested in you and your skills. It's a lot like me so I think that we'll be a good fit together." Minato said with his iconic smile.

"Ok, you guys can go discuss things now." Said Hiruzen.

Minato led Riku over to the training grounds

"This is where we will meet every day for tasks and training," Minato said to Riku.

"Yes Minato-sensei"

"Ok now for introductions, As you know I'm Minato Namikaze a Konoha Elite Jonin. I specialize in speed, taijutsu, and Shurikenjutsu. I like a lot of things, I don't hate a lot of things and I want to become the Hokage."

"I'm Riku Tanaka, a Konoha Genin who also specializes in speed and Taijutsu but also Ninjutsu. I love my friends, family, and village. I only hate things that threaten the things I love and I want to be the world's strongest ninja!"

"Great with the introductions out of the way, let me see firsthand what you can do," Minato said while getting into a battle stance.

"I won't hold back then," Riku said as he ran straight towards Minato.

Right as Riku was about to hit Minato, he disappeared and reappeared instantly behind Riku.

"What fast speed," Riku Thought.

Riku made a Rasengan while turning around to hit Minato in the gut but by the time he turned Minato was gone again. Minato had gone behind Riku again but this time didn't delay in kicking his side and sending Riku flying 5 feet away.

"You might be a genius for your age Riku, but I was one too. You can't rely on your current strength to get anywhere in the real ninja world."

"Ow! I understand Minato-sensei" Riku sputtered as he was standing up.

"What is that Jutsu that you used earlier if I may ask?" Minato asked very intrigued.

"It's called Rasengan, I made it to compliment my close-combat style of fighting," Riku replied.

"Would you mind showing it to me? I would love to use it as it would also fit well in my arsenal."

"Sure if you go to the store and buy some water balloons, rubber balls, and balloons I could teach you."

Riku then spent the rest of the day and the next following week teaching Minato how to use Rasengan and he was able to pick it up pretty quickly. In only 4 hours did he master the first stage then it took him way longer to learn the other 2 stages. Until he finally mastered it, after going out and celebrating that night with Riku the next day Minato had a surprise for him.

"Riku today we are gonna do our first couple of tasks."

For the next 2 months, Riku trained with Sakumo, and Guy and did tasks around the village with Minato. Then today Minato told him "Today, we're doing an escort mission for a wealthy villager to the Hachō Village. The difficulty is C-tier but don't let that fool you, a mission can very often change its difficulty. So be prepared!"
