Read 90 chapters. I just feel like the novel will be stretched more than needed to get to where it needs to go. I don’t have any major complaints but I feel like the misunderstanding comedy between the male and female lead might get boring. Also why is she trying to seduce her boyfriend away from herself. It’s dumb. Give it a try I guess.

So this is pretty good. The romance isn’t too bad and the story starts off pretty good. My only real issue is that a lot of the cultivation stuff isn’t really in depth or explained all that much when talking about realms, it feels like more of an afterthought. like it is never explained what any of the realms are really capable of or the actual difference between them so it feels a little off when the mc suddenly starts getting immensly stronger and its hard to tell the difference. I love the characters and while I wasnt a fan of the mc sometimes I still enjoy this I’d definitely say this is worth a read for the characters but the story itself is kinda leaving me wanting a little more depth.
Objectively speaking this is a great novel and for those who have even an inkling of this type of story telling then this would be a great read. however, personally I do not enjoy this novel that much. I find the common sense of the MMC and the FMC to deviate by a large margin from what I consider common sense so what I have read causing a very sharp disconnect with me and makes me feel irritable with the characters. This is just my personal subjective feelings. For others I suggest you attempt to atleast read a few chapters to see if it compatible with you but for me 40 chapters is enough.
Its a good like slice of life, modern cultivation world kinda story…. but it isnt what i expected. From the current chapter onwards, it seems like . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . He wont actually realize Xiaoqi is his online gf until he becomes an immortal, which makes me sad cuz i was imagining a story where his gf helps him after he reaches a certain level cuz shes tired of seeing him struggle or something but i guess not.
An excellent book compared to many other cultivation novels out there (some are so bad maybe my expectations are very low). What I think is the best part compared to many other novels is the main character which is portrayed as an idiot with his choices but actually thinks with the mindset of his character. For example as he is poor he knows how to avoid trouble that others may put on him portraying an accident hence he avoids it at it was suspicious he also instantly hangs up on the police as he thought it was a scam call when and when his friend asked him what if they are the real authorities he said that if they really are the police they would know where he works and would find him at school which really makes this such a good novel for me who appreciates human interactions.
