Ely was just about to leave

"Are you ok?", said Ely, just then, the ferris wheel ride ended and I ran as fast as I could, "Nicole wait!" said Ely, I didn't turn back and I hid in some bushes, I saw Ely pass me and I walked to a nearby park next to the fair, I sat down on an empty bench and started sobbing. Not even a minute passed and someone came up to me and said, "Is that you Nicole?" I looked up with tears all over my face and I saw him...Alex...

"A-Alex?..." I said, Alex sat down on the bench next to me and said, "Why are you crying?", I responded saying, "My crush doesn't like me..." Alex surprised me when he said, "Ely is an idiot for not liking you...". My eyes opened wide and I looked right at him, Alex looked right at me also and said, "I know because the way you look at Ely is different from everyone else...", I just stayed silent and stared at the ground.

"Nicole..." Alex said quietly, I looked at him and Alex said, "I like you..." I stayed quiet for a few seconds, Alex then said, "I know we barely know each other, and you've known Ely your entire life, but I want to be with you, I want to make you smile, and make your life better, and-", I stopped Alex from talking and I said, "Shut up..." Alex looked at me and before I knew it, I kissed Alex...

I kissed him gently on his lips, and he looked at me shockingly, and then Alex kissed me back, we both started kissing passionately, Alex pulled me on top of him and I grabbed his neck while Alex kissed me grabbing my waist, but we heard footsteps so we stopped. When the people who were walking passed us Alex said, "D-Do you want to go out with me..." I shyly started nodding my head, Alex saw my nod and he smiled, he then grabbed my hand and said, "I won't let you down" I smiled at Alex and said, "Thank you".

We stopped talking and Alex suggested that I go back to my house, so we both took the bus, when we arrived at the bus stop, Alex gave me a short kiss and waved goodbye to me. I then looked at the time at my phone, "Shit!" I told myself, it was 11:09PM with missed calls from my Mom and Dad, my parents were going to kill me.

I opened the door to my house and saw Ely sitting in the kitchen table with my parents, "What is Ely doing here..."I said, my Mom ignored my question and said, "Where were you!" I told them everything that happened with Alex. My parents looked at each other awkwardly and my Dad said, "Just dont do it again, you should talk with Ely..." My parents went upstairs and then Ely said, "Why are you even dating Alex, you don't like him, you hardly know him" I confedently told Ely, "I can date whoever I want".

Ely slammed his hand on the table and said, "Alex is just like Ryan!", I said "no he isn't" Ely then screamed at me saying, "Yes he is" I then screamed at Ely, "It doesn't matter I like Alex and Its my problem if he's exactly like Ryan!" before Ely could respond, my parents came running downstairs, my Mom said, "...Is everything ok..." I told my parents forcing myself not to cry and said, "Ely was just about to leave" Ely then was heading towards the door, but he wanted to hug me, but I backed away from him.

Ely then just said, "I'll see you at school..." I didn't respond and Ely left my house, my Dad said, "You ok darling?" I nodded and went to my room. In my room I looked out the window and caught Ely looking at me through his window also, he gave me a weak smile, I ignored him and closed the curtains...

When Monday morning came, I woke up extra early and got ready, Vanessa was going to pick me up today, on the way, Vanessa's Mom kept talking in Spanish, I think I heard her Mom saying something like, "E pork est trista to amygah" we arrived at the school and waited outside a while for Alex, Alex then arrived and waved hello to Vanessa, but then he kissed me infront of her...Vanessa's mouth literally hanged all the way opened...
