Chapter 22. The Ambush Part 2

Carlen tried to get up but was forced back down by another punch to the face , he tried to overpower Kalel to no avail he was just to strong for him , Kalel took out his sword and was ready to cut of the head of the now bloody faced Carlen but suddenly.

Thud.

He was kicked into a nearby tree destroying the tree and kept bulldozing all the trees behind like a wrecking ball until coming to a stop 15 meters from his former spot.

Kalel tried to stand up but found out most of his ribs and his joint were broken due to the impact , Coughing out blood Kalel took a green looking potion from his little bag in his pants and downed the fluid in one gulp.

"What the heck was that ? what happened ? Was that a Magical spell ? well what ever it was it sure was powerful it would have been the end of me if i didn't bring this Health potion, Damn that potion is more expensive and rare than everything we have some one is going to pay for that" , Kalel said before rushing back into the battle.

"Shit is that how strong I am I didn't know I have gotten this strong I would have held back my strength ", Miles thought remembering what happened a few moments ago .

Miles saw Kalel about to kill Carlen and used void jump appearing behind him and kicking him in his ribs while , the impact was enough to cause shockwaves sending him flying , and used void jump appearing back where he stood a moment ago.

The shockwave alone was enough to cause a momentary pause in the assault.

"What the heck happened "?, one of the bandits said .

"Was that a spell "? , another asked.

"Where is the captain?"

"Did you think he died in that blast "?.

Even Lilly's team didn't know what happened they all knew what each other are capable of doing so they knew that blast couldn't have come from one of them, But they used the opportunity to catch their breathe , But their rest was cut short.

Kalel was burning with rage when he came back , with his armour damaged beyond repair.

"I have to hand it to you no one have been able to annoy me this much and you are going to pay I am going to torture you for making me use a rare healing potion , you might have gotten me with a wind spell while I wasn't paying attention but now I am going to make you beg me to kill you" , Kalel said .

He ran straight to Kernel his first victim , Kernel was barely fast enough to keep up with his speed and strength and it was obvious with the amount of cuts on his body that he isn't going to last a minute.

"Well I guess it's time to end this " Miles said before heading towards Kalel he made sure to not make the same mistake twice and Slowed his movement enough to make him visible to Kalel but even though he could see Miles it didn't mean he could react on time to the attack .

Kalel was gaining the upper hand in the fight and kernel was visibly slowing down due to the accumulation of wounds and bruises causing him pain , Kalel was about to lay the final strike on kernel when he was suddenly sent flying helplessly in the air due to a kick landing on his neck.

Thud

Kalel found himself laying helplessly on the ground , he tried to get up when he realised he couldn't even stand properly due to the kick.

"Is this how I am going to go out with out achieving anything ? am i going to die a common bandit" ? , Kalel thought remembering all the things he went through just to make his own gang how he was treated like trash , how his father and mother hated to see him, how he dreamt of becoming a knight before he was striped out of his knighthood , and he was filled with rage.

"Haaaaa. "

"This is not where I die I will kill you all even if it is the last thing I do", Kalel said.

"Limit Breaker ".Kalel said and immediately The aura coming from Kalel changed , it was more ferocious , the pressure coming from him was enough to make the trees shake violently.

The Bandits seeing their leader in that state where given more morale and they all attacked more ferociously.

Kalel moved like the wind appearing next to Morgan and slicing through his armour like paper and cutting through his flesh from his shoulder to his ribs.

Morgan was blinded by pain and his sword fell from his hands and he went down on his kneels.

" This is for pissing me of" , Kalel said but Brean stepped in sending a fire spell shaped in a small ball to him .

Bbbbbooooommmm.

"Why do you all keep getting in my way", Kalel said.

The attack didn't do much damage but it managed to move him a few feet away from Morgan giving Lilly some time to cast a healing spell on him.

Carlen Shot an arrow at Kalel but the latter used his sword to deflect it.

Kernel was still seriously injured after the amount of wounds Kalel inflicted on him even after Lilly using a mid grade healing spell on him.

And Miles was busy taking care of any bandit that tried to help their leader.

" I guess its time I start using skills this is getting annoying", Miles said.

"Sword barrage" .

Miles sent out a Barrage of wind blades to the bandit.

Different body parts where cut of and most of the bandits where dead.

"Twin lightning".

using the new skill he just unlocked Miles sent out two lightning snake at the bandits .

noticing Kalel was single handedly overpowering all five of them he decided to end the struggle.

"Energy Blast".

Miles noticed the energy and the amount of MANA and the density in the skill was more than the last time he used it .

He released the energy sending it crashing into Kalel The blast exploded on impact sending Him into the sky and crashing back down , his body was a mess burnt flesh destroyed armour even his hair was burnt due to the spell.
