~Stuck on the seventh floor-II~

"what's going on in here?!" The intruder asked with a worried expression on his face as he barged into the tent.

The two girls who were standing just a few meters from the entrance turned back to face the intruder, and their faces lit up a little when they saw his face.

'definitely someone they know'. Eden deduced as he quietly gazed at the intruder. He was a male with sharp facial features, inferior to Eden's but quite definitely above average. He had black hair and irises alongside a good muscular build which complemented his looks, he looked around Eden's age but it wasn't the same person he saw last time. This person had a certain......air about him.

Ada was still shaking as Eden didn't retract his aura, and Heather who was still trying to maintain a fearless front was betrayed by the quivering of her knees.

"What's going on?! Are you girls hurt anywhere? If so let me know!" The intruder said as he went to where the girls were and held the shaking Ada in his arms, the girl mumbled a few unintelligible words as fear had already taken hold of her. Eden's aura was that powerful.

"Ada.....". He said while his eyes searched the tent to find the cause of the girls' unrest and his gaze finally settled on Eden. As the intruder's gaze met Eden's, his expression changed from that of sympathy to that of rage.

"You, You did this. Damn it, I knew we shouldn't have let an intruder into the base camp". The man left the girls and ran towards Eden, he then held him by his collar and shook him violently while saying,

"You bastard, what did you do to them?" The man said while flashing his fist in front of Eden's face, but Eden didn't even spare him a twitch. He just looked at the intruder and his fists with a cold and uncaring expression which only served pissed the intruder off further.

And that was also when Eden finally pieced it together, from the way he reacted to Ada's shaking and the unique air around him that seemed to be able to naturally attract people of the opposite gender to himself.

'this man......is a womanizer'. An answer that Eden's intuition guided him to.

"Hey, answer me!!" The man shouted.

"Ron, calm down". Heather said while moving forward a bit with her arms stretched out towards the man named Ron, she was only able to move since Eden had retracted all my aura and focused it on the man that was currently holding his collar threateningly. Although the 'threateningly' part was no longer there since it was Ron's legs that were wobbling the most, the pressure from Eden's aura was so much causing him to sweat profusely and his teeth were clenched, he was obviously in pain.

"A-answer me, you bastard". Ron said with a weak voice, it sounded more like a plea than a threat. Eden didn't say anything to this failed attempt at a threat.

"....!!"

"Hey, I am talking to you. Answer me now, or else....."

Eden's devilish side then suddenly decided to rear its head and he decided to respond by saying,

"Or else what?" Eden said these words in a mocking tone, he was looking down on Ron. Ron could also sense this, but he knew that it was foolish for him to try anything. The aura that was emanating from Eden's body was weighing so heavily on Ron's and even his instincts were warning him. But his bottomless stupidity still pushed him to attempt the actions that he tried next. Ron imbued karmic energy into his fists and threw a straight right at Eden's face but that was easily dodged as Eden simply shifted his head to the other direction.

Ron didn't stop there as he couldn't show his weakness to the girls who were watching him. He threw another punch which was also easily dodged and another, they continued this cycle a few ten more times before Eden started getting tired of the entire scenario. Ron threw another straight punch, but instead of dodging again Eden stood and caught his fist.

"Wha-?" Before Ron could even finish his sentence, Eden threw a right of his own that landed squarely on Ron's jaw.

"Urgh!" Ron exclaimed as he fell to the floor, he had instantly passed out from a single punch. And Eden was even holding back.

'...was it too much?' Eden thought as he stared at the collapsed body of his opponent for some time before shifting his gaze upward to face the girls.

Their eyes were wide in shock and Heather's mouth was slightly open.

'Ron was a damage dealers and among the strongest people in the group, but he fell to a single blow by this man. Just who is he?'. She thought, her sweat had already returned even though Eden was no longer emitting his oppressive aura.

The atmosphere was tense as the girls wondered what the unknown man would do to them, but Eden was thinking about a completely different thing entirely. He opened his mouth, causing the girls to flinch a little, then he said

"Do you people have any food here?" He said, still donning a serious expression.

"Huh?" Heather said out loud. Her sister also carried a look of empuzzlement.

"W-what, y-y-you want food?" Ada said. Her shaking had reduced and her words made some sense now.

Eden nodded. He never had any beef against anyone, he just decided to go with threatening to ensure a truthful and quick question and answer session. He only punched Ron because the later got him pissed and now, his stomach was in a riot. It was expected, after all he hadn't eaten anything since he got here.

"So, do you have any food?" He said again after some moments of silence, he was still maintaining his cold expression.

"Um, we don't right now but the people on duty should be back anytime now". Almost immediately she finished saying this, a voice was heard from outside the tent.

"We're back!" It was a gruff voice.

Eden immediately determined that the speaker to be a middle aged man.

"Oh, they're back". Heather said as she turned around to leave the tent while gesturing Eden to follow. By now, she had already determined that Eden no longer meant any harm to them, he just wanted some food and they walked out of the tent.
