"...still haven't tried learning the hiding like a mole technique?" Hiroshi could hear the incredulity seeping into Ren's voice.

"Buzz off," Hiroshi lazily waved his hand at him, he was too tired at the moment, since he went through with the latest upgrade to his hidden stats, he has once again upped a level on his resistant weights. Currently, he was alternating between getting his proficiency in Body Flicker Technique up while also going through physical conditioning to get his stats up.

'With the speed with which I am accumulating Exp, I should be done with the Body Flicker technique soon, it's a D-rank jutsu so its max level should be 5 or 10 right?'

[Body Flicker Technique (Active) Lv-3, 13 CP/use]

A movement technique that allows the user to move at twice their max speed by invigorating their calf muscles with chakra. The burst of speed lasts for a short instance and trying to extend this duration could in turn damage your muscles.

Along with the increase in range and decrease in the amount of chakra used per attempt, the number of seals needed to successfully use the jutsu went down as his understanding increased. It was a bit weird, he could do the jutsu using the full set of seals, that way he could better control the jutsu and his range increases, but he could also concentrate a little more on guiding his chakra and skipping a seal and he could still pull off a perfect flicker.

He wasn't completely sure that the system-thingy just removed the need for him to do all the seals, or that his chakra control was good enough and thus he was able to reach enough proficiency to do the jutsu by guiding along his chakra.

'It's really not game-automated, I still need to concentrate and do the proper seals while guiding my chakra, it's a weird blend of game-like mechanics with real physics? chakra theory?'

"...you get your head out of your ass?" Ren interrupted his thought process so he turned to the gruntled genin.

"What?"

"You're such an ass..." Ren flopped over as he stood up, "I was asking if you wanna swing by to get some food at Takchaku's before the patrol?"

"Nah, you go, I still need to go another couple of rounds of physical conditioning." At the mention of Hiroshi's overworked routine, Ren pulled a face before his eyes glanced towards his legs where the two leg warmers were located.

"You need to get a proper consultation with a taijutsu specialist, and maybe a scan of your muscles, you are exercising like crazy and you are going to overwork yourself." He spoke as he dusted his ass.

"Yeah, yeah I got it, I'm gonna submit my taijutsu style to the village, I'm pretty sure someone would evaluate me when I submit it to the village, I'll talk to him then." Hiroshi waved his hand again, it was an old habit and he didn't really care enough to actually change it.

"Wow, so you are going to exchange it for some merit!" Ren spoke, his eyes sparkling at the thought of getting enough merit to exchange for more fire jutsus so he could blow more shit up. Many people exchange insights they gained into some jutsu or sometimes even a newly created jutsu to the village for merit points. These merit points could then be used to exchange for other jutsu's in Konoha's jutsu reserve, or even be directly exchanged for money, though to be honest nobody does that.

Normally genins' are not allowed to exchange with insights and they could only do that once they get promoted to chunin, but anyone can do the exchange with a Jutsu that does not exist in Konoha's Archive. Most probably, people get enough merit to exchange for 2 of the same class of the exchanged jutsu. For example, his Taijutsu style, if the evaluator gave it a C-Rank rating, then he could potentially exchange it for 2 C-rank ninjutsu's.

Though in hindsight he didn't want to donate his taijutsu style to the village and let anyone have an answer book to his personal taijutsu style, but he doesn't think he could improve it without outside help, and if by any chance he figured out a way to upgrade it in a simulation, whether because of a trait or because he convinced Might Guy to improve on it, he would have to waste a simulation opportunity to just learn a skill where on the other hand he could get valuable points from that simulation to upgrade his foundations.

So he was out of options, unless of course, he could ask Might guy in reality to look at his taijutsu style...

'Yeah right... I don't want to do it...'

Yeah he was a bit of a pussy when it came to confronting the main characters of this world, it was a psychological block that he knew he had but couldn't do much about it, okay maybe he could but he didn't want to?

Although it was originally so because he didn't want any unwanted attention before, because being a genin in the reserve force, he didn't want that kind of company.

'But I guess I couldn't always stay out of the limelight right... for fucks sake I would have to battle Gaara of the fucking Desert in the chunin exams coming up if nothing else changes, come to think of it, if I hypothetically manage to defeat him, how majorly would I fuck up the timeline, because then Suna won't agree to attack Konoha considering their trump card, hail mary, won't be in Konoha... no wait for that all three of the Suna siblings would have to be defeated in the preliminaries...'

"...you're weird dude," Ren spoke shaking his head as he started walking towards the trees, Hiroshi was pretty sure that he had a vessel popping on his forehead as he shouted back,

"Yeah like you totally weren't daydreaming about getting a lucky hit and having enough merit points to exchange every fire jutsu in Konoha's archive..."

"You're still weird..." Although it was a lame comeback, still Ren got the last word before he vanished into the tree line. Hiroshi stood up with a deflated sense of righteousness that he channeled into doing more pushups and sprints around the clearing.

'I still need to grind for those stats...'

AN/ On time today!! Woohoo!! Anyway, I'm going to be introducing a little bit of Chakra theory and a lot of Fuinjutsu...
