Realisation and start of training

After 'talking' with Kushina Jiraya came inside the hot spring with swollen eyes and bleeding nose. He came near Minato and his sons who knew what would had happened outside and were nodding their heads.

Haruto and Naruto stayed asking more and more about Jiraya's adventures. Jiraya enjoyed this and told his heroic deeds to the children. After talking for so time they decided to go back home. Jiraya said that he would go on his journey and was about to part ways with them when Naruto and Haruto started pestering him to stay with them for a while.

Minato also liked this idea and also asked the same from his sensei. Jiraya was defeated after continuous pestering of his grandsons and decided to stay in the village for a while.

When they reached the village Naruto and Haruto parted ways with them saying they were going to play with their friends. Kushina told them to come back home before sunset. They nodded their heads in approval and went towards the playground.

When Minato and the others reached back their home Jiraya sat on the sofa followed by Minato and Kushina. Jiraya looked at them and asked, "who is this Haruto, I know that Naruto is your son but who is this Haruto?" Minato and Kushina heard his question and told him everything about Haruto.

Jiraya looked towards Minato and narrowed his eyes and asked seriously, "did you also see the seal on Haruto in the spring?" Minato became serious and nodded his head. Seeing them serious Kushina asked them, "did something happened to Haruto in the spring."

"There was a seal placed on Haruto's belly just like yours and Naruto's which is used to seal a Bijuu inside the body, but it is just a simple four path seal." Said Minato with a serious expression. Kushina thought for a while and said, "but he don't have chakra like any of the Bijuus present and I can feel them pretty easily because of my sensing capabilities." They thought for a while but left the topic saying that time will unfold what they do not know yet.

Later that day when Haruto and Naruto came back home Haruto was covered in bruises all over and Naruto had some scratches here and there. When Kushina and the others saw them they got worried and Kushina got panicked and came towards them and asked, "what the hell happened to both of you, who dared to do this to you?" Naruto heard her and looked at her while Haruto kept looking down and went towards his room and closed his door. Seeing this Minato got surprised because Haruto always follows Kushina's orders without any questions but today he simply ignored her. Same thoughts came in Kushina's mind as well.

She was about to go and bring a first aid box but she noticed that Naruto's injuries have already started to heal. Both Minato and Kushina looked at Naruto and asked at the same time, "what happened tell us now and why is Haruto acting like that."

Naruto looked at them and then nodded his head and said, "today we all decided to play ninja and I suggested to go in the forest to play, Haruto nii-chan told us that it would be dangerous but we decided to go and he was forced to come with us. While we were playing there were some noises coming from somewhere, Nii-chan told us that we should go back but we ignored him and went towards the direction from where the noises were coming from. We reached near a lake and started looking for the source of the noise."

Suddenly Naruto face got pale in colour and he had an horrified expression on his face. Kushina looked at him and then hugged him and said, "it's fine everyone is here with you, we will protect you." She consoled him for a while. Naruto got calmed and said, "when we were looking around a big bear suddenly appeared and started to attack us. We started running here and there in panic and it started chasing us. Nii-chan started to attack him to save us and was doing well when suddenly the bear launched an attack towards us and in order to protect us he took the hit directly and we all fell back because of the shock. The bear kept on attacking him for a while but he slipped through his grasp but was still unable to move. When the bear was about to attack him again a man older than him who nii-chan called Shisui saved him and killed the bear."

Naruto was crying and kept on saying apologies because he thought it was his fault. The parents comforted Naruto and he finally became unconscious because of exhaustion.

The next morning Haruto woke up early and prepared something for himself as he did not had anything last night. Jiraya woke up after sometime and saw Haruto. Jiraya went towards him and patted his shoulder and asked, "are you fine?"

Haruto looked towards him and nodded but didn't say anything. He prepared food for both himself and Jiraya and kept his share in front of him and he sat on the opposite side of Jiraya and started eating. Jiraya didn't asked anything and ate his food.

While they were eating Haruto asked, "Jiraya Jii-chan yesterday you told us that you trained dad, didn't you." Jiraya listening to his question nodded in approval.

Haruto then said, "yesterday after the incident I realised that I am not strong enough to protect someone important to me when they need me." Haruto paused for a while and then said, "I need to get stronger to protect them and not always depend on others to protect myself, Jiraya Jii-chan will you train me?" Haruto stood up and bowed deeply toward Jiraya.

Jiraya looked at him and thought for a while and then said, "why you are asking me when you can ask your dad to train you, he is the hokage you know the strongest person in the village."

Haruto looked at Jiraya and said, "he is the hokage that's why I cannot have him train me as it will disturb him a lot as he is always busy looking after the village and also you are the one who trained dad that means that you trained the hokage and knowing that I conclude there is no one around me who is better than you in training." Haruto was looking directly in his eyes with determination.

Jiraya smiled and said, "OK I don't have any problem taking you as my disciple but you have to be prepared as the training is going to be like hell."

Haruto nodded and was looking at him with a smile.

Jiraya then asked, "I am just curious but what you would have done if I have rejected you?" Haruto looked at him and said with a smile, "I would just have trapped you in my dimension and would have forced you to teach me if you would have rejected me, though it would be a lot more painful for you."

Jiraya looked at Haruto who was smiling but behind him one could see a devil. That day Jiraya made a mental note to never piss him as the consequences would be terrible for him.
