Feeling sad

The cold breeze blows away the brown dust, the uplifting force of nature was visible to all. A person walking towards with a small-sized human. Maybe it's a child of a human. They both coming in the direction of the shop named 'Good Meat'. Whether it was too engaging a fight or to make a deal, the purpose of that person's was not clear. It was blurry just like his face. A dark imaginary monument was over his face. It was as if something big was going to happen and it would be soon.

"he had a child with him? Should we stop?" Kelan asked worriedly.

"It's too late. He might be using that child to slow us down. Don't be so wimpy now, Kelan. This isn't time for that." Sutasi gave a rather straight-forwarded answer as he should. After all, they have that nature. The nature of a monster. They didn't feel any human empathy. The one who was the strangest is Kelan. Why he's feeling sad for the kid?

"The moment you see his face don't hesitate!" Sutasi was right on his point. This is a battle of powers. No one had to hold back. Even if they're not sure of Jodan's true motive.

This address is Mr. Heriss's shop. Why did the kid want to go there? It's not like he wanted to buy meat or something when his dad died.

"Dad gave it to me. He said to go to this location." The kid said in a sorrowful tone. He was crying for a while for that reason his voice was broken. He was having a hard time speaking because of continues sobbing.

"I know this place."

"The boy's face brightened up hearing that. "Really?"

"It's okay. What choice do I have left? If I don't do that this child gonna cry himself to death." My reply was good reasoning. The kiddo was too little to find himself in the meat shop. He would get lost in the middle of finding the shop. I also felt kind of weird to visit there as I made a mass earlier.

"EEAHH!" I pulled my hair while feeling annoyed but in the end, I gave up restraining.

"Why the shutter is down? Whatever now I have to go inside, what a pain."

I was way too embarrassed to go inside. First, I thought I would leave the kid outside and went my way out of here. However, I realized today was my unlucky day.

Kelan was the first to strike with an ice-shaped crystal. It was so sudden that I didn't know how to respond, I just hide my face with both of my hands out of fear.

What just happened? Resis-st wa-ll? What the hell? All I could understand was Kelan attack didn't reach me. The icy crystals dissolve into thin air before reaching me. Not only Kelan's attack failed but also, he was thrown back by great force, The wall reflected his attack as a result.

Seeing that Sutasi backed off. He must have thought that his attack would be futile against me. His expression was as if he saw some absurd theory come true. A truly shocking face.

"Why did you guys suddenly attack?"

"Why're you alone? W-Where are they hiding." This's the first time I saw Sutasi taking the lead. His voice was shaking as he falls back. I could his sweaty face that was driven by intense fear. Why was he so afraid?

Not that I'm saying it proudly but I thought Kelan might be much stronger than me. You failed my expectation Kelan. Without uttering a single word Sutasi rushed to Kelan and look down on him.
