Zachary Roosevelt

I am hosting a party here in my Mansion to know anyone who is in the business world and to know who are my opponents and allies, even though I don't need it but there's nothing wrong doing this right?

by the way I was in the middle of the discussion with Mr. Valencia when Mathew Smith approached us with his daughter

"do you mind if we cut in?" Mr. Smith said

"Mr. Smith" I greeted "No, please have a sit" I said to him

"Mr. Roosevelt let me introduce to you my daughter Bea, Bea he is Zachary Roosevelt the Famous businessman" he introduced

"Hello Zach" Bea said

and she offered her hand for a handshake and I took it

"it's nice to finally meet you" she continued not letting go of my hand

"Same here" I replied to her without showing any interest "please have a sit" I offered to her again

"thank you for inviting us Zach your place is amazing" she said and lean toward the table enough to reveal her cleavage on her red fitted dress

"it is" I replied to her and looked to Mr. Smith

"Anyway Mr. Smith how was the business?" I asked Mr. Smith ignoring his daughter

"it is good still on the track according to my will" he said confidently and I nod to his answer

not knowing I know how he handle his businesses

"that's good to hear, please enjoy the party I should go welcoming other guest"

after I said that I left and go to the kitchen

I don't know why I go this way but I just want to leave that place for awhile

when I enter the kitchen everyone is busy they didn't notice my presence, that's good that means they're really doing their job seriously but there's one girl catches my attention she's only wearing white T-shirt, black jeans and white sneakers, her hair was bun in a messy way and she's wearing a black apron

she looks beautiful but who is she and why is she here?

I walked toward her direction without leaving my eyes on her, I stop five step from her just enough that she can feel my presence and she did, in a second she looked at me

"uhm--" she's trying to say but she looks confused and scared? but before she could say anything I cut her off

"Who are you and what are you doing here?" I asked her with my strong and demanding voice

"I- uhm- I-I just want to help" she said stuttering I'm glad I have an affect on her

and Cindy one of my employee arrive and stand beside her and said

"Young Master she is Lucy's niece she just arrived thirty minutes ago and she offered to help" Cindy said

she is Lucy's niece?

"No, she can't help I don't let someone in my kitchen unless it's a professional you know that Cindy and I'm sure you can do your job just fine unless you don't want this job anymore well I won't hesitate to fire you" I said to her straight off

and then I look to her

"and you, stay out of the kitchen" I also said to her

and without saying anything she take off her apron and walked out

I watch her walking away and after that I go back to the party, I'am infront of the double door of the party hall when I felt something guilt at what I just did to her, but should I felt this way?

I tried to divert my thoughts the guard open the door for me and lots of guest greet me and talk to me about business and some other staff like marriage but still I can't focus this is annoying

"Mr. Roosevelt are you okay?" Mr Valencia asked

"I think I just need some fresh air" I replied to him

" please make yourselves comfortable"and I said to others who are with me

I go to the back garden where I always go when I need some time to think, and when I enter I saw that girl sleeping on the bench she looks tired and cold

tsk I can't believe this

I take off my suit and put it on her to lessen the coldness she felt and I walked back in the mansion wearing only my white longsleeve when I saw two guards roaming the mansion I called them without thinking, I guess there's nothing wrong about it she's lucy's niece after all, my most trustie employee

"Good evening Master Z" they greeted and I nodded to them before saying

"Don't let someone enter that garden for now and watch over that girl inside she's lucy's niece" I said in my serious and commanding tone

"Yes master Z" they said again in chorus and after that I left them

Arabella Parker

"Master Z, are you okay?"

I heard someone running and shouting

"What is that noise?"

I asked in a sleepy tone

I open my eyes and sat up I notice a jacket on me and I looked around, that's when I see three men near the entrance two men wearing a guard uniform helping the other one wearing a black slacks and white loong sleeves with a blood stain on it to sit properly

"Oh my gosh, what happened?" I asked shock and run towards them

and that's when I noticed that he's the mean guy earlier

"We need to call the ambulance" I suggested

"I'll do it" one guard offered and leave

while I sat next to him and pressed his wound firmly to stop it's bleeding he squeak a bit when I did it he was shot ob the back of his shoulder thank God it was not fatal

but he's closing his eyes

"hey are you okay, can you hear me?" I asked him

and he looked at me in the eye I caught off guard he has a beautiful deep blue eyes

"I'm okay and I can hear you loud and clear"

he answered like he's not affected by his wound and after he said that he closed his eyes again

maybe he's just acting cool

"then why are you closing your eyes?" I asked him again

"I am thinking and if you're asking what is it it's none of your business" he answered

while glaring at me, why do I have this feeling that whatever I say or do is not right infront of him?

then fine we have a mutual feelings about that, like I said earlier I don't like him but I can't leave him in this situation even though he's a mean guy

"I think you're just acting cool" I murmured

and I just silently pressing his wound while the two guards waiting for the ambulance to arrive

I guess the party was over it's already 1:32 in the morning

and later on the ambulance is here I let go of him and let them do the job, I watch as they help him lay on the stretcher and they push it into the ambulance, there's a guy in suit go with him,

and aunt lucy and the other's was now standing beside me, and we watch them leave.
