Facts to make you like rats

(Rats are ticklish and giggle at a sound frequency that humans can't hear. Mice and rats blush when their happy and you can tell, when their ears turn into a vivid pink. Rats are extremely clean and they spend a lot of time grooming and washing themselves. Not only that, but they bond by cleaning each other and that's called allogrooming and for a rat the ultimate sign of trust is letting someone else do their hair. Rats are beat freaks that will occasionally organize their food in piles. Pet mice can for emotionally bonds with humans, not only will they react in excitement when they hear you voice, but they will try to groom you like your apart or it's family. They are extremely intelligent and can show empathy and compassion. Rats got racially profiled because god made them easily accessible to diseases, but they actually weren't even the reason that the plague clapped 200 million people. Scientists believe people caught the plague from other people and it spread from there. Rats sing like song birds when their extremely happy. When I was researching this I was surprised and now I love them. To bad I have a cannibalistic lizard that eats anything and everything.)

<A few moments later>

The kids body twitched and her eyes shot open. She jumped to her feet and looked around the cave then at us.

"Before you start screaming, what's your name?" I said slightly annoyed at how many times this has happened in just an hour.

"...My name is Dalinda. I'm-"

"The dragon kings 673rd daughter. I know, tell me about this pool and why it has so much energy coming from it." I said pointing at the pool behind us.

"IT IS NOT A POOL!!...that is the pond of Nova, my fathers father and the first born dragon." She said.

"So what does this pond have to do with Nova" Alice asked as she sat down cross legged midair. I looked at her with surprise and she just winked at me.

"Nova was the one that found this place. This magic pond is made from his blood and the other fallen nobles over time. We take having our bodies being used for the power of this island as a honor." She said looking at the water.

"What happened to all of the other dragons?" I asked making an invisible barrier from my Archine Energy to sit on. It looks like I'm floating in the air to other people.

{I can float too baby.} I lied.

{Oh really?}

{Yup}

{We'll see.} She said mysteriously.

When asked about the other dragons, the purple light came back and made more runes on the wall.

'The other half of the story.' I thought enthusiastically. I started reading them as they were being made.

That was when the Druids came out. They had enough of their home getting destroyed and they tried being quiet about it since they are good natured creatures, but the whole island's size was almost cut in half.

"Damn. I would have took action along time ago." I said looking at the runes with furrowed eyebrows.

The Druids came out and had a meeting with the current dragon king at the time which was Nova. They wanted the dragons to stop being so destructive of their home. The dragons being who they were didn't even consider the Druids to be here.

Even for dragons seeing a Druid is rare, so the possibility wasn't even considered. He would have made the agreement to tone down the destruction, but he didn't want to seem weak to his people.

Why would a king do as some grass lady say without hesitation. He declined the agreement arguing that if they was on the land that they should have declared it outright or made some type of sign or contact with them.

The king Nova and his 15 knight rank dragon kin didn't make it back.

"So let me get it straight. Nova came over to this land and claimed it his own without exploring at all and then they started going wild destroying stuff on land and even cut the island size in half. When a peaceful opportunity was presented to him, he let his pride get in the way and that got him and his guards killed." I said.

Dalinda looked down and like she regretted that happening as well.

"It's a dragons pride. It gets in the way of everything and we can't go with reasonable things unless we demanded it." She said.

"Doesn't that mean he was a foolish dragon. What happened to the older you are the wiser you are? Dragons are supposed to be semi-immortal, so why couldn't any of you get past your pride?" Alice asked.

"I don't know it was like a curse to us. We just couldn't control it, like we had to be the dominant ones in life itself." She said slightly frustrated.

"I see. What I'm really surprised about is how ruthless the Druids were. Even though all of their anger was warranted, to just straight up murk the guy is...unexpected. Though it doesn't matter since there was obviously a war afterwards." I said.

"Yeah it's pretty predictable of what came after, but what does any of that have to do with this pond?" Alice asked point to the pond.

"The Druids demanded that we give our magical powers to get the island back to its original self and that it had to be done in this mountain. Over time the story was mixed up and made to be looked at as an honor instead of us getting owned by some grass ladies." She said looking at the water with rage this time.

"So what did you mean when you first met us. You said something about the water working for the right people?"

"I said that because the pond will pass it's magical power to the right person who will revive the dragon race and avenge my great grandfather. That person will also be my husband." She said.

"I see. Then that's good I guess, but we have to go since we're actually on vacation. Cya." I said and picked up Alice to leave.

"Wait!!"

"Hm?" I hummed.

"For now your the strongest man I know, so I claim you as mine." She said looking at me intently.

"N-" I was about to blatantly decline her when Alice popped her head in her direction. Her eyes looked like they were piercing Dalinda's soul. Then her eyes rolled to the back of her head and she fell to the floor. Unconscious...again.

I looked back at Alice in confusion, surprise, and a jumble of other emotions.

"What are you waiting for let's go." Alice grumbled. With a sigh I kicked a whole in the mountain that fixed itself and jumped down and out of it.

(This chapter was shorter than usual and most likely confusing, but later on everything will be put together like a puzzle, also SOL still continues. I was also making this on the go so deal with it.)
