Yin Nature

After reaching home Rayzen mulled over his discovery related to emotional empowerment of Sharingan. It was none other than nature transformation of chakra!

Nature transformation is an advanced form of chakra control that entails the moulding and defining of the nature of one's chakra, altering its properties and characteristics for use in techniques. This along with Shape transformation is necessary for creating or modifying techniques.

Rayzen had a basic mastery over Fire chakra nature, a few years after he unlocked chakra. This was partly due to his advantage as an Uchiha who had strong fire affinity and also due to his own comprehension about the nature.

Although he had not tested his chakra nature, Rayzen was sure that he had affinity to Fire nature atleast, due to the speed at which he mastered Fire style jutsus compared to other non-elemental jutsus.

Regarding his discovery, he felt that the nature to which his chakra was converted to had the similar feeling and identified with the one that was detected using his Byakugan, during a Genjutsu. It was the Yin chakra nature!

Only some specific clans like Nara had techniques that utilized Yin nature transformation. It was their secret techniques and hence outsiders would have no way to learn them. But Rayzen's case or the Uchiha's case in general was entirely different.

They had a natural way of acquiring and utilising Yin chakra, due to the Sharingan and their bloodline. The Yin natured chakra was like the fuel for Sharingan.

Days of studying and testing out his theory allowed Rayzen to understand more about the Uchiha, Sharingan and Yin Chakra.

He concluded that when an Uchiha unlocks Sharingan an accompanying mechanism is activated in his/her brain. This mechanism allows a natural conversion of chakra to Yin nature.

When using Sharingan without being emotionally affected, the Yin chakra generated by this mechanism and it's rate of generation are atmost slightly below the limit of this mechanism. But if emotions come into play, the mechanism is fully utilised and stronger the emotions easier the limits are broken.

This was the best of what he could understand with his current capabilities. Rayzen tried to imitate the mechanism with the help of a Byakugan using shadow clone. This was so that he can have a control over Yin nature to perform genjutsus. He felt that the results on doing that will surprise him.

He had this idea because genjutsus are essentially Yin natured jutsus. But they were used without an accurate understanding of the inner mechanism. That is, the creator of these jutsus might have had a specific comprehension related to Yin nature and they utilised this along with Shape transformation to create the jutsus. This meant that the creator might have had no idea he was using a nature transformation in his technique. Or even if he did, he couldn't bring out the best of his technique due to him not having a mastery over Yin chakra nature.

As Rayzen went on with his days by training and researching techniques, he soon found out Asami's 'goals' after the 'accident'.

She had developed an intense desire for power. He saw her trying to make hand - seals using a single hand during the initial months. If she was successful or not, he didn't find out. And after the first two months, she started training her body and Sharingan. A month later, she continued her spars with Rayzen as well. She even kept on practicing Micro-Burst jutsu.

Rayzen tried to stop her from such an intense training when she was supposed to recover, but it was fruitless. The best he could accomplish was that Asami followed his instruction in never using Micro-Burst jutsu with her body, even for training.

The days he slept with Asami too ended. He could see that she was growing desperate for power with each passing day. She even let her guard down and started embracing him to sleep. It was as if each day was the last day she had with him. This made him feel that she had fears that they will be separated, maybe forever.

Realising that things were getting out of hand, Rayzen started sleeping in his own room, like he should have. This was first due to the suffocating feeling he had whenever he was with Asami now. A suffocation from being unable: to know the the truth, to solve her problems, to atleast be of some help to her concerns.

He felt he lost something important that he used to have when he was with her. A warmth that made his soul feel safe and comfortable.

The second reason of him moving out of her room was so that he could drill into her the need to be alive and well. So that, whatever she was dealing with, if she lost herself in the process, she would no longer have him unless she remains safe. This was so since he felt he was the main factor behind her concerns and goals.

Asami too felt the distance Rayzen created between them, or better to say, she was responsible for being created. She felt sad and helpless, but, instead of worrying about it, she poured all of her mind and body into training.

At the same time, Rayzen calmed himself and stopped worrying all the time by either investing himself in training and research or spending time with his sisters and friends. Particularly, Mikoto! He would never want to make his sistes worry about him by pouring out his concerns over them. The rest of his friends were invested in their own things like training and family.

Shiroka was the best person he could confide in, as she was too intelligent enabling her to understand his problems, although in an objective way, and she might even provide him with some mental relief or advices. Although they were close, he didn't want to impose his problems on her. He felt that she was just interested in his thought process and actions and will even be willing to hear him out due to his favour, even if it's really boring.

Not wanting to bother anyone with his concerns, he could only immerse in training and research. That was when he found a strange sort of peace in Mikoto's presence.

I have been working on an original novel and I have exams too, so I feel the chapter might not be well crafted. Anyway, I want to end this volume soon and start with the next one.
