Chapter 20. Just another quest

Miles paid Broth his money collected the shadow armour and he followed Lilly to get some food from a restaurant , after the goblin settlement quest they where tired and needed to rest so they went home to take a nice hot bath and fell asleep.

But meanwhile in an unknown location.

The goblin king Rakh'Ash was seating on his throne made of human and animal bones alike with a crown on his head made of a beast skull , the crown resembled the skull of a beast with two long horns on its head, he wore beast fur and was decorated with bones of different shapes and sizes , the goblin king "castle" was decorated with mostly bones and all types of animal and beast fur , he was protected by two goblin general who stood by his right hand and left hand and a goblin shaman who stood beside him on the throne . Their was rage in his eyes after hearing the goblin survival news .

"So you mean to tell me that a single puny weak human defeated all of you even my general ", Rakh'Ash asked.

The goblins speak their native tongue and only high ranked goblins can speak the human tongue but when speaking with each other the goblin native tongue is used.

" Y.. yo... your gobliod He had the strength of a hundred men I think he is one of those human adventures" , Gantu said.

"So he killed every one and only you survived you deserve to die for abandoning your fellow goblins and deserting the outpost , Rakh'Ash said signaling the general by his left to take care of the goblin.

"No please I wi... ", before he could say anything else a sword was sent to his neck and cut of his head leaving on his face a shocked expression.

"Prepare the troops it seems the humans have forgotten my might we are going to show the humans the might of the goblin army" , Rakh'Ash said receiving praise from his people.

Miles woke up feeling like a new man he quickly climbed out of bed and went downstairs meeting Lilly kneeling down and praying .

" Looks like somebody slept in ", Lilly said standing up from her position .

"Well I was feeling really tired so I may have over slept a little', Miles said .

" Well I am going on a quest with my teammate so I will be back soon" , Lilly said .

"Well I don't have anything doing so can I tag along" , Miles said.

"Well if you want to sure I see no reason why the boys wouldn't let you come along after you saved their life" , Lilly said.

So Miles followed Lilly to the intended meeting point , To Lilly Miles was just looking after her but to Miles he just wanted to test out how strong he is now and the new abilities he unlocked after reaching level 50 and the upgraded ones, it took them fifteen minutes to get to the meeting point but it felt like an hour to Miles he kept on getting death stares just for walking around with Lilly from everybody and Lilly wouldn't let go of his hand putting her hand in between his hand and walking around like couples .

They met in front of Morea restaurant which is quite popular for it's delicious and expensive food , it is very popular and one of the tallest buildings in the city so adventures usually met with each other at the front of the building but only high ranked adventures nobles or rich merchants could even enter inside .

There where four men waiting for Lilly outside the restaurant. Miles immediately recognised them as the adventurers Lilly was with during the trip to the city .

" What took you so long , Carlen the youngest among them said ,Carlen was around his early twenties, he was average in height with blonde hair he was not quite handsome but still easy on the eyes , he wore full armour and carried a bow on his back".

" Maybe she got caught up because of pretty boy over here , Kernel said pointing at Miles" , Kernel was a man in his mid thirties with a lot of muscles under his armour he had a lot of scars ranging from small to big all over his body, he had a sword the size of two normal sword , he had a black hair and a manly face which will make any body looking at him think of a mercenary.

" Cut it out ," Lilly said blushing at the thought of what he meant.

"Settle down every one we don't have time for that , Morgan the team leader said ". he looked to be in his forties, he was also dressed in full armour with a long sword a shield that was almost as big as him , he had a serious expression on his face , one look at him even an idiot will know who was in charge he wore the armour of a knight which was blue and an helmet which covered the top of his head and the back of his head to his neck.

"Nice to see you again" , Brean said . He was a tall man in his thirties , he never wore armour because he claimed they weighed him down and as the fastest member of the team and a speed and strength based fighter he didn't want to be at a disadvantage of speed , he wore clothes a hunter will wear but he had some accessories on him Miles didn't know if they where a fashion statement or they where enchanted accessories.

"Well now that every one is here let me explain the mission" , Morgan said .

"The quest we are going on is a C rank quest , their has been report of bandits on one of the road to the city , they have been stealing goods and money from merchants and now no body is willing to take that road any more our job is too capture them and bring them to the city to face the law but if that is not possible you have every right to kill them , now that you know what the quest is all about let's move out, we do this every time so don't get killed its just another quest".
