Without knowing where to go, Tamra hires a Taxi. The driver Ravi suggests she goes to his village Dantla, where she has many research sites. Agreeing to this, both reach Dantla. When she enters the village, she sees an abandoned burnt house. When she enquires about it, “Why don’t you go and ask your grandfather about it?” says an old woman with contempt. She also warns Tamra to leave the village immediately otherwise, she had to face the wrath of Tamra! Thinking the old woman must be senile, Tamra stays at Ravi’s house as a paying guest. The night she sets eyes on Kamal, she feels something strange and faints. That night, without her knowledge she wanders the deserted streets of Dantla and enters the burnt house. My Name is Tamra....

Chapter 19:

The Sanyasi and the 4 people were sitting under a shamiana which was not there a few minutes back. "Have you ever wondered about time?" he asked. "What is there to wonder about? A day constitutes 24 hours, when it's over another day comes. That all!" Tamra thought. But without expecting any answer, the sanyasi continued. "Listen Kids! Time is the most magical thing God had ever created. A human's journey starts from mother's womb, as the time goes, it slowly develops into a baby. It's a very ordinary phenomena, we see everywhere. Right?" all of them nodded expecting what was going to follow. "How does an embryo know, when is the time for brain growth, when is the time for heart and limbs? Does a mother tell her baby? Leave alone humans, you see grass, trees and many plants. Who tell them when to flower, when to fall and when to wither? This world rotates on the axis called time. The time is embedded in our body. Yours, mine and everyone's. Our ancestors knew that time was the God thing in this world. So, they worshipped him with the name of Kaal Bhairav. Time travels in a straight line. No back, only front. But some humans due to their Karma, make time bend its way for them. India had witnessed a few Mahan who made the time bend for them. "Sanyasi stopped.

Tamra was thinking hard. "What this sanyasi said is correct. Time travels linearly. No curve no bend. How does he know that? Yeah! To this day, I have never thought about plants and animals. What is that to do with our story?" The sanyasi continued. "You should not confuse with time being God! Time is a God made thing for earth. Kaal Bhairav controls the time. As I said, humans sometime even animals with their Karma, extreme anger, or hatred scream to God! Listening to such souls, God makes a little amendment to the time line. One such amendment is Arunika and you Kamal! Yielding to the pleadings of Old Tamra, God made both of you take re birth. But he put a test at this also." stopped the sanyasi.

According to Tamra, what he said was just collection of words, did not carry any meaning to Tamra. What she understood from his speech, that time is very important. But when he said, there was a test by the time, she became cautious. Tamra never trusted any baba. According to her everyone was fake, taking the money of innocent people. She wanted to talk to Ravi and Kamal in private. But that was not possible. So, she listened.

"Please tell us Babaji!" said Trikala with fear. "The time is going to take the test of Kamal and Tamra along with Ravi and you too! Old Tamra wants vengeance! That too through Arunika and Birju. Birju is Kamal, no problem in that. But Tamra is born in Rathore family. This means, she will go through lots of tests. Whether she will succeed? That depends on her mind power and Karma." Said the Sanyasi. Tamra started laughing at all of them. Kamal and Trikala begged her to be quiet. But she went on to speak. "Baba! You are too clever! You knew I come from a rich family. If you say, I am the one who would undergo lots of tests, you were aware of the money I could give you to avert this. That's' why you chose me!". Trikala and Kamal were really afraid of the sanyasi's reaction. But he simply smiled.

"You are mistaken child! I am not the one who chose you! In fact, both of us are chosen by Old Tamra and destiny. Coming to speak of wealth, I don't want any wealth dear! If wanted, I would build an ashram, do fortune telling, mint money through that. All I want is a piece of cloth, a staff, holy ash and one meal a day. That's all! I know you cannot go back to your family. So don't boast about your wealth to me!" All these words were told in a calm way.

But it stung Tamra's pride. Kamal and Trikala asked pardon on behalf of her. Ravi kept quiet. "What is our karma? Why we have come back Babaji? Is there something Old Tamra wants us to do?" asked Kamal eagerly. He was bend to please that sanyasi.

"Yes! You have a mission to perform! At the end of the mission, I don't know how many of you will be alive!" Said Sanyasi in a cold voice. Kamal was really worried about the safety of Tamra. "Is there any other remedy for it Babaji?" asked he. "No child! This is a game of destiny and time. There is only one way, that is the toughest one." Said Sanyasi. "First tell us what are you planning involving us?" asked Ravi sceptically. Sanyasi looked at him and smiled. "You may be a nonbeliever, but you have intelligence. It's not me, planning anything Ravi, it's the destiny and time along with old Tamra. I am playing my role in this. That's all!".

"Stop talking in riddles Babaji. Why don't you tell us what we have to do? Then we will decide whether we agree or not?" said Tamra with irritation.

"Old Tamra wants vengeance! A cruel, heartless vengeance! She wants the Rathore family dead in the way she was put to death!" said Sanyasi. Those words sent chill to Tamra and Ravi. But Kamal and Trikala remained unaffected. Trikala was even enthusiastic. "That is natural Babaji! What old Tamra wants is justice. No court will give her that. So, what she wants is fair! But How to do this?" asked Trikala. Tamra could not believe her ears. A man covered in holy ashes is talking about murdering her entire family, and Trikala was justifying the act! What do they think of themselves? This not 17th century. They were in 21st. "Our entire family to be murdered you say? Then what will happen? The police and the court will leave you?" asked Tamra angrily.

"There are more things to worry, than court and police! Tamra! You are also included in the Rathore family by blood. So, Old Tamra want you dead as well! But Birju and you must unite in this birth. That is the destiny too!" said Sanyasi. "Excuse me Babaji! You are contradicting your word. You said Old Tamra wants Madam dead! If she is dead, then how can she be united with Birju? He had to die too?" asked Ravi sarcastically. "Hey! Hey! Stop! What do you mean by unite? I have to marry this uneducated, middleclass man? Never in my life, that's going to happen!" yelled Tamra. Kamal was deeply wounded by the way she talked about him. "We need not unite Tamra madam! But old Tamra's vengeance had to be fulfilled! That is our mission." Said Kamal in a small voice.

Tamra clapped her hands. "Very Good Kamal! You want me to support you in your mission of destroying my family! What nerve you have? I have a doubt, whether it's all a well plotted scheme to deceive me. You have mixed something in my food, which caused me to hallucinate, then you told me a story about friendship and love. Now you want me to murder my family, so that you can get all the wealth through me! "Yelled Tamra. Kamal was hurt and got angry. "Nonsense. I never know you before I set my eyes on you! How do I know, my brother Ravi will bring you to my house? Trikala here has told you many things even before I know you! Think Tamra! Not everyone is after money like your family!" Kamal's voice echoed in the desert. "Tamra! You have become a puppet in the hands of destiny. Your bad Karma is influencing you now. That's why you are not able to think straight. I will tell you some Mantras, chant them for 101 times. Your bad karma will go away!" said the sanyasi in a trembling voice.

"Oh! There is a Mantra for hypnotism too?" Tamra asked. "Tamra! Please calm down! Let us narrow down the problem. Kamal, you should not open your mouth till I finish speaking." Said Sanyasi commandingly. Kamal and Trikala bowed. "Listen Tamra! What is your problem? Tell me?" asked Sanyasi. "What is my problem? You are my problem Babaji! You want me to murder my family cruelly. I refuse to do that, and I am going to report you to the police!" said Tamra fiercely. Again, the Sanyasi laughed. "Karma! All depends on the Karma! But child, old Tamra won't let you go out of Dantla unless the vengeance is complete!" said the sanyasi. "Who is old Tamra? There is no one like that. You people heard my rare name cooked up a story, planned everything. Old Tamra, burnt to death, what stories? I am going to Jaipur this minute, let me see, what so called old Tamra does to stop me?" saying these, Tamra turned toward the village. "Madam! I will take you back to Jaipur. I am also really suspicious about the motives of Trikala and my own brother. "Said, Ravi following her.

Both walked a few steps, suddenly a sand storm started blowing. A storm which occurred only near Tamra and Ravi. Both were caught inside the storm, their nose, eyes everywhere the desert sand started spreading. Kamal and Trikala were amazed and horrified at the same time. Suddenly Kamal knelt down in the sand. "Tamra, it's you who is doing this! Please stop for my sake! I am your friend Birju, so is Arunika. Please pardon her. Pardon my brother also, who is not connected at all. In this birth I have certain duties to perform. One of them is my sister's wedding. If Ravi and Tamra die, we face a lot of problem. Please Tamra, for my sake pardon her!" pleaded Kamal with folded hands.

Suddenly the sand storm stopped as it came. Ravi and Tamra were dishevelled. Their hair, dress everything was shabby. Tamra was shivering due to fear. "What is this? I don't understand!" said Ravi in a small voice. There was silence in the sand dune place. Slowly Tamra recovered from the shock. Trikala ran to her and held her, but she pushed her away.

"Now you see? I told you old Tamra won't let you go out of Dantla. Do you believe now?" asked the Sanyasi. "I still think, it's your handy work Babaji! For a man who can make shamiana appear out of thin air, creating a storm is not difficult. It's all your doing!" said Tamra with fear and anger.

"You fool! Don't you have any knowledge? Air, earth, fire, sky and water are basic five elements of God. You cannot control them by magic. You can make appear or disappear only manmade objects. Only God's messengers could do miracles on five elements. Not a sanyasi like me! Understand?" for the first time Sanyasi yelled. Even Ravi was afraid. Slowly Tamra came to senses.

Somewhere she had also read about not able to perform magic on these five elements. The gravity of the situation came to her with full force!

What was she going to do? Old Tamra won't leave her without completing the vengeance. If the vengeance was to be completed, her entire family had to die, by her own hands. Her mother who had nothing to do with the past sins had to die a painful death too! Tamra felt a sever catch in her heart. Another fact hit her fiercely. Now Tamra was also a Rathore, that means she had to die too! "Oh! My God! What have I done? How can I come out of this mess? Will I ever be able to step out of this God forsaken place?" Tamra's head started swirling. With a thud she fell down on the desert sand.
