CHAPTER 6

THE NEXT DAY

Crystal quickly wakes up to the sounds of fighting downstairs. What if Alberto and Roberto are fighting? 

She stands up and unlocks the door of her room before opening it and rushing downstairs. The doors to the kitchen were open and she takes a peek inside; Roberto's mom and dad were arguing over and over again because of Roberto.

Looks like Roberto started to sell drugs once again at different clubs, just like he did when Crystal met him.

"Don't mind them, they always argue." , a deep voice says behind me. This time I know it isn't Roberto.

"What are they fighting for?" , I ask without turning to look at Alberto.

He sighs. "My brother started to sell drugs once again, Crystal. He left this morning, at exactly 7 AM, to a club somewhere in the center of the city."

My eyes widen. "But he promised me he would stop doing that! What an asshole.." , I say as I turn to Alberto. "When will he come back?"

"I don't know. Probably after midnight, like he always does."

After midnight?! And when i thought he changed... 

"Sorry I disappointed you, Crystal. But that's how he is. And he won't change any time sooner." , he continued. 

1:23 AM

I was in the living room. All this time i had been waiting for Roberto to arrive back home, until i finally hear the door open.

It was finally Roberto, but so damn drunk.

Crystal stands up, her arms crossed. "Where the hell have you been, Roberto? It's past midnight and you can barely keep yourself from fainting!"

Roberto falls onto the couch. "I-I.. drunk.." , he stutters.

"I can fucking see that! Tell me why the hell you started to sell those damn drugs once again, you promised me you would stop!" , she continues, clearly mad at Roberto.

And because of this, a bad fight occurred..
