Interruptions

She ceased glaring at the audience in front of her. "Great. You all may leave and on your way out take a flier. I expect everyone to attend this banquet in New York with your families."

One by one they left and there was one person in the room, well two to be accurate, just one family.

"Mister Lin, are you ready to sign the documents," Max asked holding the pen out for him.

Old Lin looked at Zoey begging, "Miss, there-"

"No, father, there is no need for you to sell our estate," Julong interrupted, then got up and snatched the paper that was in front of Old Lin.

Old Lin started cursing in Chinese, "You little shit sit down! You have no right! You bastard! Sit down, right now!"

"No." Julong's voice was flat and calm as he replied.

Old Lin got up and tried to push him down yet he couldn't, so he raised his hands to hit Julong. Right before his hand landed on Julongs cheek Max stopped him.

"Both of you separate yourselves!" Zoey commanded as she walked towards them.

Neither of them moved, so Max and Don quickly moved Julong away from his father.

Zoey changed her path from Old Lin to Julong as she reached for her gun. It wasn't the latest or a limited edition gun, it was a simple handgun G-19.

Julongs eyes followed her hands and he froze, she smiled taking in a slight breath of fear that was in the air. The fear was one of the greatest feelings in the world to see but never to feel.

She motioned for him to sit down and Julong did so almost as if it was automatic. She gave a glance at Max who went back to Old Lin with a different stack of paper and pen.

"I was going to only take the pretty mountain, but now I feel too greedy, so I also want the house that is in Guilin."

Julongs eyes shot up, his tone was calm but hurried, "Father please don't."

Zoey sighed looking towards Old Lin as she said, "As much as I like handsome men, Old Lin your son is too naive. If he opens that pretty mouth of his one more time, I will be a lot greedier than I am right now."

Julong took the only chance he had when Zoey looked away to grab the gun. He was able to point it at her. Zoey smiled inside her head but on the outside, she remained calm.

She gave Don and Max a look to relax and asked Julong, "You sure you wanna do this?"

"What do you mean?" Julong was questioning when he was elbowed in the stomach, and the gun softly flew from his hand as he felt Zoey push him back down on the chair.

Zoey pointed a gun to his head, as she commanded Old Lin, "Sign the damn papers. I had enough fun for the day."

Old Lin quickly signed as Max collected the papers. Once he was done, She took the detachable magazine of the Glock out to reveal that it was empty.

She smirked, "You really think I would put this beautiful face in danger." She chuckled looking at Julong.

"Thank you, for your help. I will be sure to support you in your choice of career from this point on." She looked at Don as he handed her a new magazine filled with bullets that she inserted into the gun.

She walked towards Old Lin. "I will see you next week. Next time I will get what I want with or without any interruptions," she finished while shooting in Julongs directions. The bullets missed his head by two inches.
