Ch 28 : Trick

Three days later, the Konoha army led by White Fang finally had their first confrontation against Chiyo-led Suna's army.

It was a sunny day as the terrain of Suna was very hot, but somehow, White Fang had a really bad feeling about this.

Nonetheless, the enemy was already in sight, and there was no choice but to confront.

Leading by giving an example, White Fang charged toward Chiyo while the other Konoha ninjas followed him.

" My fellow Konoha ninja, charge!!!!"

" For Konoha!!"

Led by white fang, an army of about one thousand Konoha ninjas charge upfront.

In this battle, they have the determination to finally knock Suna's army away after a six-month on a stale battlefield with no progress.

On the other side...

"Are all the preparation ready?" Chiyo was looking at the way of Konoha's army. When she saw the enemy charge directly into them, just like what they predicted, a smile rose in her mouth.

The battle today was right in front of Suna's camp, and if everything went well, then they might be able to take down Konoha troops in one full swoop.

"Then, let's do this. Remember to follow the plan. We can win this!" Chiyo roared as she tried to increase the motivation of Suna's ninjas.

"Sand Ninjas, charge!" Chiyo issued her order, and the battle between the two camps broke out!

This is not the first time Chiyo was facing White Fang. Since her son died in the hand of White Fang, Chiyo had always done her best to find out about White Fang, and now was a good time to get Revenge.

Chiyo decided to not hold anything back. When she entered the battlefield, she had already summoned her favorite ten white puppets.

Sakumo and Chiyo have faced each other many times. Against her puppets, he had his special method to break her down. Like before, it was all just a matter of time.

To Sakumo, everything looked just too familiar. This was too strange. Suna should know that they could not win this way. So what are they going for this time?

That thought lingers in Sakumo's mind, but he quickly brushed it off. Even though he could win against Chiyo, Chiyo was still not someone that he could battle while thinking of something else along the way.

While the Konoha and Suna ninja were confronting each other, somewhere not far away from them was Chisaki, Sasori, and Karura observing them silently.

" Chisaki, do you think this will really work? Asked Karura, worried about their plan.

" Don't worry Karura-san, I got everything on hand!"

The Konoha Ninja might not realize it, but from the start, they all were actually dancing in Chisaki's palm.

White Fang Sakuma was strong, they might not be able to win if they were to face White Fang in a fair one-on-one battle, but this was a war, so why would they face him fairly?

Sakumo Hatake or known as White Fang was a famous and powerful ninja of Konohagakure who, during his lifetime, held fame that was said to overshadow even that of the Sannin. He was the perfect strong guy as he not only possessed the strength but also the kindness that made him very popular amongst Konoha Ninja.

However, they forget one thing.

He was a perfect guy, but he was not the perfect commander.

The one mission that made Sakumo suicide had somewhat revealed Sakumo's character to Chisaki. A guy who treasures his companion more than his mission, if this was placed on the battlefield as a commander, then he would certainly possess a big flaw.

After a few hours of observing, Chisaki finally found a good chance.

On the battlefield, Led by Sakumo, Konoha's troop was able to repel Suna's troops.

One by One, Suna's shinobi were slaughtered or injured, and it would not be long until Konoha was able to win this battle.

However, Sakumo just couldn't take off that strange feeling inside of him.

Somehow, everything felt wrong here.

These Suna's ninjas, weren't they just far too weak?

Suna and Konoha had confronted more than dozens of times in the past six months, but it was the first time that Konoha was able to get a clean victory against Suna.

On this occasion, the morale of Konoha Shinobis was undoubtedly very high, but sometimes too high of morale could also be a boomerang.

Chisaki utilized the fact that Konoha morale was high into the sky, as he sneaked into Konoha's troop, disguising himself as one of Konoha Ninja, and then:

" Comrades, we have won the battle. Now let's occupy the base of that wicked Suna's ninjas!"

Chisaki threw his provocation.

If it was normal, the Konoha ninjas would surely notice something strange here, but today they were way too deep in euphoria.

One by One, people began to be affected by Chisaki's words, and soon the opinion of occupying Suna's camp resounded through the whole battlefield.

Sakumo soon realized that this was where all went wrong and was about to issue his command, but it was all too late by then.

Chiyo didn't give him a chance to as she tried her best to make Sakumo busy, and when everything was done, more than 70% of Konoha troops has gone to occupy Suna's camp.
