Nate couldn't believe it for the next few moments, as he stood while looking at the place the portal was once was.

His plan of attack had worked and Ozzie is now on the other end of the portal. Whether he was still alive or dead, Nate had no idea but he was sure if Ozzie died from his attack, the system surely notify him.

Nate know that a punch from him even with his bloodline infused would not be able to lift Ozzie to his feet, but he soon figured out another way he can do things.

With the chain in Ozzie's body, what Nate did was to distance himself from Ozzie, creating a large space. With the retracting ability of the chains and how fast it was, Nate planned to combine all his power full skills such as the vortex punch, and hammer punch. Then he also supported his speed with the light foot skill, shooting himself out like a catapult.

When he hit Ozzie, a loud bang was heard as Ozzie fit was lifted off the ground and started flying towards the portal. Luckily, no beast was coming out yet to obstruct his trajectory as he went through the portal.

Meanwhile, Nate would have gone along with him if not for his chain dagger that reacted on instinct. They detached from Ozzie's body and stabbed the ground outside the portal pulling Nate out from it.

Immediately, Leo was gestured to close the portal and he did so before falling in exhaustion.

Still in a daze about whether it was over, the system list of notifications soon snapped him out of it.

Suddenly, a loud ear-piercing roar was heard from the distance. Everyone looked at where it came from only to find Lyon barely holding the demon-level beast back.

"Peter... Help the others to clear the beast while I deal with this," Nate said.

Peter nodded and rushed off to the other beasts that were still causing problems, especially the bad beasts that have arrived earlier.

The beast was busy taking down the plane's chopper that was sent to assist in the fight.

Although someone was already doing the job which was none other than Twain, still a little help from Peter is what he didn't mind.

Meanwhile, Lyon has already gone off towards Lyon. It was evident that he, Peter and lyon or even Bull are the only ones capable of taking down such a beast.

This also made Nate wonder why Lyon have yet to transform into the beast. After all, lyin only gets stronger based on how strong beasts he has seen or fought with are and the beast before them no doubt was strong since its capability was something not that far from Ozzie at his peak.

'Now that I can use the bloodline power on myself, I think this might be the opportunity I needed to test it out,' Nate thought as this, he was already doing so.

Meanwhile, the rise in energy from Nate attracted quite an attention to him and that was the demon beast that suddenly looked at him.

Not even wanting to know whether Nate was a friend or a foo, the beast opened its large mouth and spout out fire like a dragon.

Nate didn't dodge, instead, he used raised his hand and blocked the fire. When the fire gets closer to his fist, it will disappear into nothing, or one could say the energy covering Nate's body was simply absorbing the fire.

Nate leapt close to the beast's neck fast and slashed his sword across the neck. Like a hot knife, the sword slices off a chunk of flesh leaving a deep wound behind.

In pain, the beast roared and swung his claw backwards at Nate who was still airborne. Unfortunately, it was blocked by Nate with his ice shield.

Regardless, he was still flung backwards into the sky. But this was a good thing for him.

Taking advantage of the fall, Nate performed his vortex punch at the beast sending it crashing down on the floor.

It was red and even just holding it alone, Nate could feel the heat from the crystal.

Just, he could hear the sound of someone approaching him. Looking at who it was, he found out it was Lyon.

"Knock it off... Do you think I will wait until after the fight to take such beast DNA?" Lyon said as he pulled out a syringe filled with red bubbling liquid.

"Wait... You had the DNA... Then why didn't you use it?" Nate asked confused.

"If I had... I would be dead by now... Although you can't sense it, I can tell that this beast's life force is just too strong for me to handle... It's either I eat the crystal now and then use the syringe now, or wait till I have enough life force to contain such a monster," Leo said.

Nate was at a loss for words, of course, he also need the beast crystal, after all, who knows when next they will be meeting such a legendary beast to fight with.
