Chapter 06

The next day, azares was filled with students. Today is the first day of school but the dorms still have few students. This is because some students live in the town while others are still to come.

Yoshi woke up early took a bath and dress himself. He is wearing a black shirt with a matching trouser. Yoshi walk out of his room heading out,on his way he met a few students and greeted them. Once he was out he noticed that some students are already there .

He walk around analyzing the students with observe but there are few who caught his attention. Yoshi walk forward where chairs are placed infront of the administration, some students are already sitted. When he was approaching he noticed a pink haired girl with a blue haired one sitting at the side, that is Yuri and her new friend. Yuri noticed him and wave at him. He went and sat with them and yuri made the presentation.

'I should really stop using this skill on every single person i meet' yoshi said inside his mind. The skill doesn't use mana but it affects his mind somehow.

After sitting for at least half an hour the teachers finally arrived.

They are five teachers. A big man with red hair and an eye patch covering his left eye. He is wearing a black coat with a matching trouser and measures at least 2 meters. Next was a woman with blonde hair with deep brown eyes and she was covered with jewelries. The next person is the shortest man present here. He got white hair covering his eyes and a long beard,he is wearing a witch hat with a matching shirt and trouser. Next is Drake, and the last one is a woman with short purple hair with matching eye color. She is wearing a white tank-top with black trouser with a bored expression on her face.

The ceremony was boring but the interesting part is when they were told that every student will be tested to determine their level of power which will help the teachers to focus on those who need them,some were excited to show their strength while others are not. After everything is said, the students were divided into three groups for the test. Yoshi is with Sarah in the same group whie yuri is in another group but he didn't worry about her since he helped her train. Yoshi's group walk towards the person testing them and it turns out that it is the woman with purple hair.

Meanwhile in the training hall there is drake with George,the big man at the ceremony. There is a drum like device connected with pipes to a crystal. Students are called to hit the the drum which will cause the crystal to shine indicating the level of power used. Drake is the one carrying out the test ,he is writing down the results of each student.

"Do you think she will keep anyone this year around?"George asked

"It depends"he answered before calling the next student

"On what?"George asked back with curiosity.

"On who she got like students."Drake answered

"Hah,there is no way she will have students with that kind of power she expects at their age."George countered.

BANG

Just when Drake was about to answer, the noise made from the drum attract their attention which was followed by the bright light from the crystal. The hall was dead silent with yuri standing infront of the drum and all eyes on her. The first to break the silence was George.

"Hahahahaha, that is quite powerful coming from a young lady. What is your name"George asked

"My name is Yuri"she answered calmly but she was everything but calm inside.

"Very well lady yuri. I am looking forward to seeing your growth."George said to which yuri answered with a nod and walk out of the hall.

Drake on the other hand is having a hard time.

'what did i do to get one of the monsters under my watch. Sigh, at least she seems normal except for her physical strength.' drake wanted to get himself away from yoshi and he even put him in that crazy woman's group but he forgot about his sister who can also be scary sometimes.

"Next"Drake said tiredly after taking some notes while students were murmuring among themselves.

Meanwhile at the school compound, yoshi and Sarah stood infront of a wall created by earth magic. Their teacher is sitting on top of the wall while a student's shout for help can be heard from outside. So far,it is either cries for help or complete silence. Yoshi gave Sarah a worried look after the cries stopped.

"Blue, your turn."she said looking at yoshi

Yoshi gulp down saliva before walking towards the door on the earth wall. The moment he entered the door disappeared and he was greeted by what seems like an arena. He is the only person there until a beast appeared on the other end of the arena.

Yoshi understood the other students reaction when facing a C rank beast at their age. He glanced at the woman on the wall who did not give him any attention but he was pulled back when the bull charged at him with great speed. It is faster than he expected but he still manage to roll to the side before being hit. Yoshi quickly jump back to make some distance between him and his opponent and took a fighting stance and gave a quick look at his status.
