Chapter 58: Surely You're Not Going To Keep Following Me Forever, Right?

Someone is following me. At first I thought it was just Nelia but even she is a lot more discreet about it.

The maid of Dracula, Bobo has been trailing my back. Openly. And this pretty much has attracted the other students' students. I'm both flattered and worried about myself.

'Ah, who is that girl in the maid's dress? I've never seen her,' says one of the female students in her group, 'I'd remember if I had.' 'Pretty sure she's new, probably our senpai' 'With Maid's clothe?' 'Has to do with her recent club activity, maybe?' "Like, she's a model?' 'No shit she's so tall!'

And when they're done awing her figure and beauty, the glance shifts to me. All of their eyebrows pull down, 'Hey, isn't that the science teacher?' 'Is she following him?' 'Oh my god, it couldn't be what I'm thinking is happening right?' 'No waay!' 'He's so lame too' 'Uhuh, out of his league.' 'I think the teacher is the one who is following her?' 'No doubt at all.'

What are you, retard? Perhaps you are correct if humans are creatures who walk backwards.

The guys join in the fun too. 'She certainly is following him.' 'Maybe they had business to do together?' 'Yeah, doing business in a maid's costume.' 'Lucky bastard.'

Hey, don't snarl at me. I did nothing wrong. Why am I the antagonist here?

Bobo continues following me to the teacher's office. In the meantime, she sits outside while I get my bag.

Alyssa is watching me patiently. "Senpai," she points through the window glasses at a girl in maid costume, "Have you hired yourself a maid? That's totally has to cost one year's of our pay."

"Do I look like I need a maid?"

"Maybe."

"I don't."

Her whole body perks up as she looks at me and Bobo outside back and forth, "my guess is, she's one of the Occult Club members?"

I don't know how to say this but I guess, "She is."

"Your occult club seems to be gaining unexpected popularity. Anyway, why is she following you? Or was it you're the one following her?"

… let's just ignore the second part.

Honestly, I don't even know. She's supposed to be staying in the occult clubroom next to her Master/Queen. Remelia probably told her to follow me. I don't even know what she's planning on now.

Alyssa holds the back of her neck, "Senpai, have you told her to change her clothes? People are going to think we have a cosplay-con in this school."

"That'd be hard but I guess I'll tell her that," I doubt she will anyway. Probably for a reason her maid cloth is her whole identity.

Alyssa is staying longer in the office to do teacher's stuff. I said my farewell to her and walked out of the room with my bag.

The golden eyes greet me.

We both don't say anything and just go on our business (her is to follow me still.) We know that it's not a good place to say anything while still in public eyes. Moreover, the only thing that matters to her voice is Remelia.

The evening starts to shade the sky. The wind passes every corner gently.

I stop at a nearby small park. Seeing nobody is around, I turn around to see Bobo is still following me. She grips her umbrella tightly as if it was her defence mechanism against me.

I might have squinted my eyes hard here but please know that it's mostly because the sun is literally behind you and now it's staring at me. I wish we could shift a bit of our position here but goddammit, that'd make her more embarrass than she already is now. Don't act as if I don't see them! And also, will perfectly ruin the momentum of seriousness I wanted.

I brace the light on my face and clear my throat, "Ehem, I assume Remelia ordered you to follow me."

"It is so," she nods one time and looks at me intensely. Please treat our Queen with more respect and address her as it."

"Remelia is not a queen to me," the sun glares brighter.

And that Bobo reacts warily, "E--even if you're that man, I'm not scared of you. My queen has told me you wouldn't touch me. In fact, you never touch a woman in your life."

... Remelia said that? The hell.

"And i've heard about you and your denial from my Queen. It's just a matter of time you'd kneel before her as you should. You're the man-who-opens-chaos, you're destined to be our Queen's."

All she talks about is Remelia. Don't she feel ever feel tired about it.

"Do you like candy?"

This, I know, is out of blue question. Bobo is looking at me weirdly now. "Is this a test?" she asks.

"No. I'm asking if you like candy."

"My Queen loves candies."

"I'm asking if you do though?"

"My Queen... loves candies."

All she talks about is her queen.

"Sure, whatever. Anyway, how long are you going to follow me?"

"I don't know."

"Can you stop?"

"Just to be clear, I'm not following you. I'm following orders."

"What if I want to go to the men's room?"

"Then we go to the men's room."

Seriously?

"That's not how it works," I intentionally stare at her from bottom to top. Don't think I'm weird though, it's just a, how do I say this, 'social' tactic I've figured long time ago. If you're making a person uncomfortable, they will stop being around you. Yeah. Uhuh. What? Like I said, tactic. Shut up.

Despite my stare at her body, Bobo remains calm. "I'll be more humiliated to face my Queen if I lose you today."

This is not working at all. I finally stop staring at her figure.

I turn around and walk away.

She follows.

"Do you like sushi?"

"My queen hates fish."

Okay. Let's ask her something more relevant now, I guess.

Miss me? Real talk, very sorry for my recent absence. I love writing but also I'm hungry. Thank you for y'all support, I will keep on writing and telling.
