I parked some clothes

Next day

I opted to wake up early. My head was still spinning due to excessive stress. I got down from the bed yawning and starching my hands. It was a morning exercise. You one must have it do it otherwise their limbs would become numb. Making the bed, I went to the bathroom doing my business, and took a quick shower. The sun was peeking from its blanket. In other words, it's still dark outside. An hour and it would be bright outside. However, I don't have that much time. I parked some clothes and hang the college bag around my shoulders. The bag wasn't heavy as I don't have many clothes. Those were brought by Mr. Heriss. As I'm a suspect for the time being I could go out let alone shopping. I'm also grateful for Mr. Heriss even for this thing. I wondered how would I be able to live without him around. Well, it would a pain in the ass as I'm mostly dependent on him for the so the slightest thing. I went downstairs with sudden steps. I had to make sure that no one sees me. The house was pin-drop silent. I just hoped that I didn't make any mistake. Seeing no one around I was able to move a bit freely. The first thing I noticed is Luna sleeping soundly from her room. The door was opened slightly so I was able to gasp that. However her clothes are a bit… how should I put this. Her nighty was loose and it was revealing quite a bit of skin. I swiftly averted my glance as I don't want to be caught here and labeled as a 'Pervert'

Zane was dozing on the couch with his crayons locked in his hand. His fist was clenched and eye brow was crossed as if he was feeling the wrath. His hand wasn't just barely holding the crayons but it was likely being broken by him. It made me a bit curious exactly what was he dreaming? Perhaps, it's. a nightmare. The nightmare I have every day. In my case, it has become a habit of mine.

I have to leave before anyone wakes up. I stepped quickly and noticed Kelan doing something in the kitchen. I jumped in surprise and hid behind the couch in an instant. What in the world is he doing around this unusual time?

I peeked to grasp the matter and to my instant, He was drinking a bottle of water from the fridge. Shit, this is bad for me.

He wasn't in his full conscious but if I found out that I would have to tell him about my leave. It would a real hassle. By the time I looked up behind the couch I didn't saw him. He disappeared in an instant. I lowered my backpack and held it in my hands, making it easy for me to make a run. Preparing to make a run was a bad idea. However, I was able to leave the house without being noticed. The fact that I made some noise doing it wouldn't go unnoticed. Well, it's not something to care about now. This place has given me something that I can't repay. As I look back at it, it. Brings memories. The memory I would never make if I were the same. Thanks..

A perfect departure did.

"You leaving?" Oh! That got me a heart attack.

I averted my gaze to see who was it.

"Jodan, you seem stunned."

It was none other than the beast Mr. Heriss. He wasn't wearing his usual clothes. He seemed a bit depressed even though he had his always-on Grin.

I nodded slightly with downcasted eyes.

"Oh, I see. Then this is goodbye I think." His muscular figure felt gentle for some reason. To be honest he never treated me badly. I was the truth. But I can't understand him a bit. What his real self is? Who is hiding under that grin? Nothing but a blank image flashed on me. It was as if I was the one who lost to see his true self.

"Don't you go early to the shop to tide things up?"

"I don't have to go early every day. I would just miss a day or two occasionally."

"you mean today is your occasional day?"

He didn't give any answer rather nodded with his usual grin.

"If you have some time, wanna visit a place with me? don't worry it wouldn't take too long." Well, I can deny his offer but I think it would be fine as long as anyone didn't see me. I could do at least that much for him. I didn't intend to ask him where he's taking me. IT's not like he would hand me over to the police and was talking me to the police station.

"Well, im not in a hurry."

"wait a second." Hearing my answer he immediately went inside and came back with a hand back. The simple optimistic bag was not much to stand out. At first, I thought he would hand me that as a departure gift or so. But I was wrong as I saw the peeking flowers. It was pure white in color and the sweet aroma it emits is refreshing. I didn't ask him why he brought that. There would be a reason for that.

"Let's go."

*****[25 minutes later]

"Are you sure we aren't in the wrong place?"

"It's the correct one. I pay a visit here once in a while. I haven't been able to visit here since you came. So, I thought it would be best to come here today."

This is giving weird vibes. So, he didn't mistake. It was indeed his intention to visit a graveyard. Perhaps, someone dear to him died here. But somehow I felt like I didn't belong here. After that Mr. Heiress went to a specific grave and placed the flowers in front of a gravestone. He then began making a conversation.

"How are you daughter? I have missed you. Sorry, daddy's late."

It was quite an awkward situation. I didn't how to make it out of it. Mr. HEriss was speaking to nobody. Well, I can't say nobody it was probably his imagination. I just stood there unable to do anything in particular. Mr. Herris noticed me and then he took me with him in front of the grave,

"Look, daughter, this is Jodan. Let me tell you a fun fact about him. He's currently a murder suspect even though he didn't murder someone. Isn't it funny?"

Hehe.. Yes, it is. HOW COULD it be Funny? Don't you have common sense? I'm literally running with my life. Calm Jodan, calm this isn't time to be worked up. I finally calmed myself from inside somehow. But how would I be able to talk to Mr. Heriss's imaginary daughter? I would definitely feel awkward. I made a half-grin and wanted to cut out but No, that wasn't possible as Mr. Heriss was holding me tightly.
