[ 1 week later ]

"alright, today i will be teaching you a very important lesson, it is about chakra control, chakra control is what determines your future limit in terms of ninjutsu" Asuma patiently explained to team 10, Ino and choji listened with full focus while Shikamaru was laying down in the grass and looking at the clouds.

"first of all, you 3 will be learning tree walking, this is when you use chakra as a kind of suction force on the bottom of your feet, but if you use too little chakra you will fall and if you use too much chakra you will get blown away" Asuma explained to team 10.

"i can't tell you how much chakra to use, this kind of thing mainly determined based on your preference as you could be better at chakra control then others, now get up and do it!" Asuma looked at team 10 and he shouted loudly, Shikamaru muttered something about troublesome, mean while Ino and Choji went to separate trees to train.

"ok!< i am Ino Yamanaka and i can do this!" Ino put a foot on the tree and like Asume sensei told her, she started to make a suction force with her chakra, Ino smiled as she felt her foot get stuck to the tree.

She tried to lift her leg and with some force it came off from the tree, so she did it again but this time with more chakra and suction, she tried this time again but with all her strength, seeing her foot barely come off from the tree, she knew she got it.

"and... 2!" Ino put her second foot on the tree and now she was looking at the sky, she let her chakra in one foot stop and she stepped forward, she then steped down and used tree walking on that same foot again, she then did this with the other leg as well, soon she was almost walking normally and she reached the top of the tree.

"yeah! i reached it HA HA HA -!" Ino shouted in excitement due to which her concentration faltered and her chakra was disruptedm Ino fell towards the ground and she closed her eyes in fear as she saw the ground inches from her face.

"Pheeww!, that was a close call" Ino felt her body get caught, she opened and she saw a worried Asuma look at her, she looked at the ground in shame, she was barely able to get to the top of the tree and she almost got seriously injured because of her mistake.

"s-sorry Asuma sensei...." Asuma smiled as he saw Ino look away in shame, he did not blame her as he knows how it feels when you gain a new ability, before she could not walk on trees, but now she suddenly can, it must be exciting.

"don't worry, everybody makes a mistake sometimes, even me, the important thing is to learn from those mistakes and never make them again, and when you look back you will realise that those mistakes are not a shame to look at, but the mark of the strong as it made them who they are in the future" Asuma smiled as he gently put Ino down.

Shikamaru and Choji who just arrived heard what Asuma sensei say, and they went into deep thinking, they now both have tried to use tree walking and there foot was blasted off from the tree, but suddenly they think they know what they should do to stop that from happening again, but most importantly.

"ino/Ino!, are you okay?" Shikamaru and Choji surrounded Asuma and Ino and asked in worried voices, Ino who looked at Asuma and her teamates, tears collected at the corner of her eyes.

"you guys... Hmph! i am okay i do not need your worry!" Ino turned around to not show the tears in her eyes and she walked to the tree again, Shikamaru and Choji smiled and went back to training, this time more determined then ever.

"these guys really learn from there mistakes huh?...." Asuma smiled as he looked at Ino who was now smoothly walking up the tree, and shikamaru and choji who is wobbly walking up the tree, it brought pride in him as he saw his students learn.

"you guys.... i am glad your my students" Asuma muttered under his breath as he looked at his students training hard, he then walked away witha smile, when he was a few hundred meters away he started his own training.

Puff!

"Asuma, are you ready for you tor- i mean training again?" Wukong smirked as he spun his staff, Asuma nodded with a smile, he is still just a novice that just knows how to swing a staff, with wukong teaching him, he can master the staff in weeks alone, as wukong has decades of experience with the staff.

"good!, here i come!" Wukong suddenly revealed a scary smile, his eyes turned white like a wild animal, his fur gained a kind of tainted colour of shiny brown instead of his sun like colour, with a step Wukong appeared in front of Asuma.

Asuma got ready to defend, but it was for not as he was smacked in his calf with the staff that weighed tens of pounds, his calfs buckled under the force, but he gritted his teeth as he commanded Ruyi to grow,

swoosh!

Wukong grinned as he made Ruyi small, just in time to smack Asuma;s strike to the side, Wukong then made Ruyi grow which then smacked Asuma in the stomach.

Bang!

a crater formed on the ground and fierce winds picked up as Asuma was pushed back by Wukong's Ruyi, he felt the force behind the hit and he puked blood, But Asuma gained a grin on his face as he looked at Wukong who was getting further and further from him.

"grow!" Asuma pointed Ruyi to the ground and he flew into the air like lightning, he then spun in the air and throw Ruyi bang at Wukong.

"huh?" Wukong was confesed at this but he still dodged, Ruyi bang slid past him and like a bomb it impacted the ground causing a smoke screen, Asuma smirked and with a thought Ruyi bang grow right into his hand from the ground.

"what!" Wukong suddenly felt a threat from his side, he fglashed out of the smoke and he looked into the air, there he saw Ruyi bang in Asuma's hand, Asuma quickly swiped Ruyi towards Wukong, causing the ground to be carved by the end of Ruyi still in the ground.

Booom!

the whole forest trembled as Wukong was hit, But wukong smiled as he put Ruyi on his side, he then increased the weight and width of the staff, Asuma's Ruyi bang impacted it creating a shockwave that traveled for hundred of meters, blowing the trees to the side and ripping some trees out with it's roots.

"Asuma.... THAT WAS AWESOME!, i never saw somebody ever throw a staff towards the enemy!" Wukong jumped towards Asuma with a huge grin on his face, Ruyi bang shrunk down and with lightning speed Wukong appeared in front of Asuma.

Bang!

Before Asuma can reacts he felt a strike to the side of his head, he was then thrown far away into the forest for tens of meters, breaking trees and stones along the way.

Boom!

team 10 who heared the sound just sighed, hese past few days they have already met Wukong, and they know that Asuma is definitely a masochist by now as he gets his ass handed to him daily.

"damn it, i lost again..." Asuma coughed out blood, when he increases his durability, it's not normal, the ninja world has very low durability as even a kunai can harm a kage level ninja, but Asuma noticed that when he increases his durability it's not just making his skin or bones stronger, but everything in his body, allowing him to take stronger strikes.

"don't beat yourself Asuma, after all due to you i have been growing stronger and stronger after each fight, you see i am not just a monkey with chakra, i am a monkey sage, the only one in my family and whole clan" Wukong said with a smile.

"monkey sage?, what does that mean?" Asuma asked confused as he still lay on the fground.

"the first ever monkey sage was the first ever monkey with spiritual energy, spiritual energy is limitless and the main energy of the universe, until chakra came, everybody started using chakra including the rest of the monkeys, except the monkey sage"

"the monkey sage disliked chakra as it was not a natural energy, it was made from absorbing the life force of the planet and it's spiritual energy, and so he never used chakra, this caused the first ever monkey to be special, it was like by the universe and spiritual energy, it kind of saw the monkey sage like it's son"

"but the monkey sage was thousands of years old by that time, it got bored off looking after it's off springs, he was also constantly surrounded by it's off springs that rather use chakra that hurt spiritual energy itself, and so he made it that he reincarnates in his main bloodline left in his off springs"

"and right now i am the current reincarnation of the monkey sage, my father Enma is a direct descendent of the monkey sages off spring, and this made it so that i will continue reincarnating if i do not wish to live anymore"

"that is.... something alright" Asuma looked at Wukong in surprise, he did not know thi was a thing in the naruto universe, but considering that kishimoto never went over the era before chakra, maybe this did happen.

"but what did you mean that you get stronger after each fight?" asuma asked wukong

"to make it clear i will explain it like this, spiritual energy sees me as it's son, so what do you do when you see your son get hurt?, you will try to do anything to heal him, spiritual energy sees me fighting you and it sees that i am struggling, so it helps me become stronger after each fight, until i do not have any opponents left, that is why the monkey sage was so bored"

"woah..." Asuma took in a breath as he listened, this monkey Sage must have been stronger then even Kaguya as from what he knows, spiritual energy is stronger and purer then chakra as it is nature itself.

"Wukong.... you are strong but i will beat you in the future, that's a promise" Asuma stood up and his eyes flashed as he looked at Wukong.

"i hope you do!" Wukong grinned as he stretched his clenched fist out, Asuma smirked and his fist met with Wukong, setting off another fight.
