Deciding To Be Little

"Hey Ethan.... would you maybe....wanna try regression?" I ask, holding my breath as soon as the words left my mouth.

~~~~~~~~Ethan's POV~~~~~~~~
"I.....what?" I ask in shock, the words barely clicking in my mind.
"It's just....I can tell all of what happened to you has left you with a lot of trauma and I figured....maybe it'd help you like it does others" Marcus said a little nervously. "You did say it sounded nice."
"I-I mean... It does but I don't think....I don't know....I mean I may be in diapers but that doesn't mean I wanna be a baby" I say, blushing as I look down at the floor.
"You don't have to be a "baby" per se. It'd be whatever age you naturally regress t- I....you know what forget I asked, it was a stupid idea" he said, looking to the floor.
I'd just met this man today and already he seemed to care more about me and my mental health than anyone I'd known my whole life outside of my mother. It was strange yet... comforting. I don't even know why I'd gone on to tell him all that I had. Maybe because he'd actually had the compassion to ask where no one else ever had. To comfort me when I was on the verge of breaking down. Maybe...
"I'll...I'll think about it" I said, making him look up at me in shock.
"Y-you will?" he asked, as he stared at me.
"Yeah...I mean I'm not really sure if I wanna give it a try, but it does sound kinda nice, just...what would that mean? I mean are you planning to be my "caregiver" or whatever?" I asked, not sure if I'd be comfortable with that.
"No no no no, not unless you wanted or needed me to be one" he said, getting a little flustered. "I just meant simply trying it. I know it helps a lot of people through similar things to what you've been through. I suppose I'd be more like...a guide? Someone to help you learn how to get into the headspace, but not really taking care of you unless that's something you'd want."
"You'd really wanna take care of a guy you just met?" I asked, looking at him quizzically.
"I-I mean... like I said, I enjoy taking care of others, so I wouldn't mind" he said. "I mean... we're gonna be bunking together all year so we're gonna be around each other a lot anyways. But that's ultimately up to what you'd want."
"I.....thanks Marcus...." I said as I smiled lightly.
~~~~~~~~~Time Skip~~~~~~~~~

It'd been about a week since that super awkward yet super sweet interaction Marcus and I'd had. Since then neither of us had talked about it and had just been acting like a couple of average college roommates. Well minus me having to ask him to leave the room once every few hours so I could change my sodden diaper that is.

We did however talk about a concern he'd had about me arriving with so few things, to which I'd told him that since we'd moved away from my dad that Mom had been trying her best, but ultimately we'd been struggling. I'd offered to get a job and help her, but she'd absolutely refused, insisting that I focus on my studies so I could get into a good school and get a good education, something she'd failed to do herself, so that I could live a comfortable life.

Hearing that Marcus had nearly broke down into tears and absolutely demanded I let him get me a few essentials. At first I'd refused, but he was adamant so I eventually relented and he'd got me a new set of sheets for my bed as well as a mattress protector in case of any leaks, much to my slight embarrassment, as well as some new clothes to replace my old worn out ones.

I felt bad letting him get me so much, but he insisted it was alright as his family was fairly wealthy and said that he always helped a friend in need, no matter the cost.

After that time I'd grown rather comfortable around him and his suggestion had stuck in the back of my mind. When he wasn't in the room or looking I'd started to look more into the concept of age regression and realized just how many people there were in the community. I'd learned there were huge markets for it too as people would make and sell adult sized baby items.

When we'd been there for two weeks, I decided to finally break the unspoken silence on the subject and approached him.

"Hey...Marcus?" I started off a bit shyly.

"What's up, Ethan?" He asked, turning around in his chair where he'd been doing some class work.

"It's.... about the suggestion you made a couple weeks ago....after my....I....I think I'd like to give it a shot" I said, blushing a little as his eyes widened.

"For real? You wanna try regressing?" Marcus asks, a look somewhere between surprise and joy. "I honestly thought you'd just forgot about it."

"No, I....I've been looking into it the past two weeks...and I've decided that it's worth a shot if it can make me feel better" I said as I blushed.

"Well alright then, we'll need to go shopping to get you some things" he says, starting to stand up.

"Shopping? For what?" I ask as he grabs the keys to his car.

"Well that depends on what stuff you want, really. Toys, pacifiers, new diapers" he says in a soft voice. "I'll let you pick out whatever you like when we get to the store."

"B-but...I'll be too embarrassed buying stuff like that" I say as I start to fidget.

"Don't worry, buddy. Where we're going to shop you don't need to worry about being embarrassed. Now come on, let's go!" He says with a smile, giving me a playful smack on the seat of my diaper.

We hop in his yellow Camero, taking off to whatever store we're going to. After about thirty minutes we come up to a lone store with bubbly, intentionally crooked letters reading out "Little Dayz". The gears in my head start turning as I read the sign.

"Is this....is this a regression store?" I ask, blinking in disbelief.

"Sure is, bud. Ready to go look around?" Marcus asks as he leads me into the store.
