Chapter 5 - Their Situation

[Many minutes after walking from interrogation building]

Walking for quite a long distance with Kakashi in front and Obito slightly behind him, then Itsuki and Akari who is looking around themselves. Lastly, Rin who is behind, suddenly staying quiet looking down. Then, when they arrive in front of their apartment room.

Kakashi : "Well, here The new living space for three of you." (Said Kakashi while showing an apartment with two room for three of them)

Akari : "It's quite good. I though since we're a villager that came out of nowhere we will put into ..." (Before Akari finished her word, Itsuki cut her off)

Itsuki : "Alright, stop there Akari. It's good enough that they treat a possible spy in such a place yet you went to comment on that."

Kakashi : "With Obito appearing and you guys wish to become shinobi. It's better to place you guys to place where people could easily find and reach if something gone wrong." (Explain Kakashi to them)

Obito : "Man, but i miss my home though. I wish at least i could visit my grandmother first."

Rin : "Obito, with your situation as it is..."

Obito : "Alright, alright, Rin. I understand. Possible betrayer right??" (Wave Obito cut off Rin's word)

Rin : "Obito." (Feel bad about Obito situation)

Kakashi : "For now three of you could unpack and take a rest first. After that we could take a look around."

Obito : "Heh, i don't need you to say that. For now i will sleep first." (Walk Obito to the first room)

Itsuki : "Then, you go sleep there Akari. I will sleep in the same room with Obito." (Point Itsuki at the other room)

Akari : "Ok." (Walk Akari to the room to unpack and rest)

Itsuki : "How about both of you??" (Ask Itsuki to Rin and Kakashi)

Rin : "Don't mind us. We will stay for a while."

Itsuki : "Then i will go to the room first." (Gone Itsuki to the first room)

Seeing three of them enter the room to take a rest. Kakashi signal for the other Anbu to take watch first. Now they're arrive and about to take a rest. Kakashi and Rin who watch over them also needed to go back first to take some of their belonging, so some anbu gonna watch over them for the first day. Knowing that, Kakashi goes walk and noticing Rin still staying quiet.

Kakashi : (Walk to the outside) "Rin."

Rin : "!??" (Hearing Kakashi call, surprised but follow him to the outside)

(Outside the apartment building)

While walking, Kakashi and Rin discuss about their situation

Kakashi : "What do you think Rin?"

Rin : "Kakashi, i...."

[1 hour ago before arriving at Interrogation Building]

Shicho : "Before we met them there is something i like to say to remind both of you." (Said Shicho facing Kakashi and Rin in other building close to Interrogation Building)

Rin : "What is is Shicho-san"

Shicho : "As you know count out the other two, with your friend already count as died in mission in shinobi record now suddenly come. It's already a sign that we don't know could count as blessing in disguise or calm before storm. Both of you seeing himself crushed half under rock inside cave yet somehow arrive here could rule out many possibilities, which is almost 9 out 10 in worst situation."

Rin : " But, that...." (Shock came upon Rin face)

Kakashi : "The most possible condition happen right now is, he is under disguise as Obito to infiltrate Konoha or someone save him in exchange to betray us."

Rin : "What are you saying Kakashi?! Aren't you happy that Obito came back to us alive?? Now you suddenly accuse him betray us??"

Kakashi : "Rin, i understand your worry. he also helped me before. Even right now, i hope i could give him back this eye right at this moment. But first and foremost we are shinobi and in war. We must never let our guard down in such situation."

Shicho : (Nod) "What your friend said is correct. It is rare but not impossible to find our close friend who already count as dead suddenly show up alive. But first we must understand either they are still a friend we know or was a friend we know."

Hearing their response make sadness fill up Rin's emotion. Here her teammates that actually alive. Yet, not only she can't welcome him to came back alive, she must wary and be on guard to him.

Shicho : "It's hard kid i know. But that is life. They came up and down make you weary. For now, when we enter the building, the report will come if they're in disguise. If yes, prepare yourself. If not, prepare your heart. Because you need to watch him over as stranger in mind."

Rin : "But, if he is not in disguise, why we should wary over him like that??"

Shicho : "The possibility that came if he is not in disguise is that he could betray us and sell our information or being controlled by someone without him noticing."

Kakashi : "Can that possibly done?" (Ask Kakashi hearing the latter part)

Shicho : "That's why it is called possibility. Out there, still have many kind of jutsu we don't know. Even something like Yamanaka clan mind jutsu, that maybe they could do remote and without other noticing."

Rin : "I See" (Said Rin slowly while feeling down)

Shicho : "So, until we know for sure both of them didn't come true, both of you can't show any excessive movement. When you worried about someone, there is another way than showing your emotion. You could watch over them and help them. Hokage doesn't stop you to interact. Just limit it." (Said Shicho to Rin, so she won't feel down anymore)

Kakashi : "Don't worry Rin. After Minato-sensei came back from mission, he can check the situation better compared to us." (Said Kakashi feels that Minato-sensei can solve the problem fast)

Shicho : "That is right. we will do what needed to do. But compared to us, Minato is still as skilled yet closer to you guys. In this situation, talking with people close to you is better compared to interrogator."

Rin : "Are you truly commander shicho-san?? How can you say things like that??" (Smile slightly hearing Kakashi and Shicho response)

Shicho : "I am one of shinobi commander. But i am still human. If my late teammate could suddenly came back alive, i would feel the same like you."

Rin : "I see, thank you Shicho-san."

Shicho : "Don't worry for now let's go to the interrogation room."

[Back to the present]

Rin : "I.. it's hard.... to act....like nothing happened....Kakashi." (Said Rin Holding back her tears) "I mean.....he...he.....came...back....to us....alive.....you....know. To Team Minato."

Silently Kakashi looking at Rin hearing her response

Rin : "Sorry...." (Said Rin while take a breath)

Kakashi : "Just...take your time Rin."

Rin : "It's..okay. I mean look at him, he lost his right hand, and from the way he said it, his right leg is a problem and what's more the organ in his right-side of body. It maybe worse."(Explode Rin emotion explaining to Kakashi her thinking)

Kakashi : "Rin"

Rin : "And here we treat him like just like stranger. Like nothing happened to him. I...."

Kakashi : "RIN."

Surprise came upon Rin's and she look at Kakashi who cut her conversation off

Kakashi : "Calm yourself. I know what you want to say, but this is what we must do. It's our mission to watch them. We are still on war. If we're not careful, our mistakes could led all of us become betrayer. Right now, we're his only ally and until Minato-sensei came back, we must hold ourselves.

Rin : "Kakashi." (Understanding came upon Rin situation)

Kakashi : "Shicho-san himself said, showing your emotion isn't the only way. Help him when he needed but limit yourself when helping him. I mean, even not in this situation, do you think Obito want your pity? Out of three of us here, he's feeling is the worse one. But, he could still all smile like that, why do you think? It's out of worry of him to us and know that such situation won't help him. He may be stupid, but he is not that stupid to forget our situation right now. Us helping him convince other that he is still the same Obito without bring more problem to us is the only way we could help him right now." (Explained Kakashi further to Rin)

Rin : "I....i...." (Surprised come more to Rin and ashamed of herself for not understanding the dire situation they are in and to make Kakashi explained so much, knowing that Kakashi don't like to talk much)

Kakashi : "For now, let's wait until Minato-sensei came back and help us to solve the problem. Until then, we must limit ourselves, so we won't bring any unnecessary problem."

Rin : "Alright, thanks Kakashi. I understand now." (Remember Kakashi answer enough for her to control herself and she wiped her face from tears)

Kakashi : (Nod seeing Rin control her emotion) "Go to your place first, take what you need. Then came back as soon as possible.

Rin : "Okay."
