The Launch

"And why should I believe you??" Levi asked dangerously as he switched his gaze between Bella and T.

"S... it's not nice of you to say that. You should start trusting me more. After all,we are getting married in a few weeks." Bella reasoned out.

Bella's father and Chairman Reigns go back in the days and due to their strong friendship, they agreed to get their children married.

Josh kept on emphasizing the fact that Levi must be a married man in a few weeks and he wouldn't stop boasting of having a son-in-law like Levi.

But Levi on the other hand, had no interest whatsoever in their arrangements and ignored whatever they said. He insisted on never following in his father's footsteps and making a family on his own accord.

But as time passed, the chairman was getting old and he craved the feeling of holding his great grandchild before he died. He also doesn't want to leave Levi alone with his manipulative Uncle and grand uncles without anyone he can lean on for support.

Therefore, he began his daughter in law haunt and set his mind on finding the perfect girl who would break the stone heart of his grandchild. And to him, no one is better than Bella who he had known from birth and had watched her grow into a formidable woman.

"I'm sorry B. But I'm married and can only put my trust in my wife; no one else." Levi said with an evil smirk sending goosebumps down Bella's skin.

"What??!" Bella exclaimed wide-eyed. Married?? How?? When?? Bella was suddenly filled with several questions.

Their marriage was scheduled for the twienth of next month so where the hell did he get a wife from??

"Oh... it looks like you aren't that informed are you??" Levi questioned while looking at T who bowed his head to hide his guilt. Seeing this, Bella understood what was going on as she stared at her brother in both disappointment and anger.

Without waiting for the siblings to start their argument, Levi turned around and left the mansion in a hurry, still worried about Emma.

Getting out into the open, he received a call and his heart almost jumped out on seeing the caller.

"Hello..." he spoke fearfully.

"Um... sir, I'm home now." Emma said in a light voice. Levi quickly made a U-turn and returned home immediately. It was already after Eleven when he walked into the house and Emma was sitting in the living room with fatigue all over her face.

"What happened??" he asked immediately he got close to her.

"Some women picked me up after Zeus dropped me off. They said you needed me for a dinner party and I should come with them to get ready. I didn't think too much so I..." Emma left her sentence hanging but Levi understood what she was trying to say.

"What did they do to you??" he asked slowly.

"Nothing. I was kept in a. room with food and water. But I wasn't getting any signal on my phone so I couldn't call." Emma replied.

"Next time, don't go with anyone without my words." Levi said in anger before heading up the stairs.

Getting to his room, he walked up to the balcony window and opened it before walking outside. Taking out his phone, he saw a boldly written message which made him show a hint of worry in his deep star-like eyes.

"BEWARE." Just a word but he understood what it means. He took a deep drag on the cigarette he just lit up and stared far ahead into the night.

Things were getting more and more complicated and he was starting to divert from his original aim.

The doctor's file for one is a mystery only he is aware of and he just revealed to his enemies a strong weakness that can be used against him and at any time.

Secondly, he was yet to confirm if Emma is truly the one he's been searching for for more than eight years now.

And lastly, how Josh would react when he finds out he married a street girl instead of his precious daughter. Marrying Emma was a plan he had carefully drafted and he was going to protect Emma at all costs to ensure nothing goes wrong with his plans.

May 2nd... Omars Royal product launch...

Early in the morning, Emma came downstairs and prepared breakfast for both herself and Levi. Levi came down some minutes after the dishes were ready and sat down at the table with a file in his hand.

"Morning Levi Reigns."

"Morning Mrs Reigns."

They both exchanged their weird greetings upon seeing each other. Emma made pancakes and candied bacon, with a little sour cream scrambled eggs. Their breakfast was very light but also delicious so they ate rather quickly before heading to the office.

The launch was scheduled for 7pm in the evening and all the staffs were rather busy at the office. Emma was selected to assist Cynthia in the opening speech and the unveiling of their final product.

Emma already has her script for the launch ready so she was busy preparing the order of presentation. This year's launch was going to be a mix of both jewelry and shoes. Omars Royal decided to make exquisite designs of jewelries that paired with different types of heels. There were also jewelries for the males that paired with their different styles of oxfords and boots.
