Ch 16: Rejection

"It… It's not something I can control. The Red Moon festival tomorrow so it's normal for me to release pheromones…father," she replied, annoyingly trying to push him away because the mercenary captain was sitting in front and beside him was a mercenary soldier driving.

But nobody mattered to Romeo, he lifted her up and made her sit on his lap. Burying his face between her shafts of breasts, he painfully moaned," You… You are torturing me. Karenina, I also don't want this…"

Covering her face in embarrassment, she murmured under her breath," Then why are you doing this, father? You should remember your celibacy and beliefs of your religion."

To which Romeo didn't reply and started unbuttoning her shirt, she panicked and struggled, however she was tossed on the car's seat and he crawled on top of her.

"No… what are you doing?" She aggressively asked but he covered her mouth and began kissing her neck and chest while she could feel his erection inside his pants. It was rubbing between her flared jeans, making her more worried.

His hand grabbed one of her breasts, circling her nipples he made it erected before sucking on it. She moaned unconsciously, arching her back as her head fell back on the seat.

Gasping in shock she regretted experiencing the sinned pleasure, he was so good at it that made her heart race and left her haunted for more. Her hands instinctively hugged his shoulders, her beautiful slender fingers running through his long, silky, straight black hair. She felt like exploring the deep waves of Dark sea through his cascade hair strands, while he continued kissing her nipples and his other hand kept pressing her lips closed.

She lost her sanity when his hands reached under her skirt, her eyes rolled in euphoric as she felt his warm palm covering over her lace underwear. She was never touched before in that part of her body, it froze her for a minute. Her brain started calculating what just happened!

"Ugh…Ah," she heard Romeo's low voice rumble groan. " You are my sin… majestic sin that I would go against the god."

"S-Stop it, father Romeo," Karenina managed to mumble through her covered mouth. "I-I do not wish to stay with you. You are making me nauseous!"

Romeo stopped that very second and raised his face up to glance into Karenina's angry orbs which glowed crimson. He removed his hand from her mouth, allowing her to say further.

"I admit that I was attracted to you…I wanted to seduce you and make you mine," she growled, her wolf taking over her emotions. "But I wasn't aware of your true identity. I never knew you were Lycan…the very being I despise."

" Are you that eager to get rejected?" Romeo asked, his voice softened and carried the strings of sadness. "Will you be able to endure the consequences of receiving the rejection from Lycan?"

"Yes,"Karenina lied, her voice shaking in fear and overwhelming emotions. She knew her wolf will get broken and it will take years for her wolf to gain her strength back.

She will lose the title of heir of Ace Moon pack, her parents will begin to see her useless piece of shit. Her pack members who were jealous of her before will crack jokes and laugh at her miseries.

People saw her as heartless and cold-hearted heiress, but now she was going to sacrifice herself for their well-being. She could have accepted Romeo as her mate and threaten everyone in the pack to bow to her. Live in fear and worship her as their saviour.

'Sigh, I just despise Lycans and I know their true nature. They'll raid my pack and r@pe the she-wolves! I don't want that, and I don't trust him being my father's friend!' She thought as she tried to kick him off her.

Romeo's eyes returned to heavenly blue from a murderous red glow. He then indifferently replied,"Alright. I'll obey your words."

He gets up from her and adjusting his suit, he looks at her with a cold demeanour. Karenina also sits properly, her face down as she was about to experience the heavy blow.

"I, Romeo Salvatore, reject Karenina Agriche as my mate."

That very moment, Karenina's heart shattered like pieces of glass. She never imagined the rejection would hurt her this intensely. Biting on her lower lip she accepted,"I , Karenina Agriche, accept your rejection."

Her wolf growled in suffering causing her to cough out blood. Romeo turned his face to the other side, ignoring her like she never existed to him.

With trembling hands she cleaned her blood from mouth and endured the series of emotions hitting her. Her wolf was getting weaker and she was able to sense it…

30 minutes later, their cars stopped and Karenina immediately got out of the car before anyone would and sprinted towards her mansion.

Without greeting her parents or anyone, who were waiting outside with curious eyes, she ran inside. Stepping hurriedly on the staircase,she storms inside her room and locks herself.

Slowly her eyes turned teary and her voice shaking as she sobbed painfully. She wondered why she was feeling so heartbroken and sad… she never truly loved Romeo romantically. It was just an attraction so why was rejection hurting her more than what she actually lost!

Knock Knock

"Karenina, what's the matter?" She heard her father's voice, calling her from outside. Her breath stuck in her throat as she quickly dried her falling tears. "Why did you lock yourself? Open the door, I have something to talk about with you."

"F-Father, I need some time alone," she answered, her voice shaking in fear. This was the first time she has ever made an excuse and declined her father's order.

But her father got confused and kicked the door open. Seeing her sitting on the floor, he growled,"Why are you crying? Who hurt you?"

Karenina didn't get time to control her expressions and before she could turn back into normal, she saw her mother, cousins and other family members walking inside.

It was embarrassing, unacceptable. They have seen her weak side… her eyes no longer glowed red.

Her father's eyebrows furrowed together as he spelled out in hatred,"Karenina… you… you have lost your strength! You are no longer fit to be my heiress."

As soon as she heard those words, her tears started falling like an unstoppable river. She no longer could lie or make excuses. Getting up, she nodded,"Yes, Alpha Dante Agriche. I'm no longer fit to be your heiress."

After saying those daring words, she ran out of there. Her feet running on its own, she wanted to go somewhere, hide somewhere where nobody would be able to find her.

Running through the Ace Moon Pack's forest, she hides herself in the cave. Only to find out a group of three muscular yet frightening looking males finding her inside. They're rogues! She could smell their scent that reeked of loneliness and hatred.

"Oh look who we found," one of the men chuckled. "Isn't this pretty girl Alpha Dante's daughter?"

"Yes, she is . The great warrior and legendary heir of Ace Moon pack, however I can't smell her wolf. Has she lost her wolf or is she now a weakling?" Other two commented, and laughed right after.

Karenina, who was now weak compared to them, took a step backwards and tried to run. Unfortunately they caught her, kicking her knees they made her fall and then dragged her inside the cave. Tie-in her mouth with the cloth, they started ripping off her clothes like mad beasts. Two of the men pinned her wrists down, while the third man spread her legs apart.

Ripping off her underwear, he shoved his two thick fingers inside her and laughed.

"I want to taste this crazy bitch."
