Rosabella 's P.o.v

My name is Rosabella Green. I live in Bozeman, Montana. It's a beautiful place full of mountains. Bozeman is one of the largest cities in Montana.

When I was 19, Finn first came to me. He told me the truth about my disturbing past. My parents sold me to the Vampire Clan, because my mom had cancer and needed a magical cure. I understand my parents didn't want me, being an orphan that was perfectly clear. I am truly shocked that they would give me up to save my mom. But I can't be disappointed they did, because it did indeed save her life.

Now I am 21. I convinced myself that Finn was just an illusion, an imaginary friend I needed to get through foster homes. I am engaged to my boyfriend of a year. He is perfect in every single way, but we have a rocky relationship. His name is Josh. Yet I can't shake Finn from my mind. He told me that I was destined to be with him forever, whatever that meant.

" Rosabella," calls Jeffrey. He is the drummer in my band. I'm in a band called Destroyers. I am the lead vocalist. You have Jeffrey on drums. Mark and Sony on Guitar.

"Sorry, daydreaming again." I brush the hair from my face.

I look around, and the bright light from the theater shines on my eyes. My eyes count every chair, soon they will be packed with many screaming fans.

I hear the band start to play. I grab the microphone, I am instantly transported to my happy place.

"You say you love me, but you left. I should have seen it coming, nobody stays, lost in my sorrow and consumed by hate.Don't you know you make me sick?" I scream these words into the microphone. The drums bang loudly behind me. The guitar players bob their heads up and down.

Soon the song is over, and my body was covered in sweat. "Good run boys." I look around at the band members, and they also wipe sweat from their foreheads.

"Let's all go home and get some rest," says Sony.

"I can second that," laughs Mark.

The band members start leaving. I see Josh walking into the theater. He is a Dentist. He must be on his lunch break.

"Hey you," he smiles at me.

" How's the day in the office going?"

"Perfect," he smiles.

"Are you coming to the show tonight?"

"I will try, baby, I have a lot of paperwork to fill out and such," he tells me.

I nod. I try not to show my disappointment. This is the third show he's missed this month.

"You look upset", he says, brushing the hair away from my face.

"I am fine." Sharing my feelings has never been easy for me, so I do it through music.

He brings his lips to mine and kisses me gently. The taste of his lips calms my anxiety. I rely on Josh a lot to keep me level headed. I know it's a bad thing.

When our lips pull apart, he looks into my eyes. My heart still skips a beat even after all this time.

"Be good to night, no trouble Rosie," he narrows his eyes at me. Rosie was my nickname. I never liked Rosabella. Rosie is my stage name too.

" I can make no promises. I roll my eyes.

"I am serious, I am running out of bail money and you're running out of second chances," he tells me, pointing his finger at me.

I nod my head. I know I need to get my act together, but somehow I can't seem to do that.

He turns to leave, and I steal one last kiss. "I love you."

"I love you too," he replies.

I watch him until he leaves. Once he is going, I reach down and grab a cigar from my bra. I promised him I would stop smoking, but it's something that I'm not able to do. I will just do it while he is gone. Which is a good majority of the time.

By the time I left, it had already been several hours. I walk toward the parking garage, get on my motorcycle, and drive towards a hotel that I have been temporarily calling home for the past few weeks.
