Today was exceptional

"Wake up, Zane." The one yelling was not Mr.Heriss but Sutasi. He's a good guy. He takes care of me from time to time. Not to mention when he's done with his work, he would play with me. I had fun time spending with him. Other than him and Mr.Heriss, Kelan is also a nice guy. He always speaks with a smile on his face, a very reliable guy indeed. I got off the bed while yearning. I didn't notice that Sutasi had given me the breakfast on the table. I washed my face and finished business. After that, I went to the table that had the break laid. When I looked around I saw no one. Had all left for work? Usually, I was never so late however today was exceptional. I had a bad, really bad nightmare this morning. I was not sure what that nightmare even mean. I took my breakfast alone while thinking about how I changed. I'm saying like an old man. Don't I? The one I can't get along with is that girl "Luna.." She's out of my radar. She always gives me a scornful expression whenever she sees me. Is that her habit? Unable to understand her I left the possibility of getting along with her. The next one 'Jodan' I'm really grateful to him for being me here. He becomes nervous every time he speaks. But lately, he has gotten rid of it. Well, no fully. He still lacks some confidence. As I was grinning and thinking about them, Sutasi noticed me. I was so driven into thoughts that I didn't notice his presence.

"So, wanna come to the shop today?" He asked me a usual question. Most of my days I spend there for the sole reason of playing with him. When the workload is less, he would join me in playing or would teach me various kinds of stuff.

"...Fine." I thought for a while and came to a conclusion.

"Then hurry. I'm leaving right now." Hearing that I quickly gulped the remaining bread and went his way. He rubbed my head a bit and said

"Let's go." His voice has unwavering confidence in it. I don't know who else has such a voice.

As usual, we walked all the way.

When entering the shop my eyes met with an unknown person. I have no connection with him nor I have seen him anywhere. He had a small diary in his and began negotiating with Mr.Heriss. His hand was moving faster than his mouth. Beside him was another individual. He seemed much younger than him. He was doing the same except not talking. As our eyes met he gave an intense look that gave chill throughout my body.

"Oh, that's my son. He visits here when the school is off. Quite a troublesome isn't he? fufu…" Mr. Heriss introduced me not by my real identity. He was smiling broadly. His grinning eyes looked kind of fake. The man is about his eyes from me as he finds no interest in me. He had a serious appearance altogether. Sutasi pulled my hand that was holding with his slide, saying that we should move on. In truth, it wasn't our place to speak.

"Okay, let me ask you some more questions." As we went in in the negotiation begin again. Sutasi went on his slot. However, I left behind while hiding in the corner. I was in a place where no one could find him. It's like a loophole in this shop. I hide here when I don't have anything to do.

"Have you noticed anything unusual about him? Anything would do."

"Well, he was a nice boy. In addition to that, he was very frugal. I hardly believe that he's a monster. His eyes were downcast all the time. Not to mention he lacks ambition and confidence. He would never get his way and ask me to pay him earlier. That's the kind of kid he was."

"You sure trust him."

"Of course I'm. Even though he's not here working for me, I hope that the false accusation he got to be resolved." Mr. Heriss was saying with his head high. He didn't show any sense of humor in it.

"So, did he said anything like why he's leaving the job?" That man didn't just stop questioning. Is it that fun of a game?

"Yea' he said something like he was moving in 'CPA-3' or so. But I don't know the details. It's not good to seek in someone's private matter."

"Every part-time job he took lasted around one or two months. But your one lasted a bit more. Is there any specific reason?"

"I can't say why he did that. But I can grasp that our hospitality and behavior mannerisms were the reason. It's just an assumption nothing more." Mr. Heriss was tackling his question very nicely. By the looks, I could grasp it's about 'Jodan'. I mean he's all over the news. But for a while the news about the suspect 'Jodan' stopped. Why is that? Did the case close? It can't be then why's that man questioning Mr.Heriss.

"If you don't mind can we look inside your shop? It wouldn't take too long I promise. It would be a pleasure to us." The man said politely. What would Mr.Heriss do? He can't just shut them, can he? That way they would get more suspicious.

"....You see my workers are working hard inside. It would be a problem if you disturb them"

"No, we would do anything that would make them irritated."

"Than sure. I don't mind."

"Also I want to ask the employees about him. Would that be a hinder?"

"No, not at all. If it helps you any way I gladly invite you."

They moved inside and they didn't even notice me as I was hiding in a tough place.

"Is it fun hearing others' conversation?"

"Woah!" I jumped out in surprise. How did Sutasi find me? I have to be very conscious about him. He's a deadly guy. My conception Of him changed greatly.

That detective … I uttered in my mind. "You mightn't remember me but I have remembered…"
