Chapter 16:The siege of Heaven part 1

Alex P.O.V

I sat down, across from my grandmother as we slowly drank our green tea.

"So Alex, how's the love life?"

I choked on my tea and set it down before clearing my throat.

"Well, there's something I need to tell you."

She smiled before putting her hand on mine.

"You're gay aren't you?" She smiled.

My eyes grew wide.

"How did you know?"

She let out a giggle.

"Because, i've known since you were little."

I smiled.

"Now, tell me about this boy, is he an Angel aswell?"

I paused for a moment.

"Uhm," I bit my bottom lip.

"Not exactly..."

He cocked her brow.

"Werewolf?"

"Nope..."

"Wizard?"

I shook my head no.

"Then what?"

"H-he's a D-demon..."

Her face turned from a smile to shocked.

"Sorry, what did you say dear?" She said in utter disbelief.

"He's a Demon." I said with a little more confidence.

She let go of my hand and got up.

"A demon?! Have I not taught you enough about them!?"

"G-grandma, he's different..."

"It's unacceptable, I knew I should've decimated the underworld when I had a chance."

She paused.

"What do you mean by that?" I stood up.

"Well, the jig is up, Alex, my real name is Gopnik."

W-wait, Gopnik!?

"YOU'RE GOPNIK?!"

She smiled.

"Yes dear, now I need you to do something, revive my army."

I shook my head.

"No! I WONT HELP YOU!"

She shook her head.

"You don't have a choice." Suddenly I felt a strange power coursin through my blood and I lost control. My arm lifted and suddenly a blast of green light shot out of my hand.

"Thank you honey." She disappeared leaving me in this prison.

Axel P.O.V

The front of heaven is growing massive, demonic ballista on each tower, angels numbering in millions aswell as demons.

Heaven had gone from white, to a war zone as we prepared.

The Angelic and Demonic high council have been going over war plans, making sure to cover anywhere the Pash Ka Ni can start the invasion.

I went into the fountain of tears, admiring one of the beauties heaven had to offer.

I stood there smoking a cigarette as my father came in.

"Toss it over."

I passed it to him and he took a drag.

"You know, this battle is going to be hard right?"

I nodded and took back my cigarette.

"I'm ready to find Alex."

As I took the last drag of my cigarette we felt a low rumble and knew the time had fallen upon us.

"Get to your battle station son, protect the heart."

I ran outside and Heaven had been turned into a war zone. The Pash Ka Ni flew dragons and our ballista was barely keeping up.

I shifted into my demonic form and ran into the crystal chamber.

Suddenly a dark creature appeared in the chamber, she looked like an old lady.

"May I help you?" I asked getting out my chains of the damned.

"Yes, I would like the heart." I smirked.

"Come and get it!" I flung a chain at her but she dodged it.

She sent a blast of dark void energy but I deflected it back at he, hitting her directly in the face.

"Nice try, idiot." I ran at her and started poundin pure demonic energy into her face, slowly trying to rip her soul apart.

Suddenly she grabbed my hand and laughed.

"Demons are soo weak. Inzial deal with this idiot while I help on he front lines." A 7'2 dark, hooded reaper came out of the shadows.

"Yes Gopnik." I got in battle stance as she left me with Inzial.

"Well, let's make this quick shall we?"

He nodded and let out a laugh.

"Yes."

(20 minutes later)

I got knocked to the ground after my final move had failed.

He laughed and started walking to the crystal.

"W-wait! Dont do this..."

"Its too late, Gopnik rules the high heavens!"

He reached for the crystal but suddenly a shield formed around it made of green energy.

"What is this trickary?"

"You forgot about me..." I looked up but my vision was going blurry, the last thing I remember is Alex ripping the dark heart out of that reaper and a beam of light shooting towards the sky.
