U.S.J. & Aftermath

A few days after the Infiltration fiasco

Cloud was on his way to the USJ for their rescue trials. He whistled while he was walking with Kumo on his back, alone. Izuku looked at him from far and said "He doesn't have a quirk?" Tenya shook his head and Ochako said "He's really strong though!" Izuku watched Cloud from a far and felt closer to Cloud as he also didn't have a quirk until All Might gave him his, he caught up to Cloud and said "Hey Cloud!"

Cloud looked at him and said "Hey." Izuku scratched his head and said "I heard you didn't have a quirk.." Cloud narrowed his eyes and Izuku continued "I actually didn't have one before either. I got my from someone else." Cloud was taken a back and said "Really?" Izuku smiled and nodded saying "Yeah! It's really hard to control though and every time I use it I destroy my body." he sighed and said "I guess I just need to train more.. What do you do for training?" as he tried to make conversation.

Cloud rubbed his chin and said "I usually do..." he went on about his training routine and it piled on and on as Izuku's eyes widened at the sheer amount of training he did. Cloud finished "After that I eat and train with my sword before eating again and going to sleep, but that's only on the weekends unfortunately. We have school the rest of the time." Izuku said "You don't take breaks?" Cloud shook his head and said "I don't have anything else to rely on. I have to train as hard as I possibly can just to keep up.. If I want to be a real strong hero I have to break my limits everyday."

Izuku stared at him in admiration and said "That's so cool!" Cloud smiled slightly and said "I guess.." Izuku said "What about your parents?" Cloud lost his smile and said "I was abandoned in an alley when they found out I was quirkless." Izuku grimaced and said "I'm sorry I didn't mean to.." Cloud sighed and waved "It's fine, I don't care anymore. I heard they said I died and had a new kid, who has quirks."

Izuku patted his shoulder and said "I'm sorry. How old were you?" Cloud said "7 years old." he pointed to his scarred eye and said "I got that in a fight over food when I was 9." he shook his head and said "If it wasn't for that old lady I would be half-blind." as he sighed. Izuku was silent for a moment before saying "Do you have a place to stay now? Because if you don't you can come stay with me."

Cloud smiled and said "Thank you but I have a place now. I live with Aizawa, he took me in 5 years ago." Izuku smiled and said "Maybe we can do something on the weekend?" Cloud said "Alone?" Izuku grimaced and said "Probably with some of the other classmates.." Cloud was hesitant and said "I don't think they would want to.. Maybe some other time.." Izuku frowned and said "Do you have a phone?" Cloud nodded and gave him his phone, Izuku put his number in it before texting himself and adding Cloud as he said "I'll add you to the class groupchat!"

Cloud looked at the class group chat and saw Izuku say 'Hey guys! Cloud joined!' he sighed at the no responses and said "Thanks Izuku for being nice. Don't force everyone to be my friend if they don't want to." Izuku handed his phone back to him and smiled "I'll be your friend, the rest will come around too!" Cloud smiled and thanked him as he left to join Tenya and Ochako again.

He looked at the phone and sighed before putting it back in his pocket, at least he had one friend in his class and Mei. He smiled as he thought of her, maybe he should go see her after the trails, he blushed and thought 'For tech purposes obviously' he walked forward and stood next to Aizawa, away from the group, as he said "I made a friend."

Aizawa said "About time." Cloud said "What is that supposed to mean?" Aizawa said "You haven't made a single friend.. well expect for that girlfriend of yours." Cloud said "She's not my girlfriend!" Aizawa yawned and said "Sure, Sure. Whatever you say." Cloud grit his teeth and grumbled as the group walked to the USJ.

Upon arrival

They were greeted by the Space Hero, Thirteen. Ochako cheered at her favorite superhero and he waved and said "Hello everyone. I'm Thirteen. I'll be explaining your trials today." he talked about using their quirks for saving lives and what they would be doing, he finished his speech and a black portal appeared in front of them as people came out of it.

Aizawa was alarmed and said "Everyone get back! Thirteen protect the students, this is an attack!" Thirteen brought all the students together and moved them away from the villains as Aizawa was surrounded by himself, Cloud was alarmed and broke out from the group shouting "Dad!" as he slashed at a villain, who jumped away, and entered the circle with Aizawa, who stared at him and said "Dad?" Cloud was embarrassed and said "Sorry." Aizawa was quiet and the villains got closer.

Thirteen got the rest of the students to evacuate as some of them stared at Cloud, who charged in and cursed themselves for their own cowardice.

Cloud held Kumo and stared at the villains in front of him as he said "What if I accidentally kill someone?" Aizawa said "Sometimes it happens, especially if you use a sword." as he attacked the villains, easily dispatching them. Cloud got an adrenaline boost facing so many villains for the first time and shot forward.

He slashed one of the villains across the chest and ducked under another one, he grabbed his sheath and slammed it on the villain's chest, sending him to the ground before jumping back from an attack. He was surrounded by several villains who laughed at him and said "The kid without a quirk wants to be a hero!" Cloud grit his teeth and charged at the man who said that, he slashed across he chest and kicked him in the head, sending the villain up as he jumped from the ground and sliced down.

Kumo sliced him in half as the other villains were shocked, Cloud got back to the ground and threw up at the sight, he turned around and attacked another villain, slicing him across the chest and knocking him out with his sheath before going to someone else. Aizawa watched him fight while taking care of the villains around him, he sighed as he saw Cloud throw up but was impressed when he continued fighting, he hoped it wouldn't become an issue, sometimes things happen and people die. He decided to talk to him after.

Cloud jumped from villain to villain, slashing at them and knocking them out with the sheath. He started panting hard and getting slower but he was still surrounded, suddenly Izuku and Tsuyu appeared next to him and fought off the villains together. Cloud regulated his breathing and Izuku gave him a thumbs up saying "We got your back!" Cloud smiled and said "Thanks." as he turned to look at Aizawa, his pupils shrank and he ran towards him.

Cloud slashed at the man with hands all over his body, who was reaching out to grab Aizawa from behind. The man jumped back and said "Who are you." Cloud said "Who cares." and charged at him, swinging Kumo towards his head and the sheath towards his legs. The man ducked and took the sheath swing to the knee, causing him to buckle. Cloud kicked his face and slashed down, when a pitch black monster came out of a portal.

Kumo cut into it's shoulder but it didn't even flinch and punched Cloud in the chest, sending him flying across the facility while coughing out blood. He smashed into a rock and slumped to the ground before vomiting a mouthful of blood and breathing extremely heavily. Aizawa screamed "Kid!" as he tangled the monster and threw it across the facility into a wall in rage, Izuku and Tsuyu finished off the last villain and ran to check up on Cloud.

Cloud was breathing heavy as he looked up and saw Izuku and Tsuyu asking him if he was okay, he spit out blood and stood up slowly as he said "Yeah." he swayed from side to side as he walked forward towards Aizawa and the monster, Izuku grabbed him and said "You're obviously not okay! Stay here!" Cloud stabbed the sheath in the ground and squinted as he said "I'll never be a hero if I sit and watch without helping." he used the sheath as a crutch as he picked up speed and his body produced adrenaline as he got back into the fight.

Izuku and Tsuyu were stunned and Tsuyu said "He's crazy.." Izuku clenched his fist and said "He's right." as he chased after Cloud, Tsuyu croaked and followed the duo.

Cloud jumped over Aizawa and slashed down on the monster as hard as he could, Kumo got stuck in the monster's head and Cloud spun in the air, spinning the blade free as he landed behind the monster and slashed at it's legs, cutting them open.

The monster punched Aizawa into the ground, severely injuring him before turning around. Cloud put his sheath back onto his hip as he faced the monster alone and said "Get Aizawa to a safe place Izuku!" Izuku nodded and said "I'll be right back!" he picked up Aizawa and Tsuyu helped him bring him to a safe place, leaving Cloud with the monster.

Cloud held Kumo with two hands as he got into a stance, the monster screeched at him and charged forward punching at Cloud, who jumped and flipped over him, slashing at it's neck, leaving a deep cut and landing behind it. The monster turned around and punched him, Cloud blocked the punch with a slash and slid back a considerable distance as his arms shook from the impact.

The other students eventually defeated their opponents and watched from far away as Izuku brought Aizawa to the group. Eventually only Cloud was fighting the monster as the others had either gone for help or were recovering and watching Cloud.

Cloud ducked under a punch and slashed up, he was using all his strength in each swing, he cut into the monster's arm and Kumo got stuck as the monster punched at him, he let go of his sword and rolled out on the way. The monster threw Kumo away and it got stuck into a rock, Cloud cursed and jumped back repeatedly as the monster punched at him over and over again.

The students gasped and Izuku rushed towards Cloud, a few others chased after him and Tsuyu went for Cloud's sword.

Cloud tripped and fell backwards, dodging a punch by a hair. He pressed his hands on the ground and pushed off, smashing his heels into the monster's chin, knocking the monster's head up. He got up and grabbed it's arm as he grit his teeth and vein's popped out of his arms and he pulled the monster up, he lifted the monster over his head and smashed it head first into the ground.

The monster got up and punched Cloud in the back, sending him rolling on the ground as it charged at him as he coughed up blood and rolled away. He stood up and punched the monster in the face, doing absolutely nothing, he chuckled as a punch went towards his head, his life flashed before his eyes as he anticipated the punch only to see that nothing came.

Izuku punched the monster in the head, smashing it into the ground and destroying his own arm. A boy with red and white hair froze the monster and another kid with spiky red hair kicked the monster in the stomach, sending it rolling away. Cloud vomited a mouthful of blood again and his vision started getting blurry.

Tsuyu handed him his sword with her tongue, he thanked her and grabbed it before jumping at the monster and slashing towards it's neck. The monster rolled away and Cloud smashed the ground to pieces before getting kicked into a rock and collapsing. The other three attacked the monster together as Tsuyu hopped towards Cloud, she felt his pulse with her tongue and panicked, it was getting weaker by the second, he needed medical attention, fast.

The three got pummeled by the monster but before they were finished off All Might finally showed himself and punched the monster, sending it flying across the facility before chasing after it. The monster got up, seemingly un-injured and started fighting All Might fist for fist, somehow absorbing the impact from his fists and getting stronger.

Izuku noticed and remembered what the hand guy said 'This is Nomu, he's here to kill All Might specifically' it clicked, Nomu had a shock absorbing quirk! Cloud could cut him because it wasn't effective on swords only blunt impacts. He quickly relayed the information to All Might who nodded and fought with Nomu as the students went to Cloud, who was unconscious and dying slowly.

Izuku panicked as well and said "We need Tenya! Where did he go?!" Eijiro said "He went to get the teachers!" Izuku picked Cloud up and put Kumo back in it's sheath before running towards the exit. When he got to the exit, Tenya and the rest of the teachers arrived and saw Izuku holding a bloodied Cloud, they were shocked and Nemuri, their history teacher said "What happened?!" Izuku explained that Cloud fought a bunch of villains and the Nomu, who All Might was fighting right now.

Nezu, the principal of UA looked at Cloud silently as Ectoplasm, their math teacher, said "You didn't stop him?!" Izuku grimaced and said "He wouldn't stop.. He said he wouldn't be a hero if he just watched, no matter how injured he was." the teachers were quiet and Izuku handed Cloud to Tenya saying "Get him to the nurse fast!" Tenya nodded and disappeared, Izuku turned around and prepared to leave when Present Mic grabbed him and said "Where you going? You're arm is completely broken. Go to the nurse." Izuku pointed to the battle and said "But-"

Present Mic yelled "NO BUTS!" and threw him out of the facility at Tenya, who caught him and ran back to school.. again. The teachers watched them go and Nemuri said "That kid has guts, i'll give him that." Ectoplasm said "That's for sure, without a quirk too." the other teachers nodded and Nezu said "I think we should send him home." Power Loader, another teacher, said "Why? The kid fought against Villains, he deserves to be a hero."

Nezu said "He's quirkless, he won't keep up. If he continues like this, he'll get himself killed." the other teachers frowned and Hound Dog, the guidance counselor, said "I'll talk to him, when he recovers." Nezu nodded and Nemuri said "You're going to kick him out because he doesn't have a quirk?" Nezu said "Exactly, he won't be able to keep up with the rest as time goes on." as they made their way to the fighting spot.

They saw villains with slashes across their chests, unconscious on the ground, bleeding heavily, and even the one bisected villain. Nemuri looked around and said "Seems like he did it by himself." Nezu was silent and Ectoplasm pointed to the bisected villain and the vomit on the ground and said "Looks like an accident." the rest nodded and rounded up all the still breathing villains before tying them together.

Aizawa joined their group and said "Where's the kid." Nezu said "Cloud?" Aizawa nodded and Nezu said "Infirmary, but first, who did all this?" as he pointed to the slashed bodies and the dead one. Aizawa said "The kid, obviously. Why?" Nemuri waved and said "Nezu is going to kick him out of school." Aizawa frowned and said "Why? He held his own and he didn't back down."

Nezu said "Precisely that. He was severely injured and barely breathing as he was escorted to the nurse. I assume he wouldn't stop until he collapsed." Aizawa was confused and said "Isn't that what heroes are supposed to do?" Nezu said "He doesn't have a quirk. He will fall behind the others and he will get himself killed. I don't think you want that, do you?" Aizawa frowned and said "Just because he doesn't have a quirk, you think he can't keep up?"

Nezu nodded and said "He can stay until the sports festival, after that he's gone." Aizawa was silent for a while before saying "What if he gets first place?" the other teachers shook their heads and Nezu said "Impossible." Aizawa said "And if he does?" Nezu said "If, and only if, he gets first place in the sports festival, I will allow him to stay and admit that my judgment was incorrect." Aizawa nodded and left, heading towards the students.

Aizawa made sure they were all okay before saying "All of you return to class, now." they nodded and left, Aizawa watched them go before going to All Might.

Cloud was laying down in a medical bed with IV's and an oxygen mask attached to his mouth and body with his eyes closed. Recovery Girl, the nurse, stretched her lips and kissed Cloud's forehead as Mei barged into the room and fell on her face saying "Wahh! My partner!" before getting up and looking at Cloud. Izuku tilted his head in confusion and said "Who are you?" she turned to him and said "Mei Hatsume! Who are you?"

Izuku said "Izuku Midoriya. Are you Cloud's friend too?" Mei puffed out her chest and said "We're partners!" Izuku was still confused and said "Partners?" Mei nodded and Recovery girl said "It means she likes him but she won't say anything about it and he was no idea." Mei's face turned red and said "You damn granny! Why do you hate me?!" Recovery Girl laughed and said "You send me patients everyday with your inventions, Mei." she sighed and said "My job just keeps getting harder and harder.." as she walked away and sat at her computer.

Mei glared at her before going to Cloud's side, she looked at Izuku and said "Don't tell him I was here." Izuku nodded and said "Is he going to be okay?" Recovery Girl said "His body was destroyed pretty bad. I fixed him up but another incident like that and I'll have to do surgery. He'll be as good as new or even better in a day or two." Mei said "Even better?" Recovery Girl nodded and said "The body becomes tougher the more it's broken down and healed. In his case almost every bone in his arms and torso was broken, but nothing my quirk can't fix."

She got off her chair and took his shirt off as she pointed to his rib cage and said "Broken in almost every rib, he was lucky none of them punctured his lungs." Mei looked at his body and said "What did he fight?! A blender?!" Izuku looked at his torso and said "He just got punched and kicked by a monster.."

Recovery Girl nodded and said "Yes. These were here already, they've already healed, I can't fix that." Mei run her fingers over his chest and felt all the bumps and scars and gasped. Cloud had scars and cuts all over his torso and back, she said "What happened at USJ?" Izuku told her everything he saw and what Cloud did, she sighed and moved his hair from his face mumbling "My damn partner's gonna die on me before he can try any of my inventions..."

Aizawa, Hound Dog, and a few other students from 1-A walked in and saw Mei. Aizawa said "You're here too?" Mei turned green and said "Don't tell him I was here! Plus I came to get something from the nurse!" she grabbed a pen and said "There it is!" before running out of the room, the students were confused and Aizawa watched her go and laughed before looking at Cloud, who still had his shirt off.

Recovery Girl filled him in on the details and Aizawa nodded, Hound Dog said "I need to speak with him after when he's awake." Aizawa nodded and said "I'll be there as well." Hound Dog nodded and left. Leaving Aizawa and the students, crowing Cloud's bed and looking at all the scars on his body in awe, Katsuki narrowed his eyes at Cloud before leaving to train himself, he was starting to feel pressure from Cloud even though he didn't have a quirk. While he didn't fight, Cloud din't hesitate at all to jump in to a real life or death fight. He punched a wall and left. The others also left after a while, leaving only Aizawa and Izuku.

Aizawa said "Thanks for saving me. Very courageous of you." Izuku shook his head and said "It was Cloud who saved you, I just brought you away. Truthfully I didn't do much." he looked down and clenched his fists, Aizawa nodded and said "You still stepped in without fear, without that you will never become a real hero." Izuku nodded seriously and said "Cloud told me he lives with you, can I come and train with him?"

Aizawa sighed and said "I guess so. That's the only thing this kid does anyway. It's a miracle he even made friends." Izuku chuckled and said "It was mostly me talking to him..." as he scratched his head, Aizawa shook his head and All Might walked in saying "Izuku! There you are! Hello Aizawa!"

Aizawa waved and All Might looked at Cloud and said "I heard what Nezu said." Aizawa replied "Izuku can we speak privately please?" Izuku nodded and left after closing the door. Aizawa said "You don't think he can do it either?" All Might said "On the contrary! I believe he can!"

Aizawa looked at him and All Might said seriously "He didn't hesitate to rush in against the odds, he also refused to give up despite his injuries. From what I can tell he trains extremely hard to surpass everyone else, plus..." he pointed to Cloud's chest scars and said "You don't get these if you're not a fighter. I think it will be extremely hard but he can do it.. He might need some help though."

Aizawa nodded and said "Yeah. Most likely." All Might said "He'll be a great hero, though I think he might have been too reckless." Recovery Girl said "Too reckless is right, he was half dead when he got here! Good thing i'm so amazing." the other two sweat dropped and Recovery Girl snapped "Now get out of my infirmary! What do you think this is? A talking lounge?!" the duo got out quickly as she started waving her syringe shaped cane at them mumbling "Damn brats.."

The next day

Cloud woke up in the infirmary with IVs and an Oxygen mask attached to his body, he ripped everything off and sat up. Recovery Girl said "You're finally awake! Now get out of here!" Cloud choked on his saliva and said "Aren't you the nurse?" Recovery Girl snapped "Do I look like a personal one, brat?! I had to look over you for an entire 24 hours! Are you okay?!"

Cloud clenched his fists and moved his body around before saying "Yeah." Recovery Girl said "That's great. NOW LEAVE YOU DAMN BRAT.." she went off on his and he grabbed his sword and Kimono and ran out of the room.

He draped his kimono over his bare torso and fastened his katana on his hip as he walked around barefooted with shorts on. He frowned as he looked at the time, it was in the middle of a class, obviously he was going to miss, he decided to go see Mei. He wasn't strong enough, he needed her help, plus she was super cute, he smacked himself and mumbled "Just for help.." as he made his way to her class.

He passed by students, who all looked at him weirdly for not having a shirt or shoes on, his hair was down as well so some of them recognized him as the quirkless hero. He ignored them and knocked on the door to room 1-H, he heard a bunch of fumbling around and a loud bang before the door opened.

Cloud smiled and Mei slammed the door in his face before cleaning up quickly and opening it again saying "Hey!" he chuckled and said "Hey, I need your help." Mei dragged him inside saying "Anything for my partner!" before closing the door.

Cloud sat inside as he looked at all the gadgets around saying "What do all these do?" Mei smiled widely and showed him every single one and what they do, a lot of them were support items for hero costumes but she showed him some stuff that she was working on as she said "I designed it myself! It's a jetpack that will allow you to fly!"

Cloud gasped and said "You made that!?" Mei smiled proudly and said "Yup! It's not finished yet though.." Cloud sighed and said "That's the coolest thing I've ever seen." Mei blushed a bit and said "Of course! I'm amazing!" Cloud chuckled and said "I wanted you to help me with training, do you have like weights or something?"

Mei snapped her fingers and said "I do! I just made them yesterday!" he sifted through a box of gadgets, throwing most of them everywhere, Cloud smiled slightly and caught her gadgets so they wouldn't fall on the floor and break. She found them and pulled them out with a lot of effort before putting them on her workbench and turning around to see Cloud holding all her gadgets. She smiled sweetly and said quietly "You didn't have to catch them..." Cloud said "Well you made them all right? They must do something, what if you break something important?"

Mei put the box in front of him and he dumped them all back in the box, she put it back where it was before tackling him to the ground and saying "You're really nice to me!" Cloud's face reddened and he said "Well... I.. uh" she looked at him and said "I like you, were going to work together. You need a new suit too." Cloud's eyes turned to swirls as he said "You like me? Together? Suit? Eh?"

She pulled him up and felt his chest and arms as she took his measurements, she did the same for his legs and feet. She got to his neck and then his face and head, she giggled as she squished his face and it turned red as he looked into her eyes. There was a comfortable silence as they stared into each other's eyes, their faces moved closer together and were about to touch when the door slammed open.

The duo froze and turned to see Aizawa, who said "You're skipping class now?" Mei's face turned completely red all the way to her ears as she coughed and put the weights on his wrists and ankles and said "I got all your measurements, just send me the design! Thanks for dropping by!" as she pushed him out the door and slammed it shut, she sat down and held her chest, her heart was beating extremely fast. She held her face with her hands and smiled like a little girl.

Cloud was stunned and looked at Aizawa saying "Poor timing." Aizawa grabbed his ear and dragged him along as he said "You can spend time with your girlfriend after class." Cloud felt like his ear was going to coming off as he said "Alright dad..." Aizawa froze for a second before saying "I suppose I adopted you.." Cloud was shocked and said "What?!" Aizawa nodded and said "I did take you off the streets after all."

Cloud teared up and hugged him as he got dragged across the school and said "Thank you." Aizawa smiled slightly and went to Hound Dog's office. Aizawa kicked the door open and threw Cloud into a couch, Cloud smashed into the couch and rubbed his nose saying "What is this, I was with a girl do you really have to throw me around?" Aizawa sat down and shook his head as he pointed at Hound Dog.

Cloud sat on the couch and Hound Dog said "How are you, Cloud?" Cloud nodded and said "Good. Yourself?" Hound Dog said "Good, thank you for asking. Have you had any nightmares from the attack?" Cloud shook his head and Hound Dog continued "Even of the villain who perished?" Cloud grimaced and said "No, it was a live or die situation, it was either him or me. I threw up in shock and disgust but I'm over it now."

Hound Dog nodded and said "Do you feel the urge to kill again?" Cloud shook his head and said "No." Hound Dog nodded and said "Now that you're okay mentally, I would like to get to the next topic. In light of recent events concerning the USJ incident, Principal Nezu has decided to have you leave UA for your own safety."

Cloud was shocked and snapped "WHAT?! Why?!" Hound Dog said "Because he feels that you not having a quirk would impair you from keeping up with the rest of your class, therefore putting you into dangerous situations and putting your life at risk." Cloud seethed and clenched his fists, it's always the quirk, he said "What about my performance?"

Hound Dog sighed and said "While impressive, the principal feels that the others will catch up in time and surpass what you did." Cloud said "That's bullshit!" Hound Dog sighed and Aizawa spoke "Do you feel that it's unfair?" Cloud nodded and said "Just because I don't have a quirk, I already have to work harder than anyone else! Now I have to leave because I might not keep up with the rest?! I don't even get a chance!"

Aizawa nodded and said "That's what I said. Hound Dog can confirm." Hound Dog nodded and Aizawa continued "Listen to me very carefully." Cloud looked at him and he said "I got you a chance." Cloud frowned and said "But.." Aizawa said "But to stay, you have to get first place in the Sports Festival." Cloud nodded and said "What's that."

Aizawa explained the sports festival and what it was, Cloud said "Basically I have to beat everyone in the entire school." Aizawa shook his head and said "Not school, the grade. All the first years." Cloud nodded and said "When is it?" Aizawa said "Two weeks." Cloud let out a breath and said "Weapons?" Aizawa shook his head. Cloud nodded and stood up saying "I'll be at home for two weeks, if we have school, i'm not coming." before leaving the office.

The two watched him go and Hound Dog said "I don't know what Nezu is thinking. Crushing a boy like that." Aizawa said "Nobody cares about you if you're quirkless, Hound Dog.. Nobody." Hound Dog sighed and shook his head as Aizawa left.

Cloud knocked on Mei's door and she opened it saying "You're back!?" Cloud nodded and said seriously "I need you." she blushed and said "Well when you say it like that.." Cloud chuckled and pinched her cheeks saying "I need you to help me with stuff. If I don't come first in the sports festival, I'm expelled."

Mei was shocked and huffed "Why?! What about my partner! What about me!?" Cloud said "Principal thinks i'll fall behind compared to quirk having students." he lifted his wrists and said "How many times heavier can you make these?" Mei said "I can probably make them 10x heavier." Cloud nodded and said "Can you do that for me? These are fine for now but I need heavier." Mei grinned and said "No problem! Also if you have time send me what you want your new costume to look like!"

Cloud smiled and said "I'm not coming to school until the sports festival, do you have a phone?" Mei took out her phone and he gave her his number as he said "I'll send you my address too. So if you have time you can see if any of your gadgets could help me train." Mei was overloaded with information and just nodded dumbly before saying "When are you leaving?" Cloud looked at the time and said "Probably as soon as you close the door."

Mei looked around and pulled his collar, she pulled him down and kissed him quickly before closing the door, leaving Cloud stunned, he wasn't expecting that. He touched his lips and smiled before dragging his weighted limbs across the school. He arrived at the class and saw the entrance crowded, he pushed people aside and frowned at them all before walking inside and grabbing his schoolbag, everyone was sitting around doing nothing because Aizawa was still missing.

Izuku said "You're awake!" Cloud nodded and said "I won't be back until the sports festival though." Izuku was confused and said "Why?" Cloud shook his head and said "I need to train." Katsuki scoffed and said "What are you trying to do? Get first place?" Cloud looked at him and nodded saying "That's exactly what i'm going to do. I'm skipping for two weeks to train." the class gasped and Katsuki, Shoto, and Izuku clenched their fists as they stared at him.

He said bye to Izuku and left, a kid was blocking his way from leaving and the kid said "If it isn't the quirkless loser. Embarrassed yourself enough to leave the school yet?" the class frowned and Cloud said "Move." the kid sneered and said "You gonna make me?" Cloud punched him in the face and sent him flying into a wall as he said "Just because I don't have a quirk doesn't mean i'm not stronger than you." before leaving.

Katsuki watched him go and packed up his things as he said "Tell the teachers i'm sick." before he left as well, Shoto followed him. Izuku watched them go and sighed before packing his bags as well and leaving, the rest of the class frowned and started feeling severe pressure, they all left to go home and train by themselves.

Nemuri walked in and said "Who's ready for historyyy~" before choking on her own saliva at the empty classroom. She looked at the chalk board and read 'We went to train at home, we won't be back until the Sports festival -Class 1-A' she rubbed her forehead and said "These damn brats.. They can't just skip school to train.."

A few days later

Cloud was training his body and hand to hand combat with the weights, he trained all day until he collapsed, he ate, went to bed, and did it all again the next day. He was training when he heard the door bell, he shouted "It's open!" as he continued, Mei walked around and found Cloud in the backyard training area. She wheeled over a bunch of boxes and said quietly "These are for you.." Cloud stood up and wiped the sweat off his face with a towel as he walked over saying "More inventions!? Cool!" as his eyes shined.

Mei went into her crazy inventor mode as she pulled out gadget after gadget and explained them all. She said "This one goes around your arms and limits your movement with the elastic in the middle! and this one is the same for your legs! If you turn this knob the elastic gets tighter and makes it harder for you to move around!" she pulled on something in the box and couldn't lift it at all as her face got red.

Cloud chuckled and grabbed her hands as he helped her pull it out, even he had a hard time. They managed to put it on the ground and Mei held his hands as she squatted and tapped on the box with both their hands, he chuckled and squeezed her hands softly, she looked and quickly let go with a red face as she mumbled "I made a bunch of weights all the way up to 15x the ones you have on right now..." Cloud smiled and watched as she pressed a button and the box opened revealing labeled slots for each weight, with one slot empty.

He took off the weights and put them in the slot as he grabbed the 5x ones, she pouted and he laughed and said "I don't have enough time to go through them all, I want to make it to 15x before the festival." she nodded and pulled out more and more inventions to help him, even a weighted suit that was the same as 10x in the weights.

He quickly put it on as she covered her eyes and turned around, he blushed too, completely forgetting that she was here as he said "I'm sorry.." she squeaked out "It's okay, i'm fine! I'll leave so you can continue." as she walked away, he stopped her and said "You almost smashed into a wall." she uncovered her eyes and saw the wall literally inches from her face and said "I see."

Cloud laughed and shook his head before saying "I'll walk you home, or did you come from school." she smiled and said "Home please!" he laughed and put shoes on before a shirt and shorts over the weighted suit. They walked together as she pointed the direction to her home.

A while later

They stopped in front of her house and Mei said "Here it is!" Cloud looked around and was amazed as he said "High tech!" Mei puffed her chest proudly and said "Of course! I helped my parents make it!" Cloud said "Cool! I didn't ev-" Mei kissed him and he closed his eyes as he held her waist. They separated and Cloud said "Wow.." Mei giggled and waved good bye as she went inside and closed the door with a red face.

Cloud walked away in a daze as he made his way back home. He went back to the training area and continued his training with all the gadgets she left him.

The day before the day before the sports festival

Cloud was working out with the 15x weights and the weighted suit as Aizawa walked out and said "You have to take a break." Cloud said "I need to get stronger or i'll lose." Aizawa shook his head and said "You have been training like a madman for 2 weeks with little sleep and 2 meals a day. It's not healthy." Cloud continued and said "If I take a break someone else won't and they'll beat me."

Aizawa stood in front of him and said "Fine let's spar. Show me how hard you trained." Cloud nodded and punched at him, he tilted his head and slapped his arm away. Cloud spun and kicked at him, Aizawa caught his kick and said "Good power. Not enough speed." Cloud ramped it up and shot forward, engaging in close combat with him as Aizawa countered all his strikes. They sparred for a while until Cloud collapsed, exhausted.

Aizawa nodded and smirked "Time for bed." Cloud looked at him and sighed "What a plan..." as he fell asleep right there on the floor. Aizawa shook his head and brought him to his room and into his bed, he looked at him and threw the covers over him before leaving the room.

The next morning

Cloud took a shower and put all his weighted gear on before grabbing Kumo and running to school, not making a sound with his feet, despite all the weights. He arrived at the school and saw Mei waiting for him, he stopped right in front of her and said "Your inventions worked like a charm!" Mei smirked and patted her chest, it jiggled as she said "Of course! I'm amazing after all!" Cloud chuckled and Mei grabbed his collar and looked into his eyes.

She said "If you lose.. I won't forgive you!" as she kissed him and ran away with a red face, leaving him stunned yet again and staring at her back as she disappeared. He smiled warmly as he made his way to the 1-A waiting room, he walked inside and saw Shoto talking to Izuku, he passed by them and they stopped talking and watched him, the rest of the class did as well.

Cloud walked to the locker and smirked as he took of the weights and dropped them into his locker one by one, causing a small but loud bang every time. The others stared at him and Katsuki, Shoto, and Izuku narrowed their eyes as Cloud took off his suit and dropped it in the locker as well with a bang. He put on his P.E uniform and rolled up his sleeves and unzipped the front before putting on sneakers and sitting down with his arms crossed as he looked at the rest with a grin, they all grinned at him and a fire started in their eyes as the announcement to start the Festival sounded.
