I am standing right now in front of the ninja academy and the field around it is HUGE. While I am one of the children of the clans so being in the academy is sure but they still have to do the placing and for that, we are gonna have a little test today, the thing is, this will happen only between clan members.
the ninja academy is actually a three-story building of peach colour and what surrounds it is a big field which is divided into three sections, with three different running grounds, shuriken and kunai training practice and other places for practising.

" Kuroko, I have trained you for two years and now its time for you to show your progress so make your father proud, will you ?" while Hizashi said this, he himself knows how strong am I, so it isn't all that big of a problem to him.
"of course father, I am kind of looking forward to this,"
actually, I was really kind of looking forward to this, I haven't made any friends this whole year and the one previous to that, and the only people I know properly are the housemaids which are NOT so much of friends.

My father has kinda left me and is standing in the parent's sections and in front of me is a BIG line of children of different shapes and sizes whose chakra is about to be checked.
"Hello, my name is Shizumaka Inuzuka,are you excited about this, I am telling you I am gonna ace the said exam"
his brown eyes bore into me and he looked way too excited, I mean way too much, his height was somewhere around mine only and his brown spiky hair looked like he used the gel on them or something, seriously, how the heck do people even have spiky here.
though it didn't look bad in any way.
"of course, I am excited but nonetheless, let me introduce myself my name is Kuroko Hyuga," I say with a neutral face.
"so, did you know my dad said, that there will be some taijutsu test here and I already prepared for that hehe"
"oye Inuzuka, don't tell others what will be happening here, it's our way to ace this exam and didn't you just meet him,"
Another voice said as I looked to find a girl around the same age as ours with looks matching the Inuzuka kid. Just hair a little longer and some changes on the face and they might look almost the same.
"hehe, sorry Shizu, but looks like I made a friend before the academy ever started"
oh, so this girl's name is Shizu, huh, and what is with the angry look on her face, she just looks adorable, I mean c'mon, these girls would be around the age of my daughter if I ever had any in the first place, nonetheless, its the emotions what matter.
and so we all started having a conversation about, whether chakra is even important or not, well I was just mostly spectating and bobbing my head a few times but hey, I still made friends alright, even if it's with people 1/5 my actual age...
and so I reached the checking booth where different people dressed in ninja attire and headbands on their forehead were standing.

"Kuroko Hyuga" I came forward to the bulky six feet man and he put his hand on my stomach for checking my chakra quantity without any facial expressions, he wrote the marks and sent me forwards.

The next training ground was made in a form of a track, a big marathon track to be exact.
groups of ten children were made and I was in the third group while the Inuzuka twins were in the fourth.
I looked around me to find children of Uchiha's, Akimitchi and other clans and no I could not find Itachi yet, sigh, when will I get my protagonist aura, the heck do I even have one at all?
the race was just a one-lap place as time was of matter and what they were checking is not stamina but the explosive speed and athletism of the child, of course, the Kurama clan and Yamanaka clan had special passes.
As I took the sprinting stance of mine which was just putting my right leg a little behind, and as the whistle rung I quickly accelerated, I lowered my centre of gravity and completed the one lap in around 5.5 seconds, a record which anybody hasn't made yet, of course, a certain Uchiha has yet to come but I don't know his level yet.
as I went to the third round, there were a lot of people here.
And as my chance came, I took around 10 kunai's and throw them one by one and all of them hit the target.
my total score was 28.5/30, I dont know where they took the 1.5 but they can't exactly give a full, I know I wasn't something so great that it could shock all the people here. I still came first though.
And by the time I was getting out of there, I saw the second score, 27.5, name- Itachi Uchiha.
and I did the only thing I could when I saw that,
I smirked.
