The Reigns Mansion

"Why hasn't your department handled the situation??" he asked and Cynthia's face went pale in fear.

"Um... sir... the situation isn't that bad yet and it started around midnight so..." Cynthia stuttered.

Ever since the media released news about Emma and Levi's marriage, the internet had been filled with different arguments.

Some were of the opinion that she didn't qualify to stand beside Levi and should get away from him.

A lot of people said hateful words about how a poor girl like her seduced a rich god like Levi just so she could climb to the top. And that people with nice faces like her would do anything to climb to the top.

Her past was also dug up by crazy netizens as they insulted her background and called her all sorts of names. She was called a shameless orphan.. a jinx child... an unfortunate beauty and all of that.

The internet was flooded with various hurtful comments and it caused their stock price to go down as Emma was the young madam of OR.

But with that aside, the product launch was a success and the items led to a significant rise in their sales and popularity. This caused the price to fluctuate immensely in the last ten or so hours.

"So do you want me to do your job for you??" Levi asked again. The meeting ended in an hour and everyone left the conference room with a long face. They were basically reprimanded for everything they did and to top it off, they got their salary cut by a quarter.

Levi and Emma went back to their offices and continued with their everyday works. Emma was treated differently, both in the good and bad way but she didn't mind as she had better things to worry about.

Her visit to the Reigns mansion was in two days and she wasn't sure how it would go. She decides to act like herself and restrain from talking too much, but she wasn't sure if the Reign family would leave her with any reason not to talk.

By midday,OR released a statement on behalf of the company that if anyone slanders Emma Reigns, they will face the wrath of their legal team. That was all it too for the angry netizens to back off and stop their slandering against Emma.

Her newly opened Instagram account that had less than a hundred followers already increased drastically, leaving her with three million followers under one day. The only post she made of Andrea on her do over birthday was flooded with negative comments about her with some positive ones from some of Andrea's fans.

But all in all, the drama for the day was over and everyone went back to their normal jobs leaving the internet for celebrities.

Saturday came very quickly and Emma and Levi woke up early and went to the Reigns mansion.

All the servants were lined on both sides of the door forming a long line as Levi's driver parked his black Lamborghini at the end of the line.

"Good morning young master!"

The thirty or so servants all bowed as Levi came out of the car.

"Good morning young madam." They greeted again when Emma came down. Emma was putting on one of her signature baggy jeans with a small T-shirt paired with a white sneakers. Her black jeans and blue top, with her hair held up by butterfly hair clip made her look like a young girl in her twenties.

She looked very bright and youthful but Chairman Reigns still had a displeased expression on his face as he stood at the end of the lined up servants.

"Grandpa..." Levi greeted chairman Reigns with a hug.

"Morning grandpa." Emma greeted softly.

"Who's your grandpa, call me chairman Reigns!" he barked out angrily.

"Morning chairman Reigns." Emma corrected herself, not upset at all.

"Let's go inside. The elders are waiting." Chairman Reigns said before leading them inside. Due to how anxious she's been feeling, Emma didn't have the luxury to admire the mansion she just entered.

But when she stepped into the main mansion, she gasped in awe. The inside was as huge as those castles the royal families lived in in fairy tales.

While looking up, she could only see the blinding lights of the chandelier above and nothing else. Bringing her gaze down, she could see various paintings from the ancient war that happened in C city many decades ago. The heroes who stood forward to protect their country were all painted to perfection on the wall and the most surprising thing was that there was a portrait of Levi on the wall.

She turned abruptly at Levi who was by her side but he only smiled lightly and walked ahead of her.

They walked through a long corridor before getting to an open space which seems to be the living room. She could feel the tense atmosphere even before she entered the room so she took a deep breath and adjusted her expression.

"Good morning elders." Levi greeted with no form of politeness in his voice then he gestured to Emma to do the same.

"Good morning elders." Emma greeted with respect in her voice, contrary to how Levi's greeting was.

There were about fifteen people present in the room consisting of eleven men and four women. The eleven men had two people around chairman Reigns age while the rest were middle aged men in their late forties and early fifties.

Two of the three women were also in the age range of the middle aged men except the third woman who seems to be in her early thirties.
