First Mission: Ambush - 5

[A few minutes ago]

When the Aburame were chasing Tsubame, they felt people coming from 5'O clock. They hid and got ready to engage. They saw one Aburame being chased by two fuma clansmen. The leading Aburame was the one leading the squad from their right side. He looked injured as his right side looked burned with scars. The fuma shinobis threw their fuma shuriken at him, which hit the target perfectly, then there was smoke and in place of Aburame was a log.

[Fuma Shinobi 1]: He should be around here, look for him. We took out his squad and most of his insects are dead due to our Fire-Wind combination jutsu. He would be the easiest Aburame to kill right now.

[Fuma Shinobi 2]: Yeah, He killed our squad member as well. We can not let him get away.

Aburame squad leader looked at his teammates and gave hand signals to prepare for an ambush, his squad members nodded. The squad leader left to look for the Aburame that was injured. He saw him hiding behind a tree. He moved towards him quietly. He noticed and took out a kunai to fight but when he saw who it was then he released a sigh and put down the kunai. Aburame squad leader came closer to inspect the wound, at the same time, the fuma shinobis were ambushed by his squad but they used Substitution Jutsu and hid. Now his squad and fuma shinobis were hiding nearby, each side trying to find another and take them out.

When Aburame squad leader was about to touch the wound.

[Injured Aburame]: Surprise m***** f*****.

He heard his clansmen whisper a cuss and he noticed that the kunai from before has already slit his throat. Before he could signal to his squad members, the injured aburame pushed him to the ground, sat above him and pushed the kunai to where his heart his. This was how he died.

[Injured Aburame]: One down, two to go.

The injured Aburame then transformed into the Aburame he just killed and vanished from the spot.

One Aburame squad member was hiding, he has spread some of his insects to one direction and was trying to smoke the fuma out. Suddenly he noticed something, when he turned he saw his squad leader. The squad leader gave signals that the injured Aburame was dead. When he heard that he was sad. His squad leader then gave him signals to be bait, The squad leader said he will take out any fuma member who attacks him. He trusted his squad leader so he nodded without exception. The squad leader gave signals to him that he also spread his insects out and he knows the location of one of the fuma shinobi. He signalled to come closer so that he can tell the plan in detail. The Aburame sqad member came closer making sure that he is not noticed. The squad leader started to draw a map on the ground and pointed to it, the Aburame looked at the map, for some reason, although the map was telling about their location and where the fuma might be, the picture on the ground looked like a d**k.

[Aburame-squad-leader]: Surprise m***** f*****.

That was the last thing he heard before dying. Kouske did the same thing with the remaining Aburame. After he was done, he undid the transformation, came out and yelled.

Kouske: Its done. Come out both of you.

But no one came out.

Kouske: I SAID COME OUT, DO NOT WASTE TIME.

[Fuma-shinobi-1]: We are not falling for that easily, if you are really our sqad member tell us the password.

Kouske: Ok, you guys are being smart. I will applaud you for that but there was no password so this is a bluff. Now that I told you that we have not discussed any password so come out.

[Fuma-shinobi-2]: You just guessed, tell us what was the last thing we talked about before we discussed our ambush plan.

Kouske: grrrr....Sigh, You are in 2'O clock and 10'O clock, 12 meters from me. Before we talked about our ambush plan, I asked for water because I pushed my throat too far. Happy now. Now get here and lets move on, our allies are having trouble. I have another plan to get us out this skirmish alive.

When they heard that both came out with expression that said they were sorry.

Kouske: I am not angry. Actually, you were smart. Now let's get moving.

Then all three of them started to move and Kouske started to talk about his plan of turning into Uchiha and scare the enemies away.

Kouske: After that you saw us approach as Uchiha and you know the rest.

Kouske did not tell about his "Surprise m***** f*****" thing. He did not wanted to have his already bad impression become worse.

Tsubame: You did good.

Fuma squad leader came to them and he was not happy.

[Fuma-squad-leader]: Tsuchimikado-sama wants to reach his castle as soon as he can. We are leaving right now. Everybody get ready.

The fuma squad leader was not happy that he was not allowed to pursue but after getting new orders he started to act on it. The caravan started leaving and reached their destination in 2 days, there was no other ambush. When they entered the town that was the domain of the diamyo, they saw that the town was not doing well. The people looked at the carriages passing and their eyes were filled with hatred.

[Kouske-inner-thought: Looks like this diamyo is not popular with his people.]

They reached the castle and entered then the diamyo and his family disembarked.

Tsuchimikado: Finally, I am home. We are gonna have a meeting to discuss about the war plans in tomorrow. I am also sending my messengers to contact the Uchiha clan. We are gonna need them to come out on top. They should reach us tomorrow. In the meantime, you guys discuss among yourself how are you gonna do the protection duty around the castle. Your meals will be arranged and a servant will confirm to inform you. Now then, excuse me, I need to talk to my advisors and do some work.

The diamyo left.

[Fuma-squad-leader]: Okay, Now I will tell how we are gonna keep watch in shifts. Kouske I was told about how you performed by my people. To be frank, I do not approve how you handled the mission, still, the fact that we survived is something that I can not deny. You are on first watch because we have people who have almost depleted all of their chakra. So, they need to rest first. The shifts will be 4 hours each, during each shift, there will be one sensor so that we would not be surprise attacked. Two of my people will be on watch with you. If you sense anything you are to report first. Understood?

Kouske: Understood.

[Fuma-squad-leader]: Good. Now those that are not on watch, I would suggest that you eat and rest. I will tell who will be keeping watch in the next shift after I discuss some details with Tsuchimikado-sama, specifically, about the coming war. I will see you in an hour.

The fuma squad leader left. Kouske looked at the fuma clansmen on watch with him and discussed how they are gonna keep watch, who to report if he notices something, which areas to focus on etc.

He completed his shift and it was already midnight. He was really tired. He went to the room assigned to him after eating his food and just fell on the bed. The feeling of killing another overwhelmed him and he could not sleep. He started weeping about how many he killed and how many he would kill in the future. He stopped himself from weeping and somehow was able to fall asleep with some difficulty.
