Chapter 5 - (END)

(this is ayaka's POV to finish off the story, hope you enjoyed Yoimiya's POV for a bit! -author)

"So... where's my love song~?" Yoimiya says in a singsong voice. It's sunday morning. The morning after we kissed.

Oh, Archons, we kissed.

The kiss was wonderful, don't get me wrong, but the shock hasn't quite set in.

"Wh- Love song?" I stammer, my face turning red.

"Yes, yes! You are in love with me, are you not? So, if you wrote a song about me… it's a love song!"

"Well, by that logic, if I put two pieces of bread on the sides of your head, you'd be a dork sandwich." I retort playfully.

"Aw… you know you love this dork sandwich though~"

"Unfortunately." I dramatically sigh.

"But enough chit-chat. I want to hear my love song!" Yoimiya says brightly.

"Well… okay. Come here." She follows me into my room, and I turn on my computer. Once I've logged in, I open the song.

The enthusiastic beat begins. As the song plays, I can see Yoimiya's eyes sparkling, her face lighting up. As the music carries on, I can practically feel the energy radiating off of Yoimiya. Then, comes the more quiet part. It's an alternative version of the enthusiastic beat, but this one is serene, kind, and gentle. But just as quickly, the beat picks up again, and the song ends.

"Wh- I- I mean- That was-" Yoimiya can't quite figure out what to say to this. I hold back a laugh.

"Hey, Yoimiya?" I ask, smiling.

"Yeah?"

"Will you be my girlfriend?"
