Even though Michikatsu was the one launching a surprise attack, he was still struck by Nakamura's sword, resulting in a horizontal cut across his stomach.

"I would expect nothing less from a Jonin," Michikatsu remarked, despite being the one injured.

The blood flowing from his stomach suddenly transformed into spikes, which struck Nakamura directly. Nakamura, who had just regained his balance, couldn't react in time, and one of the spikes pierced his right leg.

Nakamura created some distance between himself and Michikatsu. "You can control your blood?" he asked in shock.

Michikatsu's wound healed instantly, and even his clothes, which had been torn, were completely repaired, as if he hadn't suffered a scratch from Nakamura.

"Isn't that obvious from my attack?" Michikatsu retorted.

Nakamura observed the three pots across the battlefield and thought to himself, "He can teleport using those pots." Then, as he looked at Michikatsu, he added, "Not only that, but he can also control his blood and heal his wounds quickly. This will be a tough battle."

With these thoughts in mind, Nakamura unleashed 'Fire Release: Fire Dragon Bullet.' In response to Nakamura's attack, Michikatsu employed 'Water Release: Water Formation Wall.' The two jutsu collided, releasing steam throughout the area.

Nakamura became alert, and just at that moment, with his sharp hearing and keen smelling ability, Michikatsu launched an attack on Nakamura. However, Nakamura was also an elite, allowing him to easily react to Michikatsu's attacks. Yet, due to the difficulty of seeing clearly, he refrained from making precise attacks on Michikatsu, considering the high likelihood that Michikatsu might employ his blood control ability to counterattack.

Soon, the steam dissipated, and Michikatsu came into view, holding a gun pointed at Nakamura. Just as Nakamura attempted to react, he heard a voice saying, "Go to sleep."

Nakamura was significantly affected by this and began to feel dizzy. "What's this? Is this genjutsu?" he wondered.

Nakamura promptly used chakra to jolt himself awake, preventing himself from falling asleep.

Just as Nakamura regained his senses, he spotted a bullet dangerously close to him. He swiftly formed a hand seal, causing the bullet to miss him and strike a wooden object that materialized in his place.

"Ah, yes, as a Jonin, you've mastered the 'Substitution Technique' to the point where you can use it with just one hand," Michikatsu remarked.

At that moment, Michikatsu turned his attention to his back, where Nakamura had appeared after employing the 'Substitution Technique.'

"You escaped the first time, but what about the second or third time? You should be feeling it by now," Michikatsu taunted.

Nakamura dismissed Michikatsu's words as mere bluff and leaped to the ground. However, as he landed, he nearly collapsed.

Nakamura was taken aback, as his right leg had gone almost numb. He looked at Michikatsu in shock, and in response to his surprise, Michikatsu said, "Go on, take a look."

Nakamura complied and tore his pants at the spot where he had been wounded by the blood spikes unleashed by Michikatsu. As soon as he did, he discovered that his entire leg had turned black. When he lifted his shirt, he noticed that the discoloration had also spread to his stomach.

"So your blood wasn't ordinary; it contained poison, right?" Nakamura inquired.

"Correct. Now that poison has spread throughout your body via your bloodstream, even if I were to fight you for the next 4 to 5 minutes, you would die solely from the effects of the poison. However, I'm not one to take risks, so please, just die," Michikatsu replied. He then vanished from his current position and reappeared behind a tree, employing the 'Blood Demon Art: Porcelain Vase Spells.' He fired a shot at Nakamura, who was standing in front of the tree.

Nakamura, now significantly weakened and struggling to react, was struck by Michikatsu's bullets. Despite being hit, Nakamura defiantly remarked, "It will take more than these ordinary bullets to harm me." He attempted to provoke Michikatsu, hoping to get close and use a technique.

"Oh, my apologies, it seems I didn't explain it to you. You're gravely mistaken if you think these bullets are ordinary; they're far from it," Michikatsu clarified.

Upon hearing this, Nakamura became quite confused. "Have you imbued these bullets with poison as well?" he inquired.

"Not at all. The poison inside your body is sufficient to kill you," replied Michikatsu. Suddenly, something resembling branches began to grow from the places on Nakamura's body where the bullets had struck him.

'Blood Demon Art: Vampiric Trees.' These branches were sprouting from Nakamura's body, using his blood to grow and embedding themselves in the ground, taking root. Weakened, Nakamura became even more helpless as the branches bound him, and he could only remain still as his life slipped away right before his eyes.

"I only have one regret, and that's not being able to carry out the orders given by the true protector of Konoha, who protects Konoha from the Shadows," Nakamura lamented.

"Better luck next time," Michikatsu responded.

And with regret for not being able to fulfill Danzo's orders, Nakamura met his demise.

"I'm always amazed by these ROOT ninjas. Despite all they endure under Danzo, they remain so loyal to him, like dogs," Michikatsu commented.
