Chapter 1.Y/N's Backstory

Young Y/N's POV:

I wake up to the smell of pancakes and waffles,I rushed downstairs to see my parents doing their usual daily morning routine.

"Morning mom and dad"I said as I entered the kitchen looking at them.Nothing but silence had filled the room with a weird tension between all three of us while my mom served me some pancakes."Y/N"my mother finally spoke."Please do your best so we can be proud of you for once"dad said coldly as I had finished my last pancake."Y-yes father..."I sad in a sad tone of voice as I headed out the door for Kindergarten.

You see,I'm only 5 and they still expect the best from me,no matter what,even with my quirks.I was born in America and I was brought here to Japan because of my parents when I was only 3,they both thought that Japan had the best schools so...here I am.Luckily...my parents had taught me English and Japanese,so I can understand pretty much everything here.

My quirks are Teleportation,Healing,Ice and Blue Flames,I had got the Teleportation and Healing quirks from my grandparents and the other 2 from my parents.They're pretty cool,I just need to learn how to control them a lot more better,so when I go into combat,I'll be ready.I'm not like ordinary girls because,I dress and act different,I want to be stronger.....for my....parents.I went out the door and I walked to my school,since it wasn't that far from my house.

When I was almost entering my Kindergarten,I see a dual-hared boy with white and red hair,by himself,I walked up to him and I said"Hi,my name is Y/N L/N,what's yours?."He slowly looked at me and said"M-my name is Shoto Todoroki"he said,a little shyly.We soon started to talk little by little,and it lasted all throughout Kindergarten.I finally made a new friend on my first day!

When it was time to go home,I had offered Shoto if he wanted to hang out and he agreed,I told him to see if his and my parents would agree to let us hang out or do some training at the park.His parents allowed him,my parents almost said no,but they were somehow convinced since it would be for "training purposes."We had soon met up at the park that was closer to both of our houses until 9 pm.

-Time Skip-

It was already 9,Shoto and I said our goodbyes and we both said that we will see each other tomorrow,we then walked our separate ways to our homes.When I got home,my parents were asleep,"That's good"I thought.

I took off my shoes and I went up stairs to go to sleep.I put on my pj's and I drifted off to sleep,thinking of my new friend.

-Months Later-

My parents had told me that we would be moving,I was sad that I had to leave Todoroki behind for my parents selfish desire.They both told me that I could go to school today,"One last time"I told myself as a tear slowly fell down my cheek,"Y/N,are you crying?"my mother had said to me in a cold tone,"N-no w-why?"I told her,"We don't allow crying in this house,EVER"my dad said in a harsh tone,"Y-yes father"I said as I wiped my tears away."Just go to school since it's your last day Y/N,we already informed your teacher."my mother said finally,"Yes m-ma'm"I said when leaving my house.

When I have arrived,Shoto went and gave me a hug and greeted me,I told him hi while giving him a sad look,"What's wrong Y/N?"Shoto said.I said nothing,he gave me pleading eyes,"Dang it,that always works on me,I can't say no to him or that face"I thought to myself."I h-h-have to move"I said to him as tears started falling,"W-why?"he said,"My parents said that I-I have to l-leave Japan and g-go to America,t-they told me that i-it was for t-the best"more tears started falling."Well w-we have to make the most of it today b-before you leave then"he told me,shy but determined."O-ok"I told him.For the rest of the day,we had fun and hung out until it was time.

"S-shoto"I said,"Yes Y/N?"he asked,"P-promise me that you will write to me everyday"I said while looking at him,"I p-promise Y/N."

...

And just like that,we kept writing to each other everyday when I left Japan....I still miss him though.
