Episode 2

During break at the cafeteria, Miao Miao sat with her best friend and some of her friends;

Sang Zhi: what did my dad say to you at the office?

Miao Miao: he said to bring my dad tomorrow morning.

Sang Zhi: your dad's always busy, don't you think he'll be mad at you?

Miao Miao: I wish I could ask Ji Shu to come but he wouldn't listen, I guess I just have to tell him about it (puts a meat in her mouth)

The next day Mr Ji You Nian came to the principal's office.

Principal Sang: ….I think your divorce had some negative impart on Miao Miao, ever since you and your wife got divorced Miao Miao had been very poor in her study although she still manage to come out as top 20th, last time she even took 21st, it's not her calling.

Ji You Nian: yes sir, I will find a way to take care of everything and make sure she does better in her study.

Principal: yes.

4 years later.

Miao Miao: I have to find a new part time job.

Sang Zhi: can't just ask your dad for money?.

Miao Miao: I can't rely on him for money every single time, besides he won't give me.

Sang Zhi: why do you need money so badly?

Miao Miao: I want to travel to Yihe to visit my mom he won't let me not to talk about giving me the money.

Recalls

Miao Miao: dad, I want to go and see mom, it's been more than five years now since I last saw her, I miss her.

Ji You Nian: you're not going anywhere.

Miao Miao: but dad.

Present

Miao Miao: see, he won't let me go, so all I have to do is get the money and then sneak to Yihe to see my mom.

Sang Zhi: good luck with that (gives her a flier) I saw this on my way to school, they're hiring, it's quite easy, all you need to do is be a promoter In this restaurant.

Bell rings

Sang Zhi: breaks over, let's get back to class and you've got to take things easy.

Ye Xining: why did you touch my bag?, you're a thief.

Miao Miao: let go of me, (pushes her away) I'm not a theif, what's your proof and why do I need to touch your filty bag?, Get out.

Ye Xining: Miao Miao, I'll report you to the principal, you could even get suspended , worst, expelled, my dad is a great contributor to this school so he'll listen to me.

Miao Miao: (steps closer) go on, I don't care, after all, you need proof.

Ye Xining: (slaps Miao Miao) how dare you?

Miao Miao: (returns the slap in double) if you want to fight, just say it and I'll give it to you.

Li wei: Ye Xining, stop fighting, I found your purse on the floor

Ye Xining: (hooks) thanks class rep, Miao Miao must have dropped it there, you're the only theif I know, you're were so lucky.

Miao Miao: am I so beautiful that you said I stole your spotlight, guess what, I don't care about those, (takes her bag and leaves).

Sang Zhi: you're just a devil, you shouldn't had blamed her without a proof in front of everyone, you really should apologize (runs)

Ye Xining: why you, I will get you one day Miao Miao (stumps off)

Li wei was the class rep In their previous class that was why Ye Xining still refered to her as the class rep

Class room

Teacher Wu: so that's all for today's lesson, since this is a new semester we all have position to enroll for like, class rep, class commitee incharge of study, so many more, if you wish to find out more about them, you can come see me in my office, if you choose to apply let me know (walks away).

Sang Zhi: you really should apply for that post, I think you would be perfect for it.

Ye Xining: Not anyone can apply for that post especially not peasants like Miao Miao (stands and leaves)

Sang Zhi: just forget about what she said, I think you have a chance.

Miao Miao: I'm not interested.

Sang Zhi: you're reliable, you're among the top 10 in our class, you have a good physique which means you're agile and healthy and..

Miao Miao: and am not interested (walks away)

Sang Zhi: you need that position, I know what to do.

She snuck into the teachers office and filled a form for her applying for the class rep/monitor position.

Next day

Teacher Wu: so the people who applied for the position of the class rep are. Ye Xining, Shang Yan, Li Busong, Ji Miao Miao?, I guess I forgot you signed up, and Ji Miao Miao.

Miao Miao: what does he mean?.

Sang Zhi: relax, it's just a little something I did, you're capable.

Miao Miao: how did you do it?

Sang Zhi: my dad is the principal, did you forget, I have access to the school, especially with the keys.

Teacher Wu: by tomorrow you all should prepare your speech, now let's get to our topic of the day.

Ye Xining: there's no way you'll become the monitor, just watch and see, only people with high IQ can

Sang Zhi: the students gets to decide if you're in that post or not, I think you should step down, because people with low IQ can't vote you in, because you have high IQ, isn't that what you're saying?

Ye Xining: I'm the best, I'm pretty, smart, successful, intelligent and excellent, I think you should focus in your business (noise from background)

They both stared at each other with a though look, after class Miao Miao went to the restaurant to apply for a part time job, she got the job.

Jiang Jiaxu: hi, I'm Jiang Jiaxu, you are from

Chen high?

Miao Miao: yeah, do I know you?

Jiang Jiaxu: I think I saw you once, I'm in senior 2.

Miao Miao: oh, you're my senior, I'm in senior 1, I'm Ji Miao Miao.

Jiang Jiaxu: my father owns this restaurant and I've come to visit, why do you want to work here?.

Miao Miao: because I need money so badly.

Jiang Jiaxu: why not just ask your parent.?

Miao Miao: my dad won't give me because of the purpose.

Jiang Jiaxu: your mom?

Miao Miao: divorced, we don't live together.

Jiang Jiaxu: oh, sorry.

Miao Miao: no problem, I need to go back to duty, bye.

That night, Miao Miao spent it writing her speech, in fact they all did, so the next morning, Miao Miao went to the library, she was trying so hard to solve a maths problem which she couldn't solve, apparently Jiang Jiaxu was also in the library at that moment, he decided to sit with her.

Miao Miao: (looks up) oh, senior Jiaxu.

Jiang Jiaxu: can I sit here?.

Miao Miao: yes.

Jiang Jiaxu: thanks (he notice that she couldn't solve the equation) is seem finding that question is difficult, can I help?.

Miao Miao: sure.

He explained it to her and helped her solved it, he also taught her how to do it, she understood it clearly, Ye Xining from a distance saw them and was so angry that Miao Miao was sitting with Jiaxu, he never noticed her.

Jiang Jiaxu: if you have any question you can't answer just come to me and I'll help.

Miao Miao: why do you want to me help me? Jiang Jiaxu: so we can be friends, right?.

Miao Miao: uh, em, ok, bye, I have to go (stands up and walk away)
