chapter 13

Adam and Eliza face both turned pale, at each other in confusion. Adam was speechless,he hadn't expected Alex to be in the school,he couldn't believe that their plan had backfired. He had to save both his neck and this stupid girl who didn't have any brains.

Eliza looked at her dress flustered ,this couldn't be happening to her ,all because of her stupidity and her ignorance to not believing Angus words she wold not have been in thus kind of situation, she had to save her face if not. Both she and Adam would be in big trouble ,and even if his mother was able to save them from the school authority. She would not be able to save them from the society,think Eliza she said to herself,she couldn't let lady Reina win. She had to save face.

"Well." Alex said curtly. "We are waiting."

"Mil-"

"Your Highness." Adam cut in before Eliza could speak." The name of the person ,who told us the news is." He paused.

Alex observed the fear in his face and knew that the person that told them the news was the spi, he didn't want to disclose it to anyone. But he was Alex and he knew how to make him talk. He turned to look at Mr Charles.

Feeling the someone staring at him ,Charles turned to meet the gaze of Alex. Understanding what the expression in his face meet he turned to look at both Eliza and Adam.

"Listen carefully sir Adam, both you and lady Eliza's reputation depends on what you say, so if you don't tell me the truth I'll be forced to make the matter known to the headmistress, and we all know the way she is in handling such matters,and it wouldn't be long before the matter would be made public. He said." And mind you both I want the truth, and if I should find out that you lied it would be disastrous for you both." He warned sternly.

Reina had been watching everything silently , she couldn't believe the dream that was unfolding in front of her, one look at Adam and Eliza was enough for her to know that they were lovers. But why was Adam acting all interested in her back then and talking about her beginning in the forest ,she remembered Alex kissing her senselessly in front of her room. But couldn't remember going into the forest, her memory seemed blank ever time she tried to remember what happened after the kiss. She hoped nothing bad had happened, but this rumor of her going into the forest was something, could she had gone absentminded ? No she wasn't that stupid to go into the forest without her knowledge. It could easily be seen that Adam and Alex didn't fancy each other much and when he mentioned Adam as his cousin she was speechless, they were cousins and they had so much tension between them ,something was wrong some where and she was going to find out the truth. She looked at the bald man that was standing next yo Alex he had a tin moustache at the top of Hus lips and a thick dark brow,he would looked younger if he wasn't wearing spectacles, his eyes were red,it was strange to her she had never seen a vampire once. She had heard that the males were very tall but this vampire he was tall ,but not as tall as Alex who was many inches taller than him, looking at the fearful look in Adams eyes she could tell he was not at ease, this man must hold some power she thought to herself,because nothing would make Adam who was a relative to the king afraid he must be a teacher. She thought to herself.

Adam sallowed he couldn't escape .Mr Charles was not only a teacher but an advisor to the king and he had to say the truth if not he would be shamed in public , or even worst be expelled from the school for indecent behavior. And it was a big shame to be expelled from royal academy.

He sighed painfully. "It was Angus." He said finally.

Alex smiled. "So what do you have to say for yourself Eliza? Your dressing is improper and it cannot be overlooked that you were inside Adams room." He said.

Eliza looked down red with embarrassment. "Prince Alex I ,was really in sir Adams room just to look at the jewelry pieces that his mother brought. And as for me being halfnaked I mistakenly spilled water over my dress and had to dry it." She raised one of her hands up and placed the other on her chest." I swear on my life I didn't do anything with sir Adams." She said dropping her hands. And Reina could help but roll her eyes she trust Eliza to lie about it but never knee she could be this shallow and using such a stupid medium just to Save herself.

Charles looked at them and nod his head." We wouldn't want make matters worst. We should all go to our rooms ,the matter will be handle in the palace." He said finally turning to bow at Alex before retreating out of the room.

He was followed suit by Adam and Eliza who both bowed at Alex before leaving the room.

Reina thought that Alex would leave ,but to her surprise he walked up to the door and closed it ,locking the booth he walked up to were she was ,standing in front of her making her look up to face him. She swallowed when she saw the expression in his lake blue eyes.

"It's late milord." She said in a shaky voice. "You should get going."

He didn't answer but kept staring at her ,she could feel her cheek starting to heat at his gaze.

"Your Highness please, you're invading my personal space." She said breathless.

He leaned down and cupped her face with his large hand. Looking at her lips with intensity.

"I don't understand what you mean by personal space." He said grinning.

"You shouldn't be doing this,milord."

"Yes I should be doing thus and much more." He said leaning down his lips almost touching hers.

Her cheeks turned red and her heart started to beat even faster.

"Milord, please let me go I am not very comfortable with this." She said.

"No." He leaned down brushing her hair off her ear and bit he earlobe. She inhaled at the sudden action." I wanted to touch you so badly ,do you know how hard it was for me to not touch you?"

Not touch her." Milord I don't understand."

"Don't play dumb Reina."

"But I don't know what you're talking about."

He brushed her lips gently with a kiss and pulled back looking at her strangely. "What were you doing inside the forest,my sweet little girl?"
