Finn's P.O.V

"The girl needs to join the clan, that is her purpose." yells Dominic, he was the head vampire of the clan.

"I already told you she's not ready."

"She needs to get ready fast, Finn," says Dominic more aggressively.

"She has a life, a band and a fiance, she can't just leave all that behind."

I can easily undo that little favor I did for her parents," Dominic snaps.

"I will get her soon." I walk away from my family, who has already been frustrating me for some time.

The clan was made up of 3 boys and two girls. Myself, Dominic and Cedric, and the girls Cassandra and Blair. They were mates to Dominci and Cedric. It is hard seeing them kiss and hug all the time, and yet I am left behind with no one.

Dominic and Cassandra's relationship inspires me. They are so in love, and you can see it every time they look at each other. They are never apart.

Cedric and Blair on the other hand, I'm not even sure if they belong together. They are constantly fighting and at each other's throat. I guess it's a love and hate relationship, but it works out in the end.

I fell in love with Rosabella the first moment I saw her. She is rough around the edges. Loud spoken, but good-hearted. I saw the horror in her eyes, when I revealed that she must be a member of the clan. She was deeply disturbed that her parents sold her off. By watching her devastation, I would have lost a piece of my own soul if vampires had souls.

When a vampire finds the one true mate. Their eyes change from red to golden brown when they see them. My eyes have been brown for awhile. No one can take Rosabella's place. I love her with all my heart. Even though it doesn't beat anymore, she put a heartbeat inside of me.

I follow her everywhere, slightly keeping her safe. Though Rosabella is no defenseless little girl. I saw her in many fights, and she's always the last one standing.

I sit in the living room. I turn on the TV and hear the news man talk about The Destroyers show. I smile when they show pictures of her on the screen. She is beautiful, completely honoring her name's meaning.

"Are you going tonight?" Cassandra asks me.

"Well duh," I say with a laugh.

She laughs too. She was like a sister to me. We tell each other everything. It has been hard for Dominic and I to maintain a close relationship since the Rosabella situation. The clan has rules we must follow. We are never allowed to turn someone in a vampire without an exchange, a deal or favor. It must be fair to both sides. We want to keep a low-key profile so we can stay here. That means no killing rampage.

Dominic embalms people at the funeral home, so when he drains their blood, he sends it home for us to drink. We still eat and no one dies. How clever?

We are not just your average vampire Clan. All of us hold magic powers. Dominic struck a deal with the Devil himself.

"I better get going", I kiss Cassandra on the forehead.

"Be safe tonight, no funny business," she laughs, showing her dimples.

I nod and head for the door. My powers allow me to zip myself to the theater where the band was performing. I head to the sound and light control room, where I sit in the chair pretending like I belong there.
