"What's so funny?" He asked." Why did you laugh? "

Oh no his Highness had heard him laugh. He had to think of a way to save himself before his Highness kills him. "Y-your Highness you se-see i-i." He stammered.

"Speak well before I lose my patience." He said coldly and sternly. "Talk."

"Your Highness, I laughed because..." He gave reina a 'Help me' look. "Because I think that you and lady Reina look good together." He said deftly.

This made Alex raise a brow. "You laughed because you thought that me and lady Reina looked good together?" He asked.

"Yes your Highness, you and lady Reina do look good together." He poked Steven on the elbow. "Don't you think that Steve?" He asked shaking nervously.

Steven glanced at him before turning to meet his Highness. "Yes my lord, both you and lady Reina look good together." He said.

Alex glanced back and fourth from Steven to Daniel. "I appreciate the gesture but I don't need any of it." He said and looked pointedly at Daniel. "How foolish can you get Daniel?" He asked." I know that was not the reason for your laughter."

Daniel's face turned to ghostly white, and Reina couldn't help but wonder why he was so afraid of Alex , for a man his size and a vampire for the matter , it was really strange' why does he fear Alex so much?' And this made her wonder who Alex was ,no what he is.

Alex looked like he was ready to pounce on him." If you don't speak now it'll only make things worst for you." He said coolly.

He was about to speak before a woman's voice interrupted. "Stop pestering the poor man Alex." They all turned to see a beautiful dark hair woman." Just look at how he's trembling."

Both Daniel and Steven bowed to her." Your Highness. "They said. Reina couldn't help but stare at the girl she was white in complexion almost pale like her skin ,she was almost as tall as Alex was but she was a few inches Short, she looked like the girl version of Alex except for her red eyes which were glowing in happiness. She moved closer and hugged Alex tightly." I heard that you have arrived and I couldn't wait until dinner to see you, It's so good to see you Alexi." She said happily."

His face was still as cold as ever." How nice to see you Leyla. "He said hugging her back.

Leyla she'd heard that name from somewhere, where could she have heard it from?

She looked at the woman behind him and smiled." Alexi and who is this woman?" She asked stepping away from him and walked up to her the girl was much shorter than her so she had to lift her eyes to face her. As their eyes met Leyla was immediately drawn to the jade green eyed beauty ,she felt lost in an endless green sea. Reina bowed. "Your Majesty." She said.

"Who are you?" She asked.

Before she could answer Alex voice interrupted her." This is lady Reina, my wo..."

"Friend" Reina voice cut him short." I am Prince Alex friend, malady. " she said.

Leyla looked at her brother."Really?" She asked.

Alex smiled 'Reina would pay for this'." Yes Leyla, me and

Lady Reina here are just FRIENDS." He stressed the word.

"Okay any friend of Alexi is a friend of mine." She took Reina's hands in hers." Nice to meet you lady Reina ,my name is Leyla am Alex younger sister." Her voice was very jovial and this made reina relax a little.

She remembered Leyla Alex had said her name during the time they went horseback riding, he hadn't spoke much about her but she knew he loved her dearly.

"I remember my father always like to take me and my little sister out in the outdoors when we were children." Alex said looking at the hills as the sun was setting." We use to go out to catch fish ,we caught a lot of fish but never brought them home." He stated.

She looked at him surprised. "Why is that?"

"Because anytime me or my father caught a fish my sister would begin to cry and say were being mean to the little fishes." He said and Reina couldn't help but laugh at his comment.

"Your sister seem to be very kind." She said.

"Yes she is kind." He said dryly looking at the horizon his face suddenly turned serious.

She saw the expression on his face."You don't like that she's kind." She asked.

He sighed." It's not like I don't like that she's kind , infant am happy that at least there's someone in my family who cares about others." He said." But she's too kind for her own good and puts others safety before hers."

So that was it he was just worried about his little sister." Your Highness, I think your begin too overprotective." She said.

"I should be , am her brother after all." He stated matter of fact." But she's worries about the welfare of others more than her own welfare."

Reina couldn't help but smile. "Even though I haven't met your sister yet I can tell that she's a wonderful person." She said." And to have that kind of person is rear, treasure her."

Alex looked at her." I already treasure you my cute kitten. "

She smiled as she remembered. "Thank you milady." She said looked into Leyla red eyes.

"Please call me Leyla." Leyla said warmly.

Reina could get used to this woman." Thank you Leyla. "She corrected.

"Now back to the matter at hand." Alex turned to look at Daniel. "Before my dear sister interrupted I was busy asking your dear friend Daniel what he had been laughing about." He moved towards were Daniel was.

"Alexi please you shouldn't start punishing people you just arrived." Leyla pleaded with him.

"Don't worry dear sister it would only take a minute of my time." He almost had reached where Daniel was when he felt a hand on His shoulder. Not bothering to look back he said angrily. "Leyla I have told you not to interfere in this matter. Remove your hand from my shoulder."

The hand refused to move , Alex became more furious. "Leyla for the last time remove your hand or I'll-." He stopped when he turned to look back expecting to see Leyla, but he was utterly speechless when he saw the person who was so bold to stop him. It wasn't Leyla, it was Reina.
