Chapter 1 - Job Interview?

"Argh. Why am i feeling so sick?"

Suddenly, i felt an invisible force pulling me once more, and when i finally stopped moving, i saw that i was in my body again.

But something happened that would give me nightmares for a long time.

Electric discharges, like golden lightnings, struck my skin and my body began to disintegrate. First the skin, then the muscles and tendons, and finally the bones.

Then for the third time i felt that invisible force pulling me once more.

The entire floor was like a stained glass window and golden lightnings, similar to the ones that gave me my new body, appeared below the floor, in a lightning effect similar to a plasma ball.

Looking ahead was a long white marble counter, that looked like ceramics, divided into 5 sections. Each section had a beautiful woman in white angel-like clothes.

They had golden hair, and eyes like diamonds with an indistinguishable color between blue and green.

You couldn't see much of their bodies as they were wearing silver battle armor. But their faces were as if carved by the greatest Gregorian artists.

Above each of the women's heads, was a rectangular hologram that showed a number, from 1 to 5.

Stairs made of milky green crystal curved up to the next floor along the sides of the large balcony.

Several people walked to and fro, each one with different sets of clothes and armor.

"Hello!"

"AH!" - I screamed desperate with the jumpscare i just took.

Everyone stopped and looked at me briefly then went about their own business ignoring me.

Turning to the side i saw that there was a woman, similar to those at the big counter, beside me with what looked like to be a clipboard of solid light like a hologram.

"My name is Melissa, and i'm here to be your guide." - Melissa said with a smile that would steal the heart of even an old man like me.

Following her i confirmed what the counter with the numbers was for, where the stairs led, where my room is and how I could start my chores.

After i got to my room, i realized how exhausted i was, from the amount of revelations and information i received, and how much i needed to rest.

Saying goodbyes to Melissa, i lay down on my new bed and finally after a stressful day i slept.

The other day, i woke up in a strange room, but after a few seconds of confusion, the memories and the harsh reality finally came back to me.

'According to what Melissa told me yesterday, the beginner training should start today at 9:00 am. Hmm, I still have an hour. Better go down to the lobby and get ready.'

I left my room which locked itself.

"Hahaha, that's what i'm talking about! Umu, umu." - Emily said dancing with her hands up.

"Very well, now it's just you, John!" - Melissa said with a warm smile.

*Sigh* "Whatever God wants." - I said a little nervous.

I walked towards the roulette wheel and pulled the lever. The roulette wheel started to spin and very interesting characters were passing before my eyes. Every second my expectations grew until finally the roulette wheel started to slow down.

That's it guys, tell me what you think of the first chapter of my new fanfic. I've learned a lot over the past few months and I'm finally starting to see the results. I'm sorry if there seemed to be too many explanations or stuff like that, but i needed to get this out of the way first, so i could focus on the story.
