Alex hadn't checked his status in a while, and there was a lingering curiosity about the progress he might have made in enhancing his skills and strength.
'Now, I can confidently claim that I can at least one-shot an E-rank monster. Although I am uncertain against a D-rank one, I believe I can still kill it and emerge relatively unharmed. Let's check that quest completion notification also.'
In the midst of today's endeavors, Alex had successfully completed the Main Quest. However, amidst the thrill of killing monsters, he had become so engrossed that the accomplishment slipped his mind until this very moment.
Without hesitation, he summoned the system and accessed his status and checked the pending notifications.
Upon reviewing the information, a wide grin spread across his face, as if he had stumbled upon a secret treasure.

Throughout the day, he focused solely on hunting E-rank monsters, never pausing to explore, directly venturing into the red zone where only E-rank or D-rank monsters could be found.
With the main quest rewards added to the mix, he had amassed a considerable amount of system points. Now, at last, he could allocate these points to enhance his strength.
'Hmmm, what should I upgrade first? Let's open the shop, and then I'll decide what to buy and upgrade.'
Upon opening the system shop, Alex immediately navigated to the Physical tab, as he was lacking in that area compared to his magical prowess.

Upon implementing all these upgrades, Alex experienced a sudden transformation in his physique. His body seemed lighter and more flexible, accompanied by a newfound, invigorating energy.
It felt as though a warm current of vitality had entered his body, rendering him blissfully energetic and powerful.
In this moment, an intense desire to work out and channel this surge of energy consumed him.
Externally, noticeable changes manifested as well. His body appeared significantly healthier, radiating vitality. A healthy glow enveloped him, and his muscles now exuded a robust and powerful demeanor.

Unaware of how much of a blessing it was to possess a high regenerative body, not to mention the option to increase it, Alex grumbled.
In this mana-filled world, recovery was faster compared to Earth, but it wasn't instantaneous.
For a regular individual, even a minor cut would naturally heal within two or three days. If the person was powerful, filled with mana and vitality, the healing process would be even swifter.
The rare race with an extraordinary ability for ultra-high regeneration was the vampires. Their regenerative capabilities were so advanced that even severed limbs could grow back over time, albeit not instantly unlike for humans.
If a human faced a severed limb, they would need an extremely potent and advanced healing potion or the assistance of at least an A-rank healer to reattach it.
Though this upgrade might seem minor, in the long run, it would make a substantial difference. Only through firsthand experience of its effects would Alex come to understand its importance.
It's worth noting that the HP mentioned by the system wasn't solely his health but encompassed various factors.
Upon revisiting his status, Alex finally sighed in relief, noticing a visible upgrade.

As always, a familiar face awaited him, smiling and waving from the academy gates. Upon seeing Aurora, a smile spread across Alex's face as he entered and shared the details of his day with her.
Aurora's smile widened more than usual. "You look different, more glowing and brighter." she exclaimed, eyes widening. "Did something good happen?"
Alex chuckled as he recounted his day to her, explaining the upgrades he had made.
While boarding the taxi and arriving at the academy, Alex had been fatigued and drained, but now he felt brimming with energy and vitality.
Expecting to doze off upon returning, the opposite occurred due to the upgrades that filled him with newfound vitality. Throughout the night, he was partially awake and woke up earlier than usual the next morning.
After completing his daily training regimen and enjoying a hearty breakfast, he left the academy to be promoted as an E-rank adventurer.
The day was bright, and Alex was determined to raise his targets, setting his sights on a D-rank monster.
