"I Hope We Meet Again."

"Okay, Rayan. We should send you back before anyone comes and finds out about you. It'll be quite troublesome if they do." Elisa said to the kid as he pouted and shook his head vigorously.

"No! I don't want to go! They will scold me again for running away. I won't go! I want to live with you, Sister!" He said stubbornly as Elisa helplessly looked towards Ash for help.

"Why are you looking at me? The kid can not understand me even if I tell him to leave" Ash said as Elisa heaved a frustrated sigh.

"Look baby, you should think about your mother. Just think how worried she would be to find out about her missing son. Think about your father..." Elisa tried to do some reasoning as Rayan looked up before speaking.

"My father died when I was two years old." he said as Elisa got silent, she felt sympathetic towards the poor kid.

She hugged him as he got taken aback by her sudden action.

"I'm sorry for your loss. But you know what? He is in a much better place...where everyone is happy and tension free...the Heaven. You should be strong now that your mother is alone. She lost her love and life partner. Your brother will now get married so he will have more responsibilities over him, so now you have to take the responsibility of your mother's happiness since you are a good child, right?" Elisa said and released him from the hug.

"But Uncle Fred takes good care of Mommy," Rayan said.

"That's right, but you are her son and that's what a good son does for his mother who gave birth to him and raised him with care. Just because she scolded you once doesn't mean she doesn't love you. If someone is upset with you, that's because they care for you, they love you and they want the best for you and if someone just ignores your mistakes, supports you in bad decisions and doesn't show you the right path, that person doesn't care for you or your good being."

Elisa said as he went deep into his thoughts and after a while slowly nodded as Elisa sighed in relief.

"You're right, Sister. Mommy loves me and scolds me for my good so I should also be a good son and listen to her" he said as Elisa smiled at him.

"That's good to hear. By the way, Who's Uncle Fred?" Elisa asked, still smiling at him.

"Uncle Fred? Oh, he is my step-father." Rayan said, innocently, as the lightning struck at Elisa.

"What?" Elisa asked, maintaining her smiley face.

"Yeah, he really loves mommy and Mommy is also happy with him. Even though he is not my real father, he treats me like his real son. And guess what Mommy said? That I'll be having a little sister soon!" the boy said with full excitement.

"Uhuh? Congrats~" Elisa said with a smile, still in a shock. Whereas Ash was rolling on the ground while trying to control her laugh.

'I gave him a whole ten minute lecture on taking responsibility for his mother's happiness because I felt pity for her mother for losing her husband at her prime and after I finished talking, then little Mister thought 'Oh, now's a good idea to tell her about my step father and Mom's third baby'. Very well kiddo, very well'

Elisa thought while looking at the kid with a smiling face as he looked at her, confused.

"I feel you, Lisa, Hahaha, I feel you." Ash said, still laughing.

'Will you shut up' Elisa said through telekinesis as Ash sat straight up with a straight face.

'Absolutely' Ash said and fixed her posture as Elisa sighed.

"That's good to hear. So now shall we send you back?" Elisa asked as the kid hesitantly nodded.

Elisa stood up and made her way towards the stream. She extended her hand as the same golden lustre emitted from her hand and made its way towards the stream.

A golden bridge formed over the stream as Rayan was shaken as hell.

"Woah I didn't know crossing the border could be so easy? I had to swim till I reached this side in which I almost drowned five times" Rayan exclaimed as Elisa chuckled at his cuteness.

"Now you shall go" Elisa said while crouching down.

Rayan looked towards the bridge and then towards Elisa. He suddenly engulfed her into a tight hug, Elisa got startled at first but then hugged him back.

Even though, not even an hour has passed for their encounter but still a little string of attachment joined both of the hearts together, causing them to feel a little dejected at the separation.

"Will we meet again, Sister Fairy?" Rayan asked.

"Sister Fairy? *giggle* I'm not sure but I definitely want to meet you again" Elisa said as both of them broke the hug.

Elisa wiped the falling tears from Rayan's eyes as she kissed him on the cheek before saying,

"Now go, before it gets anymore late"

Rayan sniffled and turned to leave. He slowly forwarded his steps towards the bridge as he kept looking back from time to time. Elisa waved at him as her eyes also filled with tears.

"Stay healthy and be happy! I'll miss you!" Elisa shouted when she saw that Rayan successfully crossed the bridge.

He looked back and passed a cute smile before disappearing in the woods.

"I'll really miss him, even though we met a few moments ago" Elisa said as Ash nodded, agreeing with her Master.

"I hope we meet again" Elisa whispered to the disappeared figure with a smile on her face.

"Now shall we head back? There is some explanation we need." Elisa said, sternly.

Elisa entered her mansion as the sound of her tiny heel echoed throughout the mansion.

"Lisa? Lisa, you're back!" Mrs. Shizwell exclaimed as she ran towards Elisa, engulfing her in a hug to which Elisa didn't respond.

Soon Mr. Shizwell also walked out of his room in his night wear with a neutral expression on his face.

'He doesn't care at all, does he?' Elisa thought, looking coldly at her father.

"Where were you, kid? We were so worried! It's past one" Mr. Shizwell exclaimed as Elisa scoffed internally.

"Oh really? I'm sorry to have you worried" Elisa said with a straight face, pushing her mother off as her father nodded.

"Lisa, baby, you should listen to us once" Mrs. Shizwell said, desperately.

"Go on"

"Huh?" Mrs. Shizwell looked at her child as her daughter had no emotions in her eyes, which broke her heart.

'Those eyes...they're just like before' Mrs. Shizwell thought while looking at her daughter's emotionless eyes that she once saw eight years ago.

"Go on. I'm listening" Elisa said as her father sighed and sat on the couch.

He gestured to her, to sit. Elisa took a seat in front of him as Mrs. Shizwell sat beside her husband with a sad expression.

'Feeling pity for your own child huh? What's the point? When you can't even stand up for her in front of your husband?' Elisa thought while looking at her Mother's desperate eyes which are trying to find light in her child's dull eyes.

"So Lisa, as you know, How hard your Mom and I worked to establish our company?" Mr. Shizwell said as Elisa nodded, absolutely uninterested in his 'hardships' talk.

"You know right? How is it my dream to spread my business everywhere? In human territory, our territory and even in the...werewolves' territory" he continued as Elisa blankly looked at him.

"So?" Elisa said as her father looked towards his wife, not finding the right words to express his thoughts.

"So...the main thing is that our company was facing quite losses since many investors refused to renew the contract and the HR department was also in lack of employees which made it difficult for a few amount of people to manage a whole company's environment and we were just going towards downfall" he described and Elisa's expression clearly showed how uninterested she was.

"And due to such problems our company was about to face bankruptcy when suddenly a huge investor decided to invest in our company, and that investor was none other than Mr. Adolphus." he said as Elisa lifted her head up on the name of Adolphus.

"Isn't he a werewolf? So how..." Elisa gave a confused look.

"As you know, our company is located outside Amrell town, in the human territory so it is possible since neither side knows about this and it's a secret collaboration because between humans, we are also human and by we, I mean your Mom and the Adolphus.

So it was not a big of a problem and even if the humans knew it wouldn't matter since they have accepted our and their kind, wholeheartedly as they have signed a peace treaty with both sides and they are now counted as neutrals, on neither sides.

The only issue is the dispute between us and the Werewolves. But there are many people with modernized thinking and a wish for peace between both t-" Mr. Shizwell was explaining but Elisa cut him off by saying,

"Please get to the main point" as he cleared his throat and looked towards his wife who then took over.

"So the main point is that the Adolphus wanted his son to get married since he had to take over the leader's position and they wanted a supportive companion for him and they asked to find a suitable partner for their son and so we-"

"So, you sold me" Elisa said cutting off her mother as she panicked.

"Those are not the right words-"

"What's the point of right words when everything concludes to this?" Elisa said, making her mother go silent. Mr. Shizwell let out a frustrated sigh as he spoke,

"You are misinterpreting our words. What we were saying is that they wanted a sweet daughter-in-law and we wanted a long term investor and this was a pretty good opportunity so we talked to them, showed your picture and they agreed and besides, they are good people, they'll take good care of you."

Elisa snickered as she spoke, "Yeah right, so basically you sold me for your business"

Mr. Shizwell seemed to lose his patience whereas Mrs. Shizwell felt guilty.

"Yeah and So? Stop testing my patience, Elisa" Mr. Shizwell said, sternly as Elisa let out a sad chuckle.

'You heard that, Ash' Elisa thought, aware of the fact that Ash was witnessing everything since she could feel her presence nearby.

"So, Do I have a choice?" Elisa asked, with her gaze lowered to the ground.

"Huh?" Mr. Shizwell questioned.

"I said, do I have a choice in this marriage or is it like always? When you forced your every decision on me?" Elisa asked, lifting her head.

"When did I ever force my decision on you?" Mr. Shizwell asked, getting offended as Elisa let out a laugh.

"When? When did you not? What hobbies should I have? What interests should I have? What friends should I have?...You forced me into studying business even though you knew I wanted to be an artist, that I wanted to study art! You made me break more than half of my friendship, Why? Because they were not rich enough? Because they were not good enough to be your investors?

You even wanted me to break my friendship with Genevieve but after I begged for a whole week on my knees, then you gave permission to keep my friendship with her. You forced me to eat salads from the age of six, just so I don't gain weight and become 'Ugly'. And you say 'When did I ever forced my decision on you?'" Elisa snapped at him as he started to fume in anger.

"Elisa Shizwell! Lower your voice! We are your Parents!!" Mr. Shizwell yelled as he stood up from the couch, followed by his worried wife. Elisa also stood up and fought back.

"Enough Dad! Enough! What Parents?! Those who sold me for their business?" Elisa said, trying to stay calm.

"I said, Enough!"
