Chapter 42: New character

It's been a while since Keisha moved away from the country. A year? Or more than a year. My life now is like normal. For those who don't know yet, I have a connection with Jeanneth but I am still not ready for being relationship with her. I also don't want to hurt feelings, I will enter the relationship once again when I am fully healed. Yeah, I know it's been so long but my love for Keisha is different, I just can't give up that love easily. I'll be honest, I'm still waiting but I already know that she already got married. Thank god that I had a connection to Maxine. Maxine updated me but I also want to move forward so I said to her that she should stop updating me.

For months I went drinking nonstop, usually at the bar, and sometimes I woke up in somebody else bed naked. Well, I'm drunk and I'm not a minor so it's fine.

My work? Since Keisha moved to the States as my boss's daughter, I got a promotion, and one of our best employees also got a promotion in my past position. I am thinking about resigning from that company but I need a job so I am pursuing a career than my feelings. As you know Jeanneth and I are working together.

Sebastian, he's already had a girlfriend, just a month ago he went back to his country and when he returned he announced that he got himself a beautiful girlfriend. It is so beautiful, blue eyes, blonde, slim body, tall and had a pointy nose. They suit each other.

For Kiel, we still don't have any update on him, but what I know right now about him is his parents already talked about it and they talked once again before Kiel disappeared again. They refused to give us some little details about where Kiel is, they said that Kiel requested it.

The two of my best friends who supposed in my side are now gone. But I am not alone, I still have Jean and Seb on my side. They are the ones bringing happiness to my life now and I am satisfied with that.

"Morning sunshine, hope you had a nice sleep, have a nice day!" the text I received from Jean. I'm still sleepy, I want to go back to sleep but I need to be at my office even tho it's the weekend. Mr. Alonzo said that he needed me at the company and my assistant. I woke up early for the appointment we were about to talk. Before going to the bathroom I replied to Jean's text. "Good morning, I'm still sleepyy~ " with some emoji

I went straight to the bathroom and took a shower, I still had time to have breakfast but I needed to be there earlier than them. There's still I need to arrange before the session. After I take a bath and get dressed, when going to work I'm always wearing trousers 'cause I ride my motorcycle on an everyday basis.

"I went to the cafe shop where I used coming since morning for my morning coffee. As usual, my order is a cappuccino. I am a regular here so they know what I'm going to order. I wait at the corner before I receive my order. As I was looking outside through a glass, I saw a group of teenagers. It looks nice to go back in time if I can, I will.

As I was looking at the kids I heard my name at the counter and I went to purchase my order, pay, and leave. I took some sips of my coffee before riding my motorcycle.

I arrived at the place and saw my co-worker, my assistant.

"Oh you're here, you're early Luna what comes?" I asked her to see her early even tho the meeting would start in 2 hours.

"I had an idea that you would come here early so I came earlier so I could help you. I am your assistant for a reason," she said and then gave me a bright smile.

I smile and proceed to go inside the company.

"Uh, what would you do Miss Angel?" she said desperate to help me.

"Please drop the miss, we are both employees here and we're the same age." "I'll be working with the files, would you please double-check it?" I added.

"Yes Miss- Uh I mean Gel." she once again smiles.

For now, we are both busy checking the files about the company and the meeting. An hour passed Mr. Alonzo arrived, Good thing we were already done checking the files.

Also, the treatment I received from our boss is still the same but like there is a line now. It is not like before, everything changes...

"Angel, did you already do what I told you to do? Did you check the files?" Mr. Alonzo asked me. "Yes sir, we are already done with it, Luna helped me," I said with a smile on my face. "Very good then, The client will be here in a few minutes so please anything they need to do, please do it now." Luna and I both said "Yes sir" with both tone and time.

The client arrived just minutes before we were done with the preparation. Luna helped me to welcome them and accompanied them to where the meeting was held.

We are about to start the meeting when someone opens the door aggressively. You can see a woman catching her breath, she seems to be running here from the entrance. She starts catching her breath and she starts talking slowly "Augh I'm sorry I'm late Dad. Hauhh" she said while touching her chest. She slowly raised her face and when she raised her face fully I was shocked. She is one of the girls I've slept on. How is she here? And Dad? Her dad is our client? Mr. Becker? So she is Miss Becker huh? Interesting...

"I need to stand straight and look up straight, she stared at me before walking to her dad's side. She might recognize me, am I in trouble if she finds out? I kept my cool until the meeting ended.

After the meeting, I told Luna to go upstairs with both company's CEOs. I sat down for a minute and suddenly the door opened again and I thought it was Luma but when I looked back it was Miss Becker. I stood up straight and she said, "No pressure, we even shared a nice lovely night once so, want to stop by a cafe nearby?" she said those words trying to make me remember what had happened. So she remembers me huh?

"I didn't expect that you will remember me. You heavy drinker, you passed out until morning." I said to her with a mocking voice.

"To be honest I forgot about you but then you kinda left some marks on my house, I saw your business card that is why we are here as clients of this company. Hope I will work with this beautiful girl in front of me. Don't you want it? Miss Angel." she said and she looked at me as if she wanted me not just a co-worker. "I am Angel, nice to meet you, and you?" I introduced myself it may sound awkward to introduce yourself before you have sex with a person. "I am Eli, Elizabeth is my name. Nice to meet you, darling." with that introduction we shared a handshake after we introduced to each other.

Elizabeth went upstairs, she said that her excuse to her dad was that she was going to pee but here she was, in front of me saying her nickname and full name. After she left me alone I distributed the files on the desk and proceeded upstairs to inform Mr. Alonzo that I would be going home now.

That was my plan but since I saw Eli once again she stopped me and insisted that we should catch up on something. I agree 'cause I can't just ignore coffee. Now we both went outside the company, I rode my motorcycle with her straight to the cafe where I stopped by this morning.
