Chapter 60: Surely, You Also Think This is Insane, Right?

"How many of yours will come?"

Remelia nods understandingly, "So that's what you were curious about. You'd be happy to know that it's not that few as anyone had in mind."

No, it's the opposite. I'm not happy.

"I will call a whole army, that'd is suffice for now."

A whole army? "And, you're planning to let them stay in this room?"

That'd be insane.

"Yes."

She is insane.

Remelia shrugs half-heartedly, "The room won't fit all of them, until we do something about it." She glances at Bobo and gets a nod. "See, we can deal with it. She's always made something impossible, possible. You can, can you?"

"Of course, my Queen," her voice is still hoarse, "I can make an arrangement for a thousand bodies in this room."

I squint my eyes to see what they're planning but fail. "Just," I sigh, There's no world where I can convince them to stop something this big. "Don't make it too odd for the school."

Too odd is probably an understatement.

"What do you mean by odd? Like a castle?" Remelia guesses. "For Lucifer's sake, my maid is not that stupid. She will solve this mathematically silent."

Mathematically? Silent?

"That also won't be a problem," the maid starts, "I will keep the shape of the room and only temper with the inside."

"Good," Remelia nods satisfied. Her eyebrows raise at me as if to say, see?

"May I ask you a question, my queen?" This comes from Bobo. There's a hint of fear behind her throat.

Remelia fans herself, "Make it the most, I don't want to hear any question for today again from you."

"I understand," Bobo's eyes wander around the room and back to her queen, "Are we going to stay here?"

Remelia scoffs and blinks hard, "I understand where you're coming from, Bobo. I know the existence of the castle you and the others have prepared for this moment. And the mansion, exiled from our enemies' suspicious eyes. And other place that'd look fitting for a noble kinds, vampire's," Remelia leans forward to pick up a Queen chess piece on the board and leans back again. Her finger rolls the piece as her red eyes stare at her back on it. "Here may be a contrast of my kinds."

She puts the Queen back on the board, besides the king, together with its people. The red nails point at me, "Where I am is where he is. And if he had an obligation to stay in this place then I am also obligated to feel the same. I will be where my people are. Also, it's also the perfect place to stay away from the enemies' suspicious eyes. Who would have thought our operation was running in a school?"

Bobo nods with shame. Her dark hair covers her face for a moment before she sweeps tem to the side again. "I should have known. My apologies my queen."

Remelia stretches her arms up and grunts, "Anyway, I hope all of my vassals would love this place because I do. It's got everything."

It does?

She slams her cheek on the mattress again, "Everything."

So the couch is everything to you, huh? I clear my throat to get their attention, "We are not done here yet, Remelia."

"Hum, what's more? I have to go back to storing my power back."

"You just woke up from your nap."

"Storing my power back."

Okay, "If things are going to be where you said are going, we have to make a deal."

"About what?"

"About your vassals."

She yawns, "What about them? They're good. They won't be a problem for you," she closes her eyes.

"They will be a problem for the humans in here."

There's a moment of silence for Remelia to imagine the possibility. Her eyebrows keep twitching as if she's having a nightmare. Her refusal to deny it also suggests that she believes bystanders will be affected.

I initiate the promise, "Make their claws or fangs away from my kinds."

Her eyes open, awake this time. She tries to find a word for a minute and then: "Sure," the pupils sucked my mind in its blood water, "As long as my body is not prepared for a thousand years of war, I will keep them passive. Though it'd be hard for them to contain that much power. But as the Queen of them, I'd manage the impossible."

"Not impossible," if I can do it, they can too. The only weakness of being powerful is, you can't help but to use it. They just have to learn the right way of silence.

Remelia clicks her tongue, "It's been my plan since the beginning to let them rampage around. You can't change it."

"I can't. But if the time comes, I can stop you. Both of us."

The string of our soul pulled.

Remelia smirks, "Or if the time comes, you'd see it in my eyes."

It's a simple deal. She only has to keep her vassals from harming another human and I let her keep playing her role. When she decides to break it, I will end all.

I stand up. As she said earlier, I do have something to attend to outside. "See you tomorrow."

And just like that, I left the two alone. I was walking at a steady pace in case Remelia has something to add. But she has none. She accepted the challenge.

On my way to the door, I stumble on a white thing. Is this not the skeleton head? If it's legit then how much power did Bobo used the thrust her umbrella at me.

Whatever, not in the mood to clean it up. After all, we already got ourselves a maid.

The deal is made when the door shuts.

Thud.

Outside. More of them will come huh. I wonder how Nelia and Ayane is going to take this. Not that I'm too worried about Nelia (just imagine how her behavior is around proud creatures) but in Ayane's case...

Speaking about her. I have to check the Oba Ramen.

More chapters as soon as I can, promise. Thanks for the powerstones!
