ReRemembering

As he waits for the gates to the school to open he starts to reminisce about his current situation and plans for the future.

Yeah, that's right, I'm currently in the naruto universe quite obviously. I was born to normal civilian parents that run a weapons shop together. My father Arata Gojo is a blacksmith hailing from the Hidden Cloud Village, he came to the Hidden Leaf Village simply for his respect and admiration for the God of Shinobi: Hashirama Senju. He also came for his dream as well which was to create a weapon fit for the strongest shinobi God.

Unfortunately, Hashirama is already dead by this point since Tobirama Senju is Hokage right now but that doesn't stop his dream to create the best weapon he can. My mother Eri Gojo hails from the Hidden Mist Village since according to both her and lore from what I remember the Hidden Mist Village just sucks ass. She couldn't handle the barbaric and cruel way the village is run. So she fled through multiple small villages before she ended up in the Hidden Leaf Village.

Here she found my father trying to open a blacksmith but couldn't due to not having enough funds. So my mother decided to help since she is from a merchant family, they made a deal and that's how Gojo Armaments was created. My father creates the weapons and my mother is the shopkeeper selling the weapons he creates. After spending some time together they slowly got together and that's how I was born.

He sighs and whispers to himself to stave off the boredom and loneliness "Currently from what I remember and the information that I have gathered the 1st Shinobi world war is still ongoing. This was also around the same time the 3 Sannin were born since in the series it's shown that Hashirama knew Tsunade as a kid. He is now dead and Tobirama is now Hokage but by the time the 3 Sannins graduates to gennin which is around 4 years from now. Team Sarutobi is formed and he was already the 3rd Hokage by that point."

If we use logic then the 1st world war should have ended by that point with Tobirama dead and Sarutobi made Hokage. Since it's stupid to have the Hokage have a gennin as a team in a WORLD WAR. That then leaves me with around 4 years to prepare myself, now what would I prepare myself for you might think. Well, we have to summarise me first, before I found myself in a fictional universe I was just a normal guy with a normal job. I came home every day to enjoy myself in anime, movies and games just like most other people. I knew of Naruto in my universe obviously but I wasn't a hardcore fan that knew everything.

I just watched the anime and read the end of the manga but here is the problem, in my universe the series has ended for quite a few years and instead the abomination known as Boruto exists. If we circle back to me then the real problem is that on top of being a casual viewer and fan of the series, I don't remember most of it since it's been years since I last interacted with the Naruto series. The fact that I was also born DECADES before the canon timeline doesn't help either.

So most of my information is useless and packaged with a civilian family with no access to the shinobi world makes me incredibly weak. I have next to no individual and political power since I'm not an Uchiha, Hyuga, Senju or Uzumaki. My family is relatively rich amongst civilians but wealth without power is incredibly dangerous so I can't rely on money too much, it still helps but it's not enough in a world with aliens that can destroy entire planets.

Still, there are positives aspects to being normal and that is that my family will be safe, it might sound counterintuitive but civilians are on average safer in the shinobi world than shinobi themselves since they have to go on and do dangerous missions while civilians can just live their entire lives inside the walls of the village free from the conflict and wars of the shinobi world. That's unfortunately only the case inside the 5 biggest villages while the smaller villages are the complete opposite where without power you can only bow down to those that have it.

On a more positive note, even though it is weird to be a kid again and have a different family they are still that, my family, and I will do everything in my power to protect them and make them happy. And since I'm here in a fictional universe with amazing characters that I love, I always wanted to do something which I think all fans can agree with, use the information of the future to make it better. I'm sure everyone has had at least once in their lives daydreamed about existing in their fictional universe of choice and change it for the better. I'm no different and since I'm here now I might as well make the best of it not just for myself but also for everyone else or at least try to.

Continuing with the positive note the biggest advantage that I do have is time, even though I have no gold finger, system, bloodlines or help no matter how much I want even just one of them, I do have time and a lot of it. This is how I'm going to change the Naruto universe, accumulation through time and knowledge of the future.

But that's easier said than done since I was born in a normal family I have to act normal as well since there is a world war going on and there could be spies anywhere. That means that I can't unlock my chakra as that is just plain suicide not just because I don't know how to do so but also since everyone in power is paranoid and a normal kid who has unlocked his chakra is suspicious no matter how you see it.

"Skreeech,skrrrrech"

"All first-year students are to keep quiet and follow me, all your questions will be answered later!" bellows a grown man with the Konoha headband to everyone rousing Jin from his thoughts.

"Well, looks like I can finally start my plans!" Jin snickers evilly.
